I was invited to a Birthday Brunch and it was oh so lovely! It was my first time here and after reading reviews, I was excited to experience for myself. We had a separate room. The staff were inviting and pleasant. The room was decorated nice, idk if that was the restaurant's doing or the party hosting, either way, it was beautiful. We came to Delmonico's to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a wonderful experience. They seated us toward the back of the restaurant, where it was quieter and surrounded by other couples. Between the beautiful lighting fixtures and chandeliers, the whole space had such a romantic feel. The service was wonderful. We barely noticed the staff, yet somehow they were always there exactly when we needed something. To me, that's true white-glove service: never intrusive, but always attentive. We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu and shared a half bottle of Connétable Talbot 2020, the second wine of Château Talbot from Saint-Julien, Bordeaux. Here's what we had: Maine Crab Cake +$10 -- 4.5/5 This was wrapped in string potatoes and fried, making it perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft and full of crab meat inside. What I really loved was that there wasn't a bunch of breading or filler. It was just a wonderfully generous amount of seasoned crab meat with aioli on top. Caramelized Bacon -- 4/5 Super tender with the perfect fat-to-meat ratio. It was so tender that I actually wondered if it had been braised before being finished. Rich, flavorful, and definitely a good start to the meal. Caesar Salad -- 4/5 We ordered this separately from the main menu. It was beautifully presented, and every piece of lettuce was well seasoned. Anchovies aren't really my thing, but my husband loves them, so this was definitely more his dish! New York Strip -- 4/5 I ordered mine medium rare. It was well seasoned and delicious, although one section toward the outside was closer to well done while most of the steak was medium to medium rare. By this point I was already getting full, but I still kept eating, especially the potato purée. It was SO good I wanted to order another one to go. Signature Ribeye +$45 -- 5/5 Also ordered medium rare, and this one came out perfect. Super juicy, amazing flavor, and a great fat-to-meat ratio. Definitely the winner between the two steaks for us. For our anniversary, they surprised us with vanilla ice cream and a little Happy Anniversary sign, which was so cute. The vanilla ice cream was honestly one of the best I've had. It was light, flavorful, and not overly creamy or heavy. Cheesecake -3.5/5 The cheesecake came with strawberry, cherry, and raspberry flavors, and I especially loved the cherry and raspberry. My only complaint was the temperature. It felt closer to room temperature rather than chilled, although maybe that was intentional to keep its light and creamy consistency. Baked Alaska +$10 -- 5/5 We had to try another Delmonico's original! They bring it tableside and flambé it right in front of you, which makes it such a fun dessert experience. It had banana and peach flavors. I'm personally not a big banana fan, but my husband absolutely loved it. 5/5. Overall, we had such a beautiful anniversary dinner. Between the romantic atmosphere, attentive service, great food, and little anniversary touches, Delmonico's made the evening feel special. Came here for the very first time during restaurant week. $60 for 3 courses had a lot of people attending as the restaurant was packed at 5:30pm. Didn't realise how big the restaurant was - we were seated in a back room behind the bar - had a nice ambience to it. The restaurant week menu offered a variety of options. I opted to pay $10 supplement and went for the Maine crab cake. No regrets there at all. It was so good. One of the best crab cakes I've had. For appz, we all ordered the steak which came with a brocolli and some mash. It was delicious, a bit on the undercooked side but otherwise good. My only complaint here is the portion sizes differ between three people attending. No consistency. My husband got the rib eye for $35 extra. He got it medium rare and it came rare. The waiter was apologetic and took it back. Desserts were great - got another up charge for the baked Alaska. Worth it to see the theatrics. All in all it was a good experience. I would recommend paying in cash if possible as it was an extra $20 on a $500 something meal to put it on credit card. read more

I like eggs benedict. So naturally, I had to try the restaurant where it was invented! I even brushed up on YouTube to see how it's made here! We started off sharing the crab cake. Oh my! It's quite possibly the best crab cake I've ever had. No filler, just a ton of sweet, succulent crab encased in a fried potato string pouch. I ordered the eggs benedict, of course. That bernaise sauce is just...wow! It's what really sets their eggs Benedict apart from everyone else's. I also liked the brioche versus the English muffin. I do wish they offered a half order because it is very rich, and also I'd also like to have room to try other items on the menu. The fiancé got the steak frites. Cooked a perfect medium rare, the steak had a good "beef" flavor. They really seasoned it minimally to allow the natural flavors to shine through. Another Delmonico's invention: we couldn't leave without the baked Alaska. Very banana forward and more on the sweeter side than we usually like. Glad we tried it, but wouldn't crave that one in the future. My boo literally had a two martini lunch: the first, an Olive martini, the second, a Delmonico's martini. He found the "Delmonico's" online and when he ordered it they brought him out a second Olive martini. When we inquired about it, the "Delmonico's" is an old recipe that was swapped out a few years ago (gin and vermouth), so be specific if that's what you're after! The service was very good here. The only "Ick" was there was a dead fly on our plate when we were first seated. I told one of the staff and they changed it right away. Delmonico's is America's first fine dining restaurant. The service was really good, I had a great waiter who was knowledgeable about wine pairings to your meal. For an appetizer, I got the caramelized bacon, which was really delicious. For my entrée, I got the signature Delmonico Ribeye and it was really bad. The cut of meat I had I believe bad - super chewy, medium but was a tough cut, fatty. Just overall a pretty bad experience for their "signature" cut of meat. And for my dessert, I had the chocolate symphony - not really a huge fan of dessert but it was about a 6. Overall pretty overpriced for a seemingly mediocre steak experience. I'm truly disappointed. Also one last mention other patrons and I were swatting gnats the WHOLE dinner experience. 14 years later and I've come back for a restaurant week deal. I paid $35 14 years ago and inflation now brings us to $60 for a dinner menu. Still completely worth it. I've upped the rating to 5 stars 14 years later and now have photos to show for it. As someone who has gestation diabetes and is slightly anemic this restaurant week menu was perfect for me. The appetizer was a caramelized bacon but I asked for it to have no caramelization. It came out 5 minutes later and was substantial and tasty even without the caramelization. My partner had the Maine crab cake for an additional supplement of $10. He said that was the most crab he's ever seen in a crab cake. Needless to say he enjoyed it. The entree I had the New York strip steak with Pomme Purée, Broccolini, Sauce Verte. I asked for it well done as that's my current situation and it probably came out slightly under well done. I ate it nonetheless, and no issues a few days later. I started with the steak and then the broccolini and dabbled a bit with the pomme puree (limiting myself because of GD). The steak was absolutely divine with the sauce verte. The only con was I wish I had more sauce! The broccolini was also nicely done - no bitterness and the perfect crunch. The pomme purée was just wow. I was only able to have a few bites but this was the most flavorful mashed potato I've ever had. You cannot go wrong with this dish, especially with no additional surcharge. My partner had the wagyu, but it didn't look as appealing as mine. It only came out as a steak with no sides. He said he enjoyed it though. He had to then separately order a side of broccolini and that was good in the restaurant but not microwaved a few days later. The dessert we had the cheesecake and chocolate mousse. The cheesecake was for me and was the more practical option for someone with GD. I allowed myself one bite and packed the rest for home. It was so very satisfying. The berries and the cake were perfect. I pricked my finger an hour later and since my levels were optimal, I allowed myself another 3 bites when I got home. The mousse seemed good as well. Overall, my levels stayed well below 140 and I was so very satisfied with this meal. The service was also excellent. Visited Delmonico's for the Restaurant Week but the experience was a let down by poor execution. It wasn't overly busy and luckily we scored a table at the bar. We each ordered the burrata starter, upgraded the steak cut (which has a plus $45 upcharge), and ordered a few drinks (~$25 per). The cocktails are really expensive (even by NYC standards) but the real disappointment was the main event: my guest had to actually had to send the steak back. For a "historic" steakhouse to mess up it's primary dish, especially when you are paying an extra for it, is unacceptable. Granted they replaced it but even the second one, as per my guest, was the same and chewy. Since we didn't want to wait around and order more expensive drinks we decided to skip dessert entirely (although it was included). Not worth the money, even at "discounted" Restuarant Week prices. read more

From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming, and we were seated right away. Spacious seating and well lit for lunch time. Our server, Kevin, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We started with the crab cake. Crab cakes can be hit or miss, but this one was a hit. The crab wasn't overpowering, and the seasoning on the crispy outside was just right. I ordered the sirloin, and my husband had the ribeye. Both steaks had a perfect sear, were seasoned really well, and were incredibly tender. The mashed potatoes were just as good. For dessert, we couldn't pass up the Baked Alaska. The banana sorbet inside was such a nice surprise, and the sweetness paired perfectly with the toasted meringue. My husband also ordered the Chocolate Symphony, and if you're a chocolate lover, this dessert is for you. Such a great experience from start to finish. Despite Fidi looking and feeling like Gotham, they have some of the most incredible American food in Manhattan. To name a few, Crown Shy and Manhatta, are amazing. And Delmonico's, the OG, is another amazing addition (thank god they opened again). My favorite steak is here. Why? Well it's not going to be the Peter Luger/Wolfgang's style sizzling steak in your face. Delmonico's serves you a properly aged steak, on a clean plate. With some fried garlic on top. Thick slices, if you ask them to pre-cut it (highly recommend). No frills but cooked excellently. They also have many amazing classic dishes you cannot miss out on, and they do it well! Baked Alaska as everyone knows, and their Crab Cake is such a unique and fresh dish, which you don't find anywhere else for some reason. They also go big, which is a hallmark of steakhouses. If you get the shrimp appetizer, you will be greeted with ginormous almost lobster-like shrimps. How luxurious! I really hope to come back and try their brunch dishes sometime, heard it's incredible. The restaurant is also huge. There are maybe four different dining rooms. And the service is excellent. Their bar is also great and easy to walk in. How many of those are left in NYC? We ordered crab cakes, Cesar salad, and steak tartare for our appetizer. The crab cakes were more crab than cake. It was very crabby and delicious. The tartare was also very good. Although there was more potato than steak pieces, it was still very tasty. The Cesar salad was very good as well. Whole leaf baby Romain lightly tossed and with whole pickled anchovies. Yum. For our entrees, we ordered the porterhouse for 2, pea risotto, filet mignon, Brussels sprouts, and pomme purée. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our meat temperature was perfect. Old school steakhouse in its fifth reboot. Among other things, Delmonico's makes some claim to having pushed forward an American take on restaurant hospitality. If that's the case, I found the service to be laughably passive. Sufficient, just no discipline or direction from the service team leader. This happens all over New York. It's a sign that the restaurant doesn't see a need to work particularly hard for your money. The menu is, I would say, a lot less interesting than some of the historically preserved menus that get passed around. Prices are high and there's nothing resembling a standout dish. Bread course included warm bread and nicely prepared butter. Steak tartare and tuna tartare were great. Good start. The $46 risotto was an absolute joke. Undercooked and really nothing to it. Lobster Newberg for $96-maybe they get a pass for inventing it, but the sauce was nothing like I was expecting, in the realm of one dimensional, and the "puff pastry" was more like a graham cracker relegated to a forgotten corner of the dish. Salmon for $51 was a nice piece, crisped nicely. A bit undercooked I guess but again with a low-effort sauce. The Delmonico ribeye was fine. There's so much they could do to dress this up and make it special (how about a free f--ing sauce at these prices?) but even the way it was pre sliced was too chunky. Are these people aware that there are seafood restaurants in NYC that present steak better than this? Anyway the baked alaska and cheesecake were good. It was packed, but fortunately, they found me a table by the bar. The service by EVERYONE that came by my table was impeccable. VERY nice, respectful, and helpful. They truly understand customer service and it shows. As for the food, it was amazing. I ordered the Burrata appetizer and the Signature Delmonico Ribeye, and the Prime Rib Sandwich. Had a lovely meal here on a whim. Was in the area and last minute said let's try Delmonico's. Haven't been here in a few years and it was just as good as I remembered. Didn't have reservations and hostess was very accommodating offering two seats at the bar. The bar was awesome. Our bartender was super friendly and made amazing drinks and kicked off a great conversation throughout the meal. The venue was busy for a Tuesday night. The bar was lively and customers and staff were all friendly and engaging in random conversations. The food was excellent. The bar service was outstanding. Caesar salad and the yellowtail crudo was delightful and beautifully presented. We shared the wagyu strip with steak fries and we devoured the meal. Steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The service was elegant and the food, amazing- especially the Maine crab cakes and the desserts. We did not order steaks because it was so unbelievably hot outside and meat would be too heavy for such a day. -------- The only downside- and it is a big one- is that Delmonico's communication system is a COMPLETE DISASTER: When we made our reservations a few months ago online, we never received confirmation. Then began the torture of trying to contact the restaurant by phone, email, and website comments. We finally got through on the phone one day after 9 different tries. Everything seemed to be OK, but later that day I received a text changing our reservation to another day!! Then we had to call and call again. Whenever we left messages, we never received any responses whatsoever. Finally, when I was able to reach a receptionist to complain loudly, she patched me over to a manager to made the reservation for me. Started in 1837, Delmonico's has a storied history and you are able to see some of it on display inside the restaurant. Photos and memorabilia from the early, early days. And for that reason alone, you should dine here. Mark Twain celebrated his 70th birthday here and you can see artwork on the wall depicting that. Delmonico's created several very famous, beloved dishes ...For example, the dessert called baked Alaska. And other dishes you may be familiar with. Please, See their website. By the way, 1837 is the same year that Tiffany & Co started. What a time!! Can you imagine!? I enjoyed WINTER RESTAURANT WEEK 2026!! I had lunch on my first visit to Delmonico's. On a very cold winter's day, I appreciated the warm welcome when I entered the restaurant and that was thanks to the two women at the Hostess station. When I left, no one said anything. Nothing at all. (Almost comical, but not). And there was plenty of restaurant, staff and management by the door. A missed opportunity, to be sure. Ideally, you want your patron to leave on an up note level and the goodbye is part two of the welcome. Toward the end of my late lunch, I saw the next shift of servers (upcoming dinner time) arranging beautiful place settings on tables and sometimes adding a chair or two to a large round table. I was very impressed with the care that I saw from each of those servers setting those tables and arranging things on the table. It was obvious the staff I was watching cared deeply about having things just right, perfect. Seeing this reminded me of the fine dining establishments I've had the pleasure of visiting. Kudos to that evening staff caring about setting those tables just right. That was great to see. I loved where I was seated in a beautiful blue cozy booth type table. Apparently there was going to be a shift change... so my first server was very attentive and I appreciated that very much; he was professional and kind. I missed him when I experienced the second server; although he walked by my table several times he was initially not attentive. In any business, There is usually room for improvement. I would respectfully suggest that Delmonico's reminds servers when they're walking by a table to keep their eyes open all around, not just in one direction because at least twice the second server walked by my table, looking away from my table with his back toward my table, never turned his head to see if I needed anything and of course I did so it was frustrating to have him walk by twice. I was not going to call out, simply because that would have ruined my restaurant experience. Delmonico's is beautiful inside and I wanted to keep that ambience and that's why I did not say excuse me hello ... I just figured eventually my server would walk by and look at my table and eventually he did, and I took that opportunity to have a respectful chat with this server so that he was aware that twice he had walked by my table and not even looked in my direction. He was respectful and he heard what I had to say and the next time he walked by what do you think happened? He looked at my table, smiled, I smiled, too, and that's when I ordered my pot of tea which I enjoyed. From then on, things were fine. See my photos. I went to delmonicos for restaurant week, and they had a really great deal. For $60 each we got an app, main, and dessert. There is an upcharge for certain specialty items but overall it's much more affordable than coming outside of restaurant week. The place is a historic institution with great service and a lot of seating. For drinks, we got the lychee martini and a purple gin drink. I don't remember the name and can't find it on the website but the purple one was my favorite. For apps, we tried the Caesar salad and the thick cut bacon. The bacon is a must have, delmonicos does it so well. The Caesar salad has small roe mixed through it so if you don't like seafood maybe skip that one! For mains, the restaurant week menu had their filet mignon and then the ribeye was available for $33 extra. The ribeye is their specialty so we tried it, but personally I liked the filet more! It had a great sauce on it. Both steaks were perfectly done. For dessert we had chocolate cake and cheesecake. Both were great but I especially liked the cheesecake. Came here with the boys on a weekend evening and let me just say this steakhouse is huge. Multiple floors and rooms as they own the whole building I believe. We were seated downstairs via reservation. We had 2 orders of the bacon, 3 steaks, 2 orders of mash and 2 orders of cream spinach. Everything was GREAT, steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the sides complimented it very well as well as their sauces. This place does get packed so I'd recommend a reservation. Delmonico's has been on my list to try for a while, as it is such an iconic NYC institution. The resturant itself is absolutely stunning, there are plenty of tables inside and it has an old school but still modern feel. The white table cloths and attentive wait staff make for an upscale dining experience. The biggest highlight for me was the dirty martini with blue cheese olives, absolutely no notes. As for food, I would say the menu is definitely more limited than some other steakhouses I have been to. I was pleasantly surprised by the caviar pasta, it was decadent but did not sit heavy like some rich pastas do. Overall I had a pleasant experience and would love to return. So this was actually our 3rd choice after the first 2 were fully booked and impossible to get a reservation so we "settled" for delmonico'a as they had a "reasonable" reservation time available. We arrived timely and were directed downstairs to a table in the middle of the brightly lit room...I politely asked for a table in a quieter area as I wanted to enjoy a quiet meal with my children who were visiting for the holidays. Thankfully they moved us to a back room with warm lighting and quieter atmosphere. The thing I have to say about the food is that everything was amazing! Came here for my birthday celebration with friends on a Sunday. We were seated promptly and since it's restaurant week, we all got the restaurant week menu with the signature Delmonico's steak and various appetizers and desserts. We also got lychee martinis and a bottle of red wine. The martinis are quite strong but the flavor is nice with hints of rose and lychee. I got the crab cake as an app while my friends got the crudo, bacons, and burrata and all hit. The presentation and the flavor of the crab cake is amazing, with a massive portion. The Delmonico steaks lived up to its name. The steak is tender and juicy, and the side mashed potato and spinach added a nice balance. The only thing was it's too massive at 18 oz and we could not finish. It's my first time getting the baked Alaska. It's a fun dessert with banana, peach, and apricot elements. It's also huge. My friend got the chocolate mousse and the cheesecake those were delicious too. The only thing that could be improved is that the service seemed rushed, both our waitress and the staff serving the dishes. Not sure if it's bc they were trying to turn tables quickly. A new York institution and not to be missed. I most recently visited for restaurant week but have been before. Inside the ambience is exactly what you'd expect from a New Yorker restaurant - it's bustling with wall streeters, date nights and all sorts of people were watching. The crab cake and bacon are the stars of the appetizer menu and for mains you have to get the steak! Had dinner with my family after a Broadway show. The last time I was here was about 10 years ago. I used to work on Liberty for many years and it was nice to stop by for dinner. We were a party of 7. The appetizers were good. The bacon and the crab cake. We also did the wedge salad and it was good. The porter house was good, but not how I remembered. My sister in law's steak was not cooked right. I went to Delmonicos for the first time about a week ago and had such a lovely time and meal with my best friend who was in town celebrating her birthday and our major career win. They went above and beyond to make it all special :). We got to take advantage of restaurant week with 1 app, 1 main, and 1 dessert for about $60 which was such a steal. My friend got the winter soup an I got the burrata and both were delicious, though the burrata was quite light and not super filling as compared to the winter soup, which I wish I got. For mains, we both got the filet minion and it was one of the best steaks I'd ever had. Amazing meal, though the portion of everything felt a hair small -- I suppose that was due to the deal? For dessert, I got the cheesecake which was good, but nothing too wild. Just a simple, fluffy vibe with a very hard crust. My friend got the baked Alaska (which was invented at Delmonico's in the 1800s!) and was a stellar dessert with banana flavor and richness. Super interesting! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was stunning. Definitely a place for celebrations and fancy energy. I'll be back! read more

What an amazing place. It's my boyfriend's birthday and we accidentally came during Restaurant week....incredible deal and INCREDIBLE food. Wagyu was worth every penny and the desserts were phenomenal. Portion sizes are good and not too big. Service was amazing and it's a very romantic, low lighting establishment. Also, it was raining really hard and the subways were delayed and they still honored our reservation even tho they were VERY busy and we were VERY late. So kind!! read more

I've been here quite a few times, including back when I lived a few blocks away on Hanover Sq, and I don't think I've ever had a single bad meal here. Let me just say two things: the yellowtail crudo is both the best crudo and the best yellowtail dish I've ever had. If you're looking to feel fancy and spend an evening downtown, having an impressive dinner at Delmonico's was a great spot to enjoy. Walking in you immediately feel the elegant ambience with high ceilings, large groups of tables and very attentive weight staff. I was a bit disappointed when as of party of two we were seated all the way in the back room. I wouldn't say it's as nice as the front room, but still felt dark, cozy and intimate. We ended up ordering A LOT of food and the staff was kind enough to inform us that since it wouldn't all fit at our table at the same time, they would split it up into different courses for us. THE FOOD: We started with a seafood platter that had a lovely dramatic presentation. The seafood was fresh but I think I learned that cold unseasoned seafood isn't really my thing. I would save my money on this and get a more curated seafood dish on their menu. Continuing on the appetizer as we had the crab cake, yellowtail tartare, and bacon. I was very excited about the famous bacon but honestly, I would pass on that next time it wasn't as impressive. One of my favorite bites of the night was the yellowtail tartare. And I think that is owed to The new head of chef who is incorporating all these lovely Asian flavors into the traditional steakhouse. The crabcake was also not your traditional crabcake. It was packed with crab on the inside with a crunchy potato string on the outside. It was really lovely. For entrées, we shared the lobster Newburgh and lamb chops. Lamb chops were unbelievable also a top bite of the night. I think my expectations for the lobster were very high, but it was not necessarily my favorite and the crispy rice that comes with it was pretty terrible in my opinion. For our steak, we shared the Wagyu cote de beuof, it was a fine steak, presented extravagantly, the spinach side dish was delicious. Finally, I urge you not to skip out on dessert --- the baked Alaska and the cheesecake are to die for. I couldn't pick a favorite. All the flavors were on point. I enjoyed a fancy night out here, but I probably wouldn't come back anytime soon unless I had someone to impress that really wanted to go to a steakhouse read more

An old-school fave, that's even fun on a Monday! We came here during restaurant week and I accidentally showed up an hour early so I got the most delicious martini at the bar while I waited for my partner. The decor and ambiance were spectacular, and the staff was lovely. I highly recommend coming during Restaurant Week - it's a fantastic deal, and you get to try more things for way less. We got the crab cake, bacon (TOO delicious), ribeye, filet (Eye), hash browns, chocolate symphony, and the famous baked alaska. Everything was scrumptious and I'd definitely order everything again. Sooooo good! We came on a total whim (and it was not the best since I was dressed in sweats and a baseball hat) but we still took the lunch res and showed up. They were kind enough to seat us but asked if I'd remove my cap. Totally fine! Anyway, we got 2 salads and wasn't a fan of either. The Delmonico's steak though was GREAT. We got two sides. I think mushrooms and some other veggie. Both had an Asian flair which kind of threw me. Didn't seem to pair with the standard steakhouse steak. So 5 stars for the steak, and maybe 3 for the salad and sides. They gave us a complimentary dessert bc we just got engaged. So it was great, but next time I'll just get extra steak, and some standard sides like mashed potatoes and spinach and forget the other sides. read more

One of the oldest steakhouses (wasn't continuously open, but still noteworthy). but in south Manhattan, it's a great spot for a special occasion and a great steak. The ambience is nice with spacious booths, chandeliers, and large art deco style paintings. Bathrooms are small though. Bread was soft inside with crunchy crust, pairing well with black salted butter. We got the filet mignon and ribeye, both cooked to perfection and juicy and tender. The fries were great and perfectly dipped into the aioli sauce. The roasted squash tasted good, but it was pretty oily. The best part - the showstopper was the Baked Alaska, claimed to have been invented here. I really don't see this on any menu, so I had to try it. Anything flambeed tableside wows me. The combination of the hot meringue and the chilled banana inside with apricot jam was a crazy and wonderful mix of flavors and textures. It is definitely worth trying. The service was impeccable, and all the food was amazing. This place is a must if you can get all the way down the island to celebrate and have a great meal. read more

Beautiful large restaurant and our server was literally so wonderful. The Caesar salad was good could have been bigger and more anchovy. The burrata was also small but really delicious. The eye of Delmonico's steak wasn't quite as tender as I'd like but it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The baked Alaska was so cool and tasted good as well. The chocolate symphony wasn't too sweet and tasted yummy. Would definitely recommend this classic steakhouse. read more

I went to the steakhouse thinking that it was one of the best steakhouses in New York City. We went for lunch. The wedge salad was underwhelming and only had a few toppings on it. I asked for two side dressings and only one came. I asked for filet mignon as a salad add on, and they forgot to bring it. My party was finished eating by the time I started my meal. The error might not have been hers. It might have been the kitchen's error. The hamburger was mediocre. Also, the french rosé that I initially ordered was old wine and was horrible. The waitress was very nice and did comp me a glass of wine. The Chardonnay was nice. The ambience was good. I will not be back. read more
