Seven am on a Monday morning. Service was so bad, left after coffee was served after watching our food sit on a warmer for twenty minutes. First clue should have been the fact we had to seat ourselves and the obviously very unhappy people finishing up in the dining room ahead of us. After taking our order and pouring coffee, we never saw the single waitress that was serving the entire dining room acknowledge our existence again. Finally left and ate at the cocos down the street. This Denny's was on the same property as our hotel, the Best Western Pavilions. Went here on our first morning before we hit up Disneyland since we didn't plan ahead for anything else. Don't rely on the pictures since they do not represent what you'll actually get. The prices are high for what you get. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were staying at the hotel right next door to this Denny's, so last night after Disneyland we decided to go have late dinner. We were greeted by a very nice women and seat. Well after we were seated not one person came to see if we even wanted drinks for like 15 minutes, and not that it's a big deal we all get busy sometimes. Terrible service!!! We ordered chocolate chip pancakes and got charged extra for them but when we received the food it was cold and had no chocolate chips. This wouldn't be that big of an issue except when we called about being changed the person answering the phone (Maria) was extremely rude, not listening or willing to help or refund them money. Didn't have the best experience at this Denny's. We were given dirty silverware and when we asked for new ones those were dirty too. Also, one of the pancakes we ordered had multiple pieces of hair inside the pancake. It wasn't on top or any place that would potentially make it one of our hairs, so we could confidently ask for a discount. Even though we got the discount the waitress didn't seem to apologize or care about the situation. She just took the plate and said "ok" when we asked if we could get a discount. I've eaten here a few times before, along with another Denny's close by. This Denny's is my favorite. The staff is very polite- the manager greeted me as I walked in. The server sat me and served me with a smile. Things were a little busy but that didn't matter, drinks were refilled and I was asked if I like their new cold brew coffee- I do, I just make sure they don't add too much sweetener. Diana was my server and she handled the busy restaurant gracefully. She knows the menu and made sure I knew what the costs for extra were. Today I got the best meal I've ever had at Denny's, the chicken and broccoli skillet. If you've never tried it, please do. The broccoli was cooked exactly how I like it- steamed with a little crunch and not soggy. The chicken was still moist and it had a very little char to the outside. The place is clean and they have a nice seating area outside too. I even bought a "grumpy" keychain when I cashed out. I recommend this Denny's over the other one that's a few minutes away- they hide the the 2,4,6,8 menu and try to rush me out the door. read more

I'm not sure who Christian is in his regular life, but the kindness he showed me this morning is immeasurable. I'm am, of course, from out of town on a family vacation and found myself without the provisions I needed for my 2yr old daughter. She is lactose intolerant and I wondered into Dennys at 4:58am, with my daughter in tow, crying and desperate looking for almond milk. I looked crazy, he could have just said "no we don't have that" and let me leave but he didn't. He practically begged me to stay in out of the cold and rain. He tucked me and my daughter in the back, in a safe warm booth, served me coffee and pancakes until I could calm down. He didn't want to take my money so I had to secretly leave it for him. Human kindness is rare today. Whoever owns this Dennys should know that Christian is a very kind man and you should give him a raise! First off, everyone bitching about the food needs to just stop. I mean really, it's a Denny's restaurant they aren't exactly known for their delicious food. They mostly serve their purpose providing greasy goodness at 3 am for drunk people. However, they have some of the tastiest chicken noodle soup and whenever I'm sick I go here. Our waitress who's name was Micaela, was serving 4-5 tables by herself and she catered to all of them. We ordered coffee and I got my chicken soup and she delivered both within 5 minutes. I was surprised. I kept forgetting to ask for water and without asking she brought us some. One of my pet peeves is eating with dirty dishes on the table, Denny's always does this. They never clear the table unless I request it. She removed the creamer cups and my bowl without asking. Overall, the experience was wonderful. She was pleasant and prompt and I would have her serve us again anytime! read more

Order a burger to go at the cashier. 30 seconds later I changed my mind and asked to get a different burger. They said they cannot change the order or charge me the difference ($0.25) instead they said they could charge me for an additional burger patty for ($4). I was told "there is nothing we can do". I will tell every one I know who goes to Disney land out here to not bother with this place if this place can't give there customers what they want. To make it more ridiculous, as I'm typing this, I think they've caught on that I'm leaving a negative review so now they are trying to give me the other burger for the same price, as the clerks excuse is that burgers are the same price all of a sudden which the menu clearly states a small price difference which was why he denied the change in order in the first place. They serve breakfast during all hours. One of their top breakfast choices is the Lumberjack Slam. The Lumberjack Slam comes with couples of foods: 2 buttermilk pancakes, sliced grilled ham, 2 bacon strip, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, and hash browns. This will fill you up the whole day. The Bacon Slam burger is a lunch meal. It comes with crispy hash brown, eggs, 2 slices of bacon covered with cheese sauce. This tells you that this burger weren't just an ordinary burger; it tastes very delicious. Seeing the juice from the fresh burger makes you want to take a big bite out of it. One of the dinner meals they had is the Country Fried Steak. It comes with golden fried chopped steak, country ranch, and for the side orders you get to choose what you want. The portions will make you not want to eat anything else for the rest of the night. One of the foods I crave from Denny's is the Lumberjack Slam. It's a breakfast meal. From my perspective,this meal is phenomenal . It makes you feel full for several hours. Another meal I tried was the Country Fried Steak. This a meal you can order at dinner's time. The fries that came with it are crunchy and smell delicious. I took my cousin there once to try the phenomenal food that I tried. He tries the Lumberjack Slam. Now he feels like coming to Denny's everyday for breakfast. He loved it so much he even ordered some food to-go so he can eat at home. I highly suggest you go and eat at Denny's.
