After a HORRID experience at Denny's Valencia last year, I probably wouldn't go to any Denny's diner at all... WRONG. Exact opposite than my experience at Valencia. In fact, I wouldn't have seen the light if my sister never dragged me there in the morning on x-mas. After I crankily sat down, the tables were so clean. In fact, I think I smelled a refreshing Lysol scent on it :D The waitress was so nice and friendly. We had small talk and told a few jokes. We ordered our food and I didn't expect so much from them until i got my Hobbit grand slam. I had eggs sunny side, pancakes, bacon, and hash browns. The best part, the food came at a reasonable time. Horrible service, 6 grown men had to squeeze into a booth that would comfortably seat 4, our waiter did not care, took the order and dropped off the food and never came back for anything, finally gave up and went to the cash register to pay. Some of the party wanted dessert, but since we never saw him again, went without. There were never drink refills or any contact whatsoever... there was also no tip whatsoever. Horrible customer service. I called to make a reservation for our company lunch. Server Javier told me they don't do reservations but prior to it I spoke to another sever and they informed me no problem. Then when I asked to speak to manager he put the phone down and told another server, "told her I will get manager, but she can wait." Then laughed. It's a Denny's, so you can't really expect much. The staff is polite and the place is clean. Since it's on the "other side" of the freeway, it's usually not too crowded. Parking is ample, near the freeway ramp and you can fill up at the Arco next door. Go there with the right expectations, and you won't be disappointed. read more

This 1 star review is for the salad I had on this visit. Normally I enjoy the food and service is always great. Don't bother with the Greek Salad off a new menu they got going on right now. Something to do with Magic Johnson. Anywho, the salad was so bad I could only force down about half of it. The only thing edible was the crisp Romain lettuce that is the base of the salad. As usual pictures and descriptions on most menus are not what you get. They are just there to entice you into ordering that item. This salad stated it included along with the lettuce, artichokes, kalmata olives, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese & croutons. I think they have all the veggies (except the cucumbers) in a marinade and scoop it out atop the lettuce then sprinkle with the rest of the items. NOT GOOD AT ALL, a Greek salad has FRESH veggies not MARINATED ones. You don't want a soggy salad for heaven sake, at least I don't. So don't bother with this item, you won't like it. read more

Awesome service. Staff is always happy and courteous. I dine here for breakfast quite often. Next to the highway, its a great place to stop bu before heading out on the road. They are currently promoting bacon on thier meals. They even have a bacon maple sundae. Wow! read more

I only gave them 2 stars for the fact that the food was good, but what a bad customer service I had from the server Yesenia G. Was there with my daughter Saturday for lunch wasn't that busy for her to not come threw my table to ask for any refills, I had a breakfast plate that included coffee and orange juice and got my daughter a kids breakfast meal doesn't come with a drink so I decided to get her the nice cups they have for kids and she said they don't come with a drink I'm like it says here on the menu it does. After I told her I also wanted OJ FOR MYSELF that's when she changed her attitude. I saw her face expression and she was well I'm gona removed all the credits and bla bla bla I was Its ok as long as I have my juice that comes with my meal and my daughter gets her juice too that why i bought the cup if not what's the use of its empty what is she gona drink i thought. Super clean. Super nice staff. Super service. They make providing a great meal look easy but it's not. I haven't had anything there I haven't enjoyed. Also a great place for parties. This is probably the WORST Denny's I've been to. It has bad customer service and the waiting time was about an hour. Our food arrived cold and about 30 minutes after we ordered. This dennys my son and i stopped at on our way home from Los angeles. I found a long black hair in my food and my hair is blonde so i know it wasnt mine and i told the waiter he said oh i will get u another one, i told him i dont really want another one i lost my appetite so he said its already cooking he would make it to go. He did take off a dollar or so off my bill but he didnt take the burger off. I contacted dennys the manager there said he would send me coupons to make up for it and when i got the coupon it was for $5 only. I couldnt believe this that didnt even cover the money i spent on the burger than never was eaten. Denny's has been our family go to place while in the 80s. But then their prices went up so much we couldn't afford it for many years so it was a nice surprise when we stopped by our local one for a quick dinner about a week ago. We come to this Denny's often, today I received the worst service since I have started visiting. We normally have the same waitress when we visit , her name is Valapa and if I were just rating on her service it would be 5 stars. I came here Wednesday evening and only one server was working. Her name was Amanda I believe. She was excellent. Everything came out hot and fresh and even though she was busy she never stopped smiling. When we were almost done, another person finally came out to help her. I didn't get her name.
