Just left and I'm not sure what happened to their service but it's the worst... The bacon they tried to serve me was so over cooked I could have crumbled it and made bacon ash. This is the third time I dine in at this location at dennys, been to other dennys and they serve well, although this dennys didn't have well service. They have been running out of a lot of items for a while now. I had ordered an Oreo shake (they didn't have Oreo shake) so they gave me chocolate ice cream blended. I also ordered the bourbon chicken skillet with potatoes and bell peppers (got no bell peppers because they were running out) they could've at least threw in more potatoes but instead had a little bit of potatoes and 5 broccoli. The grilled chicken sandwich was small white bread and everything stacked on but didnt cover the patty and veggies, it was falling apart. I also told the waitress I wanted onion rings and she told me "ok I'll have it ready for you" but didn't add it to my order nor my check ,never got them onion rings. My FAVORITE chicken fried steak breakfast is back with it's ORIGINAL white country gravy! For awhile they took it off the menu and used the brown gravy but it's the white gravy that made this breakfast BOMB! He was attentive, funny, and helped us with our order and even suggested things that normally I wouldn't add on but it really did make our order a whole lot better. I've dined here before, and it's always been a pleasant experience. However this time I ordered ONLINE, which I thought would be quick and more convenient. It was not. My order had apparently been given to another person with the same first name. I understand that it was a busy time (especially on a Saturday morning), but aren't orders/order numbers verified? It's not a pleasant thing to hear that someone else has picked up your order. I definitely won't be ordering online from here again. And the only thing the manager could give me was two $10 vouchers to come back and dine in with them. I didn't think that was adequate but that's all he could do apparently. Visited this Denny's location a few times, upon entering seating is minimal staff is friendly and welcoming this location as I have visited before is usually busy, staff and wait service is polite and welcoming. Food preparation and serve times are very reasonable. Most Denny's that I have visited are usually rushed and food can be cool upon delivery. This location I will speak of is pretty good, food and well prepared and served hot. This is a Denny's I would visit its close to our new residence and very accessible. Parking can be a bit hard you may usually find a parking is your quick but if not parking is available on the side street. She is spectacular at her job....as for the food...it was below par, by a lot. Half of the tables food (8 guests) was cold. We had a cold burger with cold fries, a cold breakfast sandwich with an unmelted slice of american cheese, a cold fried cheese melt with cold mashed potatoes, and a sad omelet that looked nothing like the picture and lacking the vegetables it promised. So I came here about 2 days ago and I order the Bourbon Skillet. It came with only 1 chicken, and I asked the server, does it only come with one or 2 chicken. She told me one but I wanted her to double check for me cause I paid $11 for 1 chicken. She check for me because the menu clearly has 2 chicken that comes with it. Okay so Hubs and I will occasionally hit up the Denny's in our 'hood because it's late and we're both exhausted and no one feels like cooking. Denny's has always been the option - great, let's go! It's always been decent, the quality of the food of what we order, the service when we've gone. Everything. So we were really bummed the last visit - we went on a Friday - just before the Easter holiday. Denny's has always been my go-to for Clam Chowder because it's consistent. Every Friday there is at least one restaurant you can get Clam Chowder that's good, thick and creamy. YAY. So I was looking forward to a bowl only to be told by our server that they didn't have it. Apparently Denny's Corp was changing their entire menu the following Wednesday and so they just gave up on the current menu items as they were being phased out anyway. WOW. No signage, just the poor servers having the lovely task of informing all the customers that they didn't have HALF the items necessary to make their menu...which she told us "we're changing everything over next Wed so the manager didn't want to order things when the menu will be different". How crappy to do that to your staff. No signage...no sign by management on the door. Nothing. Just horrible. People were walking out all over the place in there. The place was a mass of confusion. I was unhappy, and Hubs says to me "you know it's a bad sign when they're out of something you want right off the bat - it's all downhill from there and you'll just end up disappointed and be angry the rest of the night because we didn't leave" because that's how it happens with us. We have this happen and we don't leave and then I'm annoyed all evening. And so it happened. Hubs orders his burger w/ fries + ranch, I order my pot roast sandwich w/ fries + ranch. The order comes...his burger looks awesome. My sandwich...is not a pot roast sandwich as the menu states but some amalgam of ingredients that the sandwich doesn't come with, plus the pot roast, so I let our server know that it's all wrong and she takes it back. And I wait. I waited so long that Hubs had actually finished his meal before they even brought mine out. When they brought it out, it was missing one of the ingredients. Hubs just looked at me...I knew what he was thinking and he was right. We should have just left. It was a mess. I told them forget it - I ate the meat out of the sandwich w/ my fork along with the fries. Fries were passable, crispy at least. The ranch dressing however, had apparently also become a casualty to the Denny's Super-Makeover because it SUCKED. It was like milky water w/ zero flavor. OMG it was horrible. So yeah, so much for that too. Which means I won't be ordering a salad there any time soon either. Our server was awesome, super apologetic. The manager even came over after the server went to her a third time about the issues we'd experienced. Gave us an apology but did not offer to take ONE thing off of our bill. Didn't offer anything, no dessert, not even to take the cost of our iced teas off. I don't like having to do that unless I really don't eat any of it but at least OFFER to do something, for good will customer service. Hubs was right. We should have walked out. We did finally walk out. After paying our full bill. And we have never walked back in. And I won't be. read more

The second I walked in I can tell they are under staffed. There's a guy at the cash register and no cashier. There are no waiters at all as far as I can tell, a few tables are a mess and the floor near some looked like someone dumped parts of a salad. Well this place is exactly the same as the rest, not sure why. We were seated right away. Our waiter was not attentive to our table and never filled up our water after the first round. He never asked or stopped and checked on us in between dropping our food. The place was not busy so I'm not sure what problem was. The food came out and it was cold and the plates were piping hot. My boyfriend lives a 5 minute walk away so we come here ALL THE TIME, we LOVE it EVERY TIME!!! Best service I could ask for the food is PHENOMENAL every time very consistent!! The steaks are PERFECTly seasoned and cooked and everything just tastes so good. Honestly could not recommenced anything more than this Denny's location. Today I went to a different Denny's and never regretted a decision more, this location has brought my expectations up A LOT!!
