worst service we've ever had at a denny's. waiters wouldn't check on us. drinks were wrong. food took over 30-45 minutes, wasn't busy, yet our watriess was talking other servers and ignored the fact that our cups were empty. Said that the reason it was taking so long was because they were so short handed, manager or somebody came by and asked if has anyone helped us yet and we explained that we were waiting on our food still. yes they discounted the bill for the long wait, but when you aren't busy it really shouldn't take that long for a simple order. read more

Let down by the D this morning. As happy as I was to see the yellow sign ahead of me, I'll be just as happy leaving. Ordered my standard country fried steak and eggs business. The hashbrowns were overcooked, greasy and cold; the steak was tough, covered with a gravy that could be mistaken for wallpaper paste; coffee was luke warm; and toast was soaked in butter and also cold. My husband and I just moved into the area and I was super excited to have a Denny's again. I had worked at one as a teenager and always enjoyed the food... that is, until now. First, super chewy pancakes. They were out of apple juice, diet soda, and root beer. The orange juice tasted watered down. I asked for extra crisp bacon which got misconstrued to extra-crisp (burnt) hash browns. The meat was left off of my plate and had to be brought separately. All in all, for under $20 for two people, I can't complain too much about the final product. I just expected better. read more

Nope, nope, nope. The first time we ate here a few months ago, everything was spot on. Today...not so much. From the time it took to get our food, to the temperature of the meal, to the time it took to get the bill, everything was sad, so sad. We checked in around 10:00 and were served around 11:00. They tried to serve us someone else's meal 15 minutes earlier. By the time my husband asked the hostess to check on it and we were finally served, everything was cold...cold eggs, cold grits, cold pancakes. The server did bring us new eggs... but when the butter doesn't melt on grits and pancakes, you know you're in trouble. Finally, another 15 minutes to get the bill. Will we be back... that's a no. Simply and undeniably gross. I ordered a half order of nachos. What I got looked nothing like it did in the menu. The menu had a picture of chille made of meat, beans, bell peppers, and tomatoes on top of crisp, fresh tortillas. What I got was stale tortillas covered in slop made of very greasy meat that was not drained with an occasional onion in it. For the meal, I ordered the pot roast. Everything tasted freezer burned. It was horrendously disgusting. I forced myself to swallow what I could of each item just to get something into my gut and get back on the road. To me, Denny's is America's Diner ... and I love their breakfasts and lunches. Sure, their staff don't necessarily set the world on fire, but I've had some good ones, especially at this location. I am always greeted with a smile a happy hello. I joke with them and they joke right back. If things are busy I know that my coffee cup might not be topped off every two minutes, but I'm okay with that. It's good to slow down and savor our lives. Visit with friends. Enjoy the food. Learn not to be in a rush or impatient. Denny's is a great place for that. Go here and learn to relax. If you already know how, then this is your kind of place. read more

Well I kinda have mixed feeling about my visit.Maybe about a month ago i went and they told us it would be about an hour wait and that was not gonna happen so we left . On my most recent trip 9/24 my family and myself went late night for my family members birthday. When we got there we were greeted with a smile.so i was happy with my choice to eat as my family does not live in the area.And no sooner than we get settled someone notifies us that their co-workers left on them with no notice ,Now im not sure of their names but the night shift manager and one waitress held the place down all alone .Yes the food was alil behind and was alil confusion with meals but that is to be understood with what they were left with. All in all in all the customer service aspect made up for our minor complaints that night . read more

We went to this Dennys the other night and it was awful. The manager didn't care at all about how things were ran. One server went up to another while she's taking a customers order and proceeded to tell her how she wanted some of the tables that had came in. We waited over an hour for our food and got our appetizer when the food came. And the manager helped deliver it and didn't even say one word to us to apologize. They also don't serve grits at night which I thought was odd. And there was no teamwork from the employees. The food was cold and not good and late. The service was bad, our server didn't come check on us at all while waiting for our food for an hour. And the manager wanted to argue with me about the appetizer when I went to pay. We decided to come to Denny's for my daughter's birthday. She absolutely loves Denny's. But I have to say this has to be one of the worst Denny's I've ever been in. My hash browns were not cooked properly. I asked for bacon cooked limp. Well I got bacon that was slapped on the grill for a few seconds. The waitress we had only checked on us once. If she would have been friendly and checked on our table like a waitress should, she would have gotten a good tip . But when we said something about our food, she refused to come back to the table. She sent another waiter and had him give our check to us, she lost her tip. Cause how the cook cooks the food it's not her fault. I have to say the manager was not friendly either. It is worth going here again! Yes, this location had a well-deserved bad reputation but there has been a 180-degree turn-around since the renovation (which looks very nice!). We were greeted promptly and given an accurate wait time (there was a bit of a crowd which should tell you something). After waiting the amount of time we were advised it would be, we were shown to our booth. Our waitress arrived promptly, was very pleasant, and took our drink orders while we reviewed the menu. When she returned with our drinks, we hadn't finished making a decision so she asked if we had any questions (we didn't), and then she left us in peace to finish deciding. Perfect! Just as we had made up our minds, she came back, so that was great timing, and took our orders. Our food took long enough to arrive so that you knew it had been made fresh but not so long that some of it must have been sitting under heat lamps. All the food was good and cooked properly. My waitress was great, so was the hostess, but I did NOT like how a lady named Carol was treating the hostess up front, calling her out in front of customers. I also noticed another gentleman who was wearing some cat ears? rudely tell the hostess what she needed to do right in front of us in the middle of the restaurant. It's fine to tell your employees what they need to do, but not in front of everyone that way. He was raising his voice and it looked very much like he was belittling her as well. Since the reopening with new staff, this Denny's is doing a very good job. The food is good, the service is attentive but not intrusive, and unless they're been very busy, the place is spotless, with all empty tables clean. Occasionally there is a glitch - hence the 4 star rating - but I go there at least weekly now. I tend not to sit on the far side where the drinks station is. Even when the wait staff are speaking in a low voice at the station, you can still hear multiple short conversations. If this wouldn't bother you, then it would be a good place to sit. read more

First impressions.... we walked in we waited almost 10mins to be seated and yes there were many open tables! While we were standing and waiting for a table I decided to use the restroom, there were bus pans and dirty dishes in the hall outside of the bathroom. Yuck! When returning from the bathroom, we waited another five minutes to be seated. Finally when seated we got coffee and orange juice, our order was taken about 10 minutes after, and waited 40 minutes with no food served. We had it, and decided to leave as hungry as we were. First off Happy Mothers Day! Went to Denny's today for a Mothers Day , they had several customers but were not to busy. We were seated quickly. Our server was Robert & he was great! That's not the issue. The issue was that the place was not clean.Several tables still had food and trash from other customers on them and the floors were Unswept and had trash and food on the floors and under the tables. My little girl went to the restroom and came back and told us that someone had left paper towels in the sink used and that she threw them away so she could wash her hands. According to a CNBC they were supposed to be offering a free dessert to moms with purchase of two entrees , but my mom and I didn't get that . I have been here frequently and have had only two or three bad experiences here. This one is my first experience of it being very dirty and not clean. Our food was good and our server helpful but was disappointed in the restaurants cleanliness and lack of employee interest in making sure the restaurant was clean. read more

The new Denny's very nice remodel. The staff you can tell was poorly trained. The manager I seen come by a few times walking by new staff members that were struggling no response from the manager. We ordered 45 minutes later received our food. Not only did I notice my waitress the other staff seemed to need some direction. I hope things improve for the employees there. We waited 15 minutes to be seated, with 6+ tables open, then sat at our table for 10 minutes with NO SERVICE, but watched the people seated after us get their drink order. We overheard the table next to us complaining about having the order wrong, and as we walked out an elderly couple was raising hell that their order was wrong at the register. They might be good for breakfast, but between 11am and 11pm I would go somewhere else! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We got there at 1:50 am ordered our drinks and an appetizer. We ordered 2 shakes that were pretty much liquid. After we gotta ordered our food the waitress didn't take our menus. Fast forward a little bit it's 2:40 am and we're just now getting out food. There was no one in there but us dinning in. I've always had good food and good service at Denny's. Today I ordered online and had my order delivered, which, by the way, is AWESOME! One item was left out of my order so I called Denny's to let them know. I spoke with the manager and he apologized. This is where "customer service" was at it's best: the manager hand delivered my item AND gave me a gift card. That's what it's all about!! Thanks, Denny's! Fast forward to now: 10/26/19, since now on numerous occasions our delivery orders were wrong we decided to order for pickup. We get our confirmation, my husband goes in to pick it up. Shockingly, they didn't have it ready and they think they gave the wrong order to the delivery guy. My husband had to wait almost an hour for them to get our order together and when he asked if they included the wheat toast we requested the manager stated "yes, I put it in there myself" my husband got into the car, checked the bag and guess what? No toast!! He went back inside to let the manager know there was no toast and she grabbed some slices and threw them into the bag. No apology for giving our order away, no apology for his wait, no apology for getting the order wrong. I really hate to say this, but if you're looking for a place to eat breakfast DON'T GO HERE!
