If you're looking for cheap, quick breakfast food that ISN'T McDonald's, Denny's is always a solid option. Instead of waiting in long lines at some other establishments on the Strip, we decided to check out Denny's. It appeared to be a big wait, but we walked in and a server took us to a table right away. It's busy and LOUD in this place so don't expect a relaxing experience, even if you go early(ish) in the morning. The baby was making me crave pancakes, so I went with Grand Slam with chocolate chip pancakes. They added bananas to the pancakes for me which I wasn't like, STOKED about (pregnancy problems, ya know?) but I just pushed them to aside and enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes. SO GOOD. The Grand Slam is always a great option. You get an assortment of food which is perfect for when you can't really make up your mind and adding sides or replacing sides isn't too expensive. Our server was really nice got us in, served, and out quickly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a no-frills, yummy breakfast spot. read more

Food was very good. Waited about 20 minutes to get seated. The line moved quickly. We were seated with Yudit who was absolutely the worst customer server we have ever had. Pushy and belligerent are two words to describe her. Felt the need to lecture us when one of our party was not ready to order with everyone else. First time eating here and wanted to compliment my host, Connie, who provided great customer service on a busy day. Me and two friends decided to try out this place after some of the Casino buffets we normally frequent were closed. There was a ten-minute wait and the line moved quickly. The customers waiting in line were friendly and we had a nice conversation with a someone visiting from Europe. The dining area was noisy with many hungry customers and there was a lot of traffic around the tables. Our Host Connie brought our coffee and breakfast in a cheerful manner and my breakfast slam was tasty. Connie made sure our coffee cups were constantly filled and took some time to chat with us about our Las Vegas adventures. The Grand slam was very filling, and my friend helped eat my pancakes because I could finish. We had a nice experience here and will probably return in the future for the customer service. read more

The food and service and coffee here are really great, especially considering the volume that this place has to handle. There aren't many options for the healthy eater, but this is Denny's, so don't expect them to coddle your delicate gut biome. Servers are excellent, refilling your coffee and making sure all is well regularly despite all the hustle and bustle. It can be a bit of a challenge to get out the door, as literally everyone is very busy serving and prepping, and it's tough for anyone to free up to manage the till. The enthusiasm with which the staff celebrate birthdays and other celebrations at the tables left me a little less cynical about Las Vegas and the world in general every time we came in. One star dropped because the restroom is one of the worst I have ever seen in a restaurant in the US. I would normally endeavour not to visit a Denny's restroom, and this is why -- toilets full to the brim and unflushable, garbage on the floor, no soap, no towels, dirty fixtures, overflowing trash bins. Still, I couldn't fault the staff -- where would they have time to tend to a restroom? Somone needs to prioritize a housekeeping contract, because once I'd seen the restroom I could not bring myself to return to this location again. Overall, a cool legacy Denny's in a cool location, and a fun change from the weirdly entitled folks taking themselves way too seriously at the Peppermill next door. read more

Do not go to this location if you have a service dog, I went there on 5/25 with my service dog she's alerts me when I'm about to have a seizure. If I'm sitting she jumps on my lap and puts her head on my right arm , she jumped on my lap and alerted me . The manger told me I couldn't have her on my lap and since my family was with me I felt safe enough to put her back down. That was ok . When I was walking past later that night I had to go to the bathroom and it was the only bathroom I knew where it was. So I ran in , that's when the manger stopped me and told me off in the lobby area. Since I had I pee I just ran to the bathroom. I did tell her I have a Drs note on my phone and a little tag on my dogs vest with instructions on what to do . i get it if she just said the bathroom is only for people dining in or something I would have went to another place. Normally we park in the garage at Denny's And will eat there before exploring. From now on I'll just go to hammered Harry's next door at least I know what kind of treatment I'll get there ahead of time read more

I just happen to walk into Denny's. I am staying across the strip. I noticed this right away. There were customers walking out ( leaving their coffees behind ) due to waits. Alas, must be a staffing shortage (cooks & waiters). Long story short, my order finally came & lo & behold, the food was warm. Indeed, I will give this a one (for visiting). I once heard a comedian say "You don't plan on Denny's, you end up at Denny's". Well we planned on Denny's. The first morning we walked to the wrong Walgreens - so when you look at the Venetian it's upstairs of the Walgreens on the RIGHT side! OK - that's out of the way. The lines were never all that long and they did go fast. The service is quick and everything was prepared as requested with staff being friendly. The one morning, my sister mentioned she was "hangry" and the waiter brought her a small bowl of fruit! Now that's awesome!! We waited, were seated, ate, paid all in an hour! read more

Going to Vegas for vacation and you think "You go to Denny's are you crazy"? No but it's cheap and it's usually good. However I was proven wrong on this trip to this establishment. My sister and I came in after a long trip in and we were hungry but wanted something fast and we decided to go here. It isn't the easiest place to get into unless you're able bodied (you have to take an elevator to go upstairs). It's a pretty strange setup and not the easiest to maneuver around. I ordered biscuits and gravy with hash brows and scrambled eggs. My sister ordered chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. The only saving grace other than our lovely view of the strip was our kind waitress. I can't remember her name but she was very friendly and checked on us a lot. My sisters food was decent but my food was pretty gross. The scrambled eggs? Nah they were more like an omelet which I couldn't even eat. The gravy was okay minus the pieces of sausage which tasted like imposter meat. Thank goodness for hash browns that something gave my stomach something to hold over. It was a let down and I don't really recommend it. When you get off the elevator it smells like a Bath and Body Works candle being burnt (too much syrup aroma) and the food just wasn't worth it. The entire night my stomach was sick. Just pay a little more money and go somewhere else. Heck you're better off at McDonalds. read more
