So, my wife has a guilty pleasure and whenever she's happy, I'm happy. So this makes her happy, every once in a while some Denny's pancakes, that does the trick. Can't she make pancakes? Sure! But they don't have the same effect on her, as when we get them at a Denny's I'm glad this place was open and I'm up to support all our favorite places that have opened their dining areas. This place looked clean inside and they were practicing all their COVID precautions and not pushing them on any one else. The service was good. I Wanted to experience this place to see if the reviews were accurate. I got a cheesesteak omelette. Wife got Cali club sandwich. The food was good. The store was clean. It has nice lighting and everything else. We had low expectations but it exceeded. The staff was nice. Only problem here which can be a deal breaker for people is the smell inside. It's subtle but obvious. It smells like sewage. I can't say I can blame them for this, as there are many places around Vegas that smell like this. It's particularly more inside the restaurant. I got used to it after a few minutes. Takeout orders at Denny's is usually much worse than Dine-in, and much better quality food. If the idea of sewage smell kills it for you, then I can understand why people may not want to eat here. But I did enjoy the food. read more

There is one waitress helping 6 tables while the MANAGER does nothing! Today is 4/25/22 12:43pm ( just so the business owner knows what manager was on shift ). The waitress Juana is the ONLY one who seems to be working. There are 2 managers talking to themselves in Spanish and DOING NOTHING TO HELP the waitress attending to 6 tables!! Why can't they help? We go to this Denny's quite regularly. It's always fantastic service and the food is spot on. You're greeted when you come in and usually seated right away. It often seems there's one host, one server, and one or two cooks, but gosh, they take care of business! They come over right away to take your drink order. (The drinks are always kept full from then on). Soon after, they take your food order. Staff is very knowledgeable about Denny's ever-changing menu, and can even suggest things which are not on the menu, but you can still get (such as the Super Slam for $6.99 in August 2022). This last visit, we even had the store manager serving us! I suppose they're short-staffed, but you wouldn't know it. He and everyone are working super hard to give you the best customer service, and it shows. Denny's is a restaurant like McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Outback, and so many other franchises: You know the food is going to be the same whichever location you go to. If you enjoy the food, like my family does, you're going to enjoy it here. If it's not your thing, this location won't be any different. Denny's is diner food. Most of it is greasy. The coffee is hot and strong. They serve Coca-Cola products, including Minute Maid orange juice. You can get breakfast 24 hours a day, but there are lunch and dinner items, too, including many sandwiches and homestyle meals such as meatloaf and chicken fried steak. This restaurant's motif is new and up-to-date, with the retro feel of the 50's car hops. The bathrooms are always clean and have a super strong soap (rinse your hands twice! ). We keep coming back here not just because it's close to the house, but because of the wonderful service. In fact, depending where we're coming from, sometimes we pass another Denny's (on Lake Mead and Tenaya), which is good, but not SUPER-good like this location. read more

We went for a late breakfast on Thursday with 3 adults and 2 toddlers and it was an ok experience. The food was actually quite tasty and served very hot. We had the T Bone Steak & Eggs, The Crazy Spicy Sizzlin' Skillet, and the Grand Slam Slugger. The Spicy Skillet actually had a bit of a kick to it and was excellent. The T Bone was a higher quality than you would expect at a Denny's. The service, however was not great, it was slow and the waitress did not check in on us for refills very often. We got here on a good time we got sat down fast with no wait times and our server Rachel was friendly. We got our food fast.

The staff is doing the best they can with what they've got. I think the restaurant was a little understaffed to handle the steady pour of customers. My server was very polite, looked like he was working fast; however everything took a long time to get to me. As a result, the poached eggs I ordered cake out medium... regardless, I am giving the restaurant 4 stars because my bacon was crispy, English muffins were perfectly crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside and like I said, the staff was extremely nice. I will probably prefer to drive a little further to get here than put up with the negative attitude that "welcomes" me at the Craig Rd. location... Updating my previous review of 4 stars to 5 because I have been receiving consistently great service by Ray and his manager Marvin every time I visit this location. My #1 Denny's choice in Las Vegas for sure. On a side note, I would also like to thank the anonymous chefs in the back that help make this a 5 Star review! You guys are the best! read more

First time, I got great service. It was around 3AM. Today, service wasn't bad but the food was questionable at best. I got Chicken fried Chicken with Mac and cheese and red rustic mashed potatoes. The chicken was a bit over done but not bad. Really hot and juicy, the problem was the breading, it had a burst taste to it. I cut all the edges off to make it eatable. The mashed potatoes were cold, like they sat out all day at room temperature. The potatoes tasted good, really good flavor, the problem is that it was a huge contrast from the hot chicken and gravy. The mac and cheese was nice and warm but tasted burnt. I probably got the last of it from the pot. They could have said they were out, I would have take anything else, anything! It was around 9PM when I got here and there was only two other people, they could have definitely done better. It wasn't busy at all, not by a long shot! Came for an afterwork date meal. Wanted a simple milkshake but was highly disappointed this evening to see the waiter pour half into a white cup then start to drink it before even bringing mine. Made eye contact with him doing that then when I asked him about the rest of the shake he said the size I ordered only gets filled into a small glass cup. Went there the last two evenings as a paying customer after 10 p.m had the dreadful experience of having an older Hispanic male waiter the first night who waited on my table. Service was mediocre. He rushed us and rushed our party to pay the bill. We ordered another entree that he didn't even put in. We paid and returned the next evening to unfortunately be sat in his section again. He recognized us as we did him and he came to us and said, " since you take forever to pay I will have someone else deal with you ". What a piece of ....! We got a decent waiter. Then as we ate we saw a big roach with an attached egg sack that ran under the table next to us. I asked staff to sit us else where and she ignored us. Bottom line don't go there horrible atmosphere horrible service horrible food. I may add that I did say Hispanic not to belittle the waiter I am Chicana but he was shitty to say the least regardless of his race. Anthony was super helpful. I went to pick up my order at 6:30 am and was told to wait by another staff member because my order was being packed. It ended up being someone else's order because the online ordering system had sent me to a farther Denny's location on the same street. Anthony was able to put in my order again in, guide me on how to cancel my other order, make my order super quickly, give me a discount for the order, and gave me a discount for a future order. 2 stars because the food was good but almost every person in our group was missing one item for 5 people. My club sandwich said turkey, bacon,etc... my sandwich had no bacon, the lumber Jack with pancakes, had no butter...the ham and cheese omelette that came with toast had no butter, the Big Dipper melt, had no dip and the steak breakfast had no McMuffin. This time has to be the WORST experience I've had at Dennys. Our server Anthony was super rude, very dirty, and never listens to the requests of my group. We had to ask him several times for different items such as a lid or to-go trays. ( the lid we got was filthy, like it was previously used on something else). Not to mention the cross contamination of the pancakes we got. There were brown specs on my pancakes (looked like Chocolate, I didn't request chocolate). My gf and I went to Dennys on 95 and Craig. Sunday, August 27th, at approximately 1030. When we walked in, we were greeted by a young man he was probably the host. I didn't get his name. Very friendly and funny guy. He gave a big welcome and made us feel like family. He sat us quickly. Our waitress came to us right away and welcomed us to Dennys. Her name is Gaby. She took our drinks order. The drinks came quickly. Gaby took our order. I got the cinnamon roll pancake breakfast and my gf got the Denver omelet, we also got a classic sampler for when we leave. The sampler order came out with my receipt. The food came out and everything was good. The food was delicious. Food was hot, tasted, and looked good. High five to the cooks. Our server was great. She polite and friendly. Always table touching on checking on us. She always made sure our drinks were filled. Excellent service by Gaby The restaurant was clean and everyone looked busy. This has to be the slowest and worst Denny's we have ever been to. First off when we walked in we saw a few people in there. Next we had to wait quite sometime to get seated as there was no hostess. The lady waiting tables finally came and sat us and asked for drink order. Just got waters which came pretty quick. We started to look at menu's and finally we're ready to order. But alas, she did not come back so we waited and waited and waited. Other people came in and waited to be seated but it took so long and couple walked out. Don't know what was going on. But as we waited we noticed that she was the only one waiting tables, seating people, busing the tables and doing cash register. We also noticed that there was only one cook in the kitchen. We placed our order finally and then the second waiting began. So we waited, while we waited both of us went to the restroom, sat and talked, checked emails, etc. we were just about to get up and leave when our food came our way on the slowest robot server. It went past our table and stopped at the table that came in after us with their food and she served them first and then us. Don't know why you need a robot to carry food as it was so slow. She could have carried everything faster. We felt bad for the server as she had to do everything by herself. THIS IS JUST POOR MANAGEMENT. There should always be two servers and two cooks on at all times. This will be the last time here for us. We will continue to go to the one on Lakemead and Tenaya because they get you in and out quickly. read more
