The food at this particular Denny's is fantastic! My husband and I shared a chorizo burrito and a double cheeseburger with mushrooms and jalapeños. The worst service I've ever seen at a Dennys took 45-ish minutes no service no refills. No one to check up on us took them around an hour to get our incomplete and burnt food. The waiter was slow. The cook was slow they said they had " to go orders" not one person using to go The food was mediocre at best. Had the person in charge help us keep in mind the server never came back after we told him it was burnt food. We never got our utensils or the sauces we asked for until he came around with the mediocre food person charge us. I have waited tables for denny's before never once seen this. person in charge helping us that's disappointing we ended up leaving with no satisfaction whatsoever. I can't possibly describe how bad the service was. The tables weren't picked up. Had to pick up our plates from a robot cause we weren't getting any service whatsoever. Finally, a Denny's on this side of town! Brand new restaurant so it's pretty cute inside, diner-ish. Our server, Juan was so friendly and accommodating. My Mom and I shared the French Toast Slam and he split everything up for us and even let us get our 2 eggs, cooked differently (annoying, I'm aware). The worse service. The graveyard old white guy who worked FOH at 1:45am on Wednesday the 17th was very rude and rushy. After waiting forever for food i get home and the order is completely wrong. Maybe if he wasn't so unprofessional and didn't rush me he would've heard the order correctly. Where do I start... I'm sure the food would have been better if it hadn't shown up stone cold. The only thing that wasn't cold was the ice cream that was runny... I hadn't had lunch so I was starving when it finally was delivered as this was my first real meal in 12 hours since breakfast. I woke up at 3:00am with my stomach in knots, my abdomen cramping and a burning sensation in my bowels. Raced to the toilet... after 30 minutes of agony on the commode I took 2 Imodium and crawled back into bed. My stomach still cramping. I did this again every hour until 6:30 when I was supposed to her up to go see customers. I had to call in sick. My whole reason for being in Vegas was this customer. I came here with my wife for dinner after we both worked long days. The two women working as servers took forever to come back to us and we waited a long time to get our food after we ordered. There was a girl sitting at the bar that both servers obviously knew and as our food sat on the counter they sat their talking with the woman and her boyfriend. Then the waiter carried our food on her shoulder and then hugged the other girl that was sitting at the bar. The fish and chips came back super hard to cut through and way over done. The steak was barely warm. Then my drink was empty for about 15 minutes before they came and refilled it. The only reason I'm giving 1 star to this place is because the food was somewhat decent and the shakes and smoothie were really yummy. We've decided to try this place out because we drive pass it everyday and saw that it's brand new. We got there and the host was not friendly or welcoming. He was moving in a really slow motion and was confused about what to do or where to seat us. We were the only people at the front. No one in front. No one behind. A server came by to ask again how many in our party and she grabbed the menus and then said to the host "I don't know where to seat them" and gave the menus back to the host who then walked super slowly almost zombie like to the table. We were wondering what that was all about. Being in the food industry myself for the past 30 years I know how important first impressions are and the host Is the first line of defense for customers to see and make judgement about the place. One would think any place, especially a new place like this, would want to make good impression but apparently not this place. The restaurant was not busy at all. It was almost 2 pm already when we got there. There were at least 6 or 7 workers but yet we felt like we were ignored at times. At one time, my husband pointed out to me that there were 4 servers standing side by side by the counter talking. If everyone is busy l, I would totally understand if they can't get to us or whatnot but it's unacceptable to see workers just standing around talking and yet customers are being neglected. A table next to us had to literally yelled out to get the server's attention to get their check because they were waiting a long time. When we were done, after waiting for a bit, I asked our server for boxes and our check. She saw that we have 2 big plates of food left to take with us because she even commented when she dropped off the food that we ordered quite a few things because we want to give it a try. After a few minutes, she came back with ONE little box. I looked at my husband in disbelief. Then she was nowhere to be found for the next few minutes. Finally I asked again for more boxes and she came back and said Is it ok if she gives us two small boxes instead of one big one because they ran out. I said yes. After another few minutes she came back and dropped them off. And that's when I realized she only gave me 1 lid for the 2 boxes. I had to get up to the counter and asked for another one. I really don't understand what's going on. I know Denny's is not a fine dining establishment but I believe customer service should be presented no matter where or what the restaurant is. Needless to say we won't be returning to this place ever again. It's sad to me to have to write this because as I mentioned, I'm a food server myself and I tend to give leniency and excuses for my fellow people in the industry but this was something I felt like I need to share and hope the staff would be more aware of things and at least more welcoming for their customers especially in this difficult time.. read more

This "New" Denny's sets a high water mark for all other Denny's in the Vegas valley. The new decor is welcome as most Denny's has worn out the marque as a typical diner. It is a breath of fresh air. The decor is not dated and architecturally modern. The waitress was attentive, and went the extra mile to make a simple dinner a pleasant experience. I was surprised how good the hamburger I had. It was well made and fresh. "In and out" should be worried. What can you say when the restaurant is clean & modern, great service and honestly good food at a price that rivals any fast food joint. WORST experience ever. I ordered curbside delivery since I have a young toddler in the back, I thought it'd be quicker and easier than loading unloading her out of the car. I placed my order, then I called the store once I was there to let them know I've arrive and waiting in the parking lot. I wait and I wait and nothing comes. It has been a total of 35 MINS since I placed my order, I call a 2nd time and tell them where is my order they tell me they couldn't find my car. I am parked so close I can SEE the front doors from my car, and my front door is even wide open to make it easier to find me. The girl working has the audacity to tell me that they're not going to walk around the entire parking lot to search for me.....literally you didn't have to walk anywhere, you just had to open your eyes!!! I am the ONLY GRAY car there! And it's a small parking lot, and the ONLY make and model there is! You guys have my phone number, and nobody called. In 35 mins? Did you even try? On top of that my food was cold and I ordered nachos!! Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have sat down and ate, that would have been faster than curbside!! Buyer beware! read more
