I've probably been here 10 or so times so far. I really like this branch. The staff has always been very nice. The waiters are nice, especially the sharp-looking guy with the half-silver tooth, and both of the night-time managers I've met have been friendly (a lady, and a younger guy). I go to a lot of Denny's, and I think the staff here is friendlier than most. Food has always been good as well. I, nor my date have ever had any issues with the food. read more

We went on a Saturday during prime breakfast time (10am), so to ask for great service is always a stretch. We had this mentality going in but sadly we were still disappointed. Our waitress was Rosemary and she stopped at our tables only a few times; once to take our order, once to drop off our food, and the last time was to drop off our bill. Other than that we had to either flag her down or just deal with our issues. A few of those issues included: Cold food (which I noticed was mentioned in other reviews so this Dennys must think it's acceptable), running out of our drinks and not having them refilled a single time during our meal, and having our order messed up. I wish I could blame this on the restaurant being understaffed or just extremely busy, but sadly it was just poor service. read more

I am from California and I am not accustomed to being greeted and treated like a customer. The staff at this Denny's, especially Marie my waitress, made me feel very welcomed. She was so friendly and nice. This is also a very clean Denny's. I Immediately noticed an employee cleaning everything. He even cleaned the picture frames! I've never seen that done in California. We were seated fairly quickly, took some time before we saw our waitress. We got our coffee with plain creamer, but she brought another table the good creamer. I usually like writing positive feedback but today I'm sorry but, this Denny's is the worst I've ever been to, I took my lil cousins to hopefully enjoy brunch with them. We got seated at 12:08pm and we didn't start eating til 1:09! means we waited so long to actually get to finally eat and yes we were aware of time, because the lil ones are sooooo hungry coz they just got home from their last day of school year(they havent had lunch or snacks yet). The worst thing is? the food is already cold when it got served, but we still ate coz we're too hungry. This used to be our favorite location. This last visit was terrible. The only helpful employee was the guy working as the host. The waitress didn't manage to enter the entire order so not all the food come. Some seemed as though it had been reheated other food was cold. It was only by asking the host that we got any attention after the food was left at the table. The manager wandered aimlessly but didn't seem to interact with employees or customers. Our water glasses remained unfilled. Finally hot a check from the host. 4 stars for customer service! Wanted to grab a bite, my husband had about 2hrs before work..so we stopped. The food took a bit long for simple meals but it gave our family space to chat. I was blown away by our server. Amazingly sweet, funny, considerate and "on it". Any Denny's we enter, we prepare for mediocre service and servers who hardly enjoy their jobs. Recently was impressed with Danny's fit fare menu. I had an egg white omelet came with fruit turkey bacon and was even able to have a gluten free english muffin. Very good. Henderson Eastern Ave location. To be one of the first chain restaurants with a universal menu, consider dairy free options by using Earth Balance soy free vegan butter spread, vegan gourmet cheese shreds, substituting almond or coconut milk for regular milk and dairy free cream cheese and even ice cream! I understand it's diner food, can't expect much; but there are still some great items. My food came out cold. Not once did the server drop by. Just can't say enough good things about it, on account of the fact that I've been going there for about 11 years. Now that I'm an old man, I can appreciate it even more, as I take advantage of their senior deals and I can also use my AARP card once in awhile. I came here specifically for the pumpkin pecan pie pancakes and let me tell your they were delectable. By far the best pancakes I had in a while because of the glaze on top. They. Could have been fluffier but this is dennys people. I'm not expecting five star pancakes but they were pretty good. My grandma is old school and likes breakfast at all meal times especially when you can pick 4 items for under $5. So on this rainy Friday evening this was perfect. Service was great. Restaurant floor , tables and seats are filthy. Food all over the ground, and I'm not talking about bits and pieces. Poor management, only come here for the pancakes as they are really good. I wouldn't give them a chance on anything else though because if the front of the restaurant is filthy I wonder what it's like in the kitchen under this management. Our server was great! read more

Wanted to enjoy a nice Sunday brunch and get the deal of a steal at Denny's $5.99 you get two of each pancakes, sausage, bacon, and eggs. We arrive and we're not acknowledged and finally when we were hostess asks are you waiting to be seating? Strike One. My husband politely says yes and I say I'm not standing here for nothing. He asks for a booth young lady "yes theirs booths, follow me" then says wait. Umm sorry not booths but we have a middle table. ME: no we'll wait. After 10 minutes we get called for a booth. We walk over and a teenager has her feet on the seats just hanging out, Strike two. So we are finally seated after the young lady decides to move. Sadly her and parents had manners as not even her parents told her to move out the way. But whatever. . Server comes right away to get our drink order. Comes back takes our order got two of the specials and she starts to walk off. Me: I'm sorry does it come with toast? She says no and starts to walk away I say can I place an order of toast/white. Server: oh okay. At that point I tell my husband $5 bucks that toast won't come with my meal. Strike Three: Meals arrive pretty quickly. Less then 5 minutes. And would you know it. No toast. Young says anything else. I say just waiting on my toast. She looks at check and walks away. I end up waiting 10 minutes food got cold until we see our server and ask for toast. Food: Even though my food got cold their food is always yummy. Never a complaint from me on their food. Denny's always has great food. Unfortunately their service needs working on. We normally go to the Denny's on Las Vegas Blvd. but my husband wanted to visit this one as their service is good. Hah obviously that has changed. Hopefully they can get better servers and host.
