My husband & I had this delivered. The seasoned steak was unbelievably good. The steak Came at the temperature I requested. My husband like the Chicken fried steak. Love me some Denny's! Took my Nana here after a visit to the hospital to visit a loved one and we enjoyed a nice afternoon lunch. Food was delicious as always, not busy so was able to enjoy a calm environment other than a wild woman who came in with nothing but entitlement. Our server Jean handled it very well, calmly and gave us exceptional service. I did not get the name of the Shift Manager who had fully handled the situation as well but she was graceful and handled a horrible customer in a great manner. Only giving a 3 star because of our waitress but the manager "Debra" was so rude. I found a small bug in my food and she claimed she never seen any small bugs or mosquitoes in the dennys and it's strange there was one in my food. I didn't think she would come to us and argue with us. I actually did want to finish my food was good but it grossed me out there was a bug. I did not like her attitude towards me at all. Well, this days is pretty bad every time I go in there it's just awful. I got one sausage that was good. The other one was like a petrified rock. The omelette was disgusting. It's almost like they scrape the grill all the crap that they throw away and just mixed it with our eggs it was so gross. It's such a disappointment that they have cooks that just don't give a shit. They really need to fire all the cooks at this particular Denny's on country club and southern in Mesa, Arizona because they don't give a shit about anything. It's just awful. Breakfasted here on Tuesday. Frank was our friendly and attentive server. We came in for the Grandslam Special... about 1/3 of it's normal price. The restaurant was pretty quiet for how busy it was. Used to go to this Dennys because we had a waitress we enjoyed. She seems to be gone. Miss you Crystal. Went in today and the manager very unfriendly. Sat us in a booth and said he will be with you soon. Sat for a few minutes no biggie. He came took our beverage order. Came back with our drinks took our food order. Brought out our food shortly after. Missing a plate of pancakes, said they would be right out. First look at my plate a puddle of grease sitting on the side. The hash browns looked like leftovers from breakfast. It is noon. Then the second plate of pancakes came out and they were big fluffy and golden brown. The first plate looked like old test pancakes. Small and not browned at all. Very sad. The waiter never came back except to bring the bill. read more

AMAZING. Regina was knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients of each meal. She made my 10 year old feel confident while ordering. Regina was great at keeping up on checking in with us, and was a smiling beautiful hostess during our visit. NOTE, the cooks today were put of this world with kicking out good, hot, delicious food. On December 13th, at approximately 8:30 p.m. my husband and I went into the Denny's at the 1210 East Main Street location in Mesa. We sat down, were given menus by the waitress. Waitress took our order and drinks. we waited 45 minutes for our food to come. We ordered a Grand Slam, fish & chips. a coke and a vanilla shake. when my wife received her grand slam, half-way through the mail she found a hair in her scrambled eggs, the toast was hardly toasted and the bread was stale. Another customer told us this Denny's was short staffed tonight. We never received our bill, so we went up to the front to pay. our bill came out to $ 43.39' we're not complainers, we did not mention the hair in the food, probably should have. however, we did not tip. We in all likelihood, won't be going back to this Denny's location. they keep changing staff at this location. we asked a different waitress if they we're looking for a cook, she said I don't know, i just got called into to work. read more

Went in for a super late night dinner the other night. The server who greeted us was in such a great mood and was a great server. The area we sat in smelled amazing and was exceptionally clean! They didn't have a cook that night, so it was the manager in the back BY HIMSELF cooking all our food. Props to him. He was keepin his cool so well and our food didn't take forever to come out either. It was amazing food btw, all of it. He did an amazing job. And seriously, shout out to him for running the store and the kitchen by himself. I know the times are hard with people not wanting to work and I'm thoroughly impressed with how good the food was, how fast he was and how composed he was. Had some extra time between clients on Sunday, so we stopped in to get a quick bite. Waitress named Crystal served us! She was the cat's meow! She was informative about menu items, attentive to her customers, pleasant attitude and checked on us frequently. We laughed with her several times about random conversations but that just made her more personable and human! This actually has the best food. i can't say for the outside it's a little dirty they could use some power washing on the sidewalk, but this actually has the best food.
