Went there for a change of pass with a couple of my college buddy's and got to say!!! Loved it!!! The waiters were nice and extremely helpful. Now this was my first time and we were having breakfast and I love me some eggs so I got the lumber jack: some pancakes hash brown eggs and sausages. The food was amazing. The eggs were scrambled as I had requested and had just enough slat not to taste to salty but to compliment the rest of the food! The pancakes were big and fluffy and around the edges a little crispy but not to crunchy. The sausages were really juicy but not to juicy to the point of meat juice flowing out. After that I had order some water but now after eating some of the food I wanted something to drink so I ordered a milk shake. THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A MILKSHAKE!!! it was creamy and milky almost like a smoothie until u get a sip of the ice cream underneath that game changing taste hit home all to well. After that the staff went to go pick up the check and as the came back the had noticed I had on a videogame shirt and recognized one of the characters! The spoke up and told me that I had a good taste not only in food but in gaming as well... This place was great! The staff made me feel comfortable and the food made me feel fantastic. I have found that I don't typically like Denny's for anything besides breakfast. I will usually go for the 'Build Your Own Grand Slam', but I was feeling adventurous when I visited this Denny's. I opted for the Bacon Chipotle Chicken Skillet from the 2468 menu. It looked so good in the menu picture, so for $8 I had to go for it. My meal came in a skillet with two sides and a drink. The chicken was good, and far exceeded my expectations. For my sides I got corn and and hash browns, and they were good as well. Overall, it was a really tasty meal, and I was super happy with what I ordered. This was the first time that I can remember eating at Denny's and liking a non-breakfast item. I now know what to get when I don't feel like eating pancakes at Denny's! read more

I can't believe I am giving Denny's a 4 star. C'mon! It's Denny's! I couldn't even believe I actually walked inside this restaurant. OK... It was around 11pm, I was getting gas around the corner and I got really hungry and lazy to find another place to go when Denny's was just right next to the gas station and it's got that $2, $4, $6, $8 promotional banner hanging in front. We walked in totally expecting crappy food and service. I've actually been to this Denny's a couple times before and each time it was just awful. I didn't know how they could make any food taste so cheap and so bad. I was very surprised that this time it's totally different for me. We got the $6 Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich (that came with sides and we chose spinach so it's healthy). It tastes really good! The chicken was tender and juicy. The BBQ sauce was made just right. The fries were "meh" but oh well... We also go the fish filet with hashbrown. This one was ok. Fish was tender and juicy but lacks flavor. For dessert, we got the Maple Bacon Sundae. Yup, you heard me. They actually put Bacon in the Sundae. I ordered it out of curiosity but it turned out to be amazing. At first I couldn't really taste the flavor of the bacon pieces. After the ice cream melted in my mouth and I started chewing on the bacon the flavor came out really nicely. Our waitress that night came to our table many times making sure we got everything we need and asked for our opinions on the food. She was probably the nicest waitress I met at Denny's. Wow, I havn't been in here since high school. My dad wanted pancakes and said we should go to denny's since it's been a while for the both of us. Everything is still the same as I remembered it but they took out the jukebox. I was hoping to hear "Surfin' Bird" like in that episode of family guy. Hey, don't you know that the bird is the word! Service was alright, but my main comment is on the food & the chef. Why would you even have a choice of being able to create your own meal and not be on top of your game ? One of my brother wanted to build his own skillet, and when his order came, there were atleast 4 of the items he wanted was missing from his plate. With Denny's restaurants, you pretty much know what you're going to get. The menu and food tastes consistently the same from location to location. This branch was no different than any other. What is different from location to location is the service and cleanliness. For this branch, the service was fine and the cleanliness fine as well. This Denny's is by far one of the worst Denny's I've been to. My sister and I were craving nachos but not just any nachos, Denny's nachos, so we dropped by. We ordered nachos and saw their bacon mac n cheese bites and decided to try them out. The mac n cheese balls came out first and we waited and waited for our nachos to come out. The table behind me got their nachos so we figured it would come out soon. We kept looking over and saw a plate of nachos at the bar area waiting to be picked up for service. We didn't want to assume it was our nachos but it might be. Turns out it was. When we got it, it was warm to luke warm. Very disappointed. My sister and I were splitting the nachos so we asked our waitress for plates. We were comparing her to the waitress at the table behind me because she automatically brought plates to them when they got their nachos. She should have known. However, the plates never came. We watched her going around refilling coffees and talking to the other servers. We eventually had to ask a manager to get us plates (we already finished half the nachos). Bacon mac n cheese bites were dry and very salty. Blah. I don't think I would be coming back to this Denny's. It was Easter Sunday so that might explain the long wait for us to receive our food but it's no excuse for our waitress to blatantly ignore our request. I try to avoid this Denny's for late night. Mornings have good service but late night, it's goes way downhill. The food is the same, Denny's food. It's just the service that's really bad at night. I haven't been to this (or any) Denny's in ages, but my Dad dragged my Mom and I there this morning because it's his Birthday and he received a free "Make Your Own Slam" breakfast coupon. When we got there, I was surprised to find a bustling fully remodeled restaurant. Not too shabby. I ordered the special Blueberry Slam which comes with 2 whole wheat blueberry pancakes, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, 2 eggs, and a cup of fresh fruit for $6.99. As I was eating it, I was thinking that the portion was quite large and the food itself was pretty tasty. The blueberries in the pancakes were plump and juicy and the pancakes themselves were doughy, moist and well prepared. The turkey bacon was decent (not crispy enough for my taste though), I ordered my eggs over medium, but they came out over easy, and the fresh fruit cup consisted of cantaloupe, strawberries and grapes - again not bad, but not superb either. In terms of the service, the waitress was attentive and ensured my Dad did not see the bottom of his coffee cup. I was considering rating this place a 3, but I just couldn't do it, there are just too many other breakfast places out there which are better for a similar price, so although this Denny's was probably better than any other Denny's I've been to, it still is what it is... This was our first time dining back in and we had a very pleasant experience. Although they didn't have the full menu and were out of my fave cinnamon pancakes, our server Armando was exceptional in his customer service and suggested quite a suitable replacement of berries and bananas, which I enjoyed almost as much as the highly coveted cinnamon pancakes. I went to this Denny's with 4 other friends and received terrible service. Our server Adrianna was not attentive to our table. I ordered my dish with gravy on the side and it did not come until halfway through meal. The toast came late at the same time as the gravy.. never got my refill on my drink in fact I received my bill before I could even ask for another drink. This was the last time I ever go to Denny's. The three times I've come, they took forever to my party down and when they do they just never come back to take orders. This last time it took 10 minutes for anyone to come sit us down. Then we wait 20 minutes and notice that the only waiter on duty is constantly talking to one table (probably their friend). The last straw was when the people who were seated after us were attended first. Had to walk out the last two times before that as well. Ended up going to the IHOP near ELAC. WAY BETTER SERVICE.
