PLEASANTLY Surprised! WOW! I have moderate to low expectations national chain restaurants close to major tourist attractions but this Denny's was G R E A T ! ! ! I was quickly seated and was greeted by 3 hostess'/wait persons in my 30 ' walk from the front door to the table, too. I was not rushed. When I placed my order my waiter repeated it back and said it would be out shortly. It was out within 10 minutes. During that time he asked twice if I needed anything. My breakfast came out and it was fresh hot and flavorful. Dare i say, cooked to perfection. I could not have been happier. I was impressed enough I left a $5 tip on a $10 tab! Went here for breakfast at the beginning of a long day. Despite being very busy we were promptly seated. Our hostess Angel was the nicest server we had since being in this tourist area. I had the Lumberjack Breakfast and Wifey had an egg white veggie omelette. They were chintzy with the hash browns on my plate but loaded my wife's plate. Food was OK, but it's Denny's. Something I noticed while visiting Orlando is restaurants seem to be more courteous and have better food on the West Coast. I would come back to this one though. read more

I went with the French Slam and was not disappointed. The food was tasty and served hot. Julio checked in on me often for anything I needed. Last morning in Orlando and everyone was pretty exhausted from vacation (that's ironic isn't it?) Before the LONG LONG drive home back to reality, the group collective decided to grab some hearty breakfast (at 10:30 AM) on the way out. This Denny's right off the highway and easily accessible. Right off the bat, we killed that first pot of coffee, while waiting for the refills we slowly received our foods. Blueberry pancakes were pretty good, but breakfast potato skillet wasn't such a good choice before taking the helm on this long voyage home. Now thinking in retrospect, the service was on the slow side, but everyone was feeling a bit lethargic so it worked out at the time. read more

The service here in a busy morning was fabulous. Waitstaff arrived within minutes and the food was out in under 5 minutes and was hot. The make your own grand slam is a great deal. More than enough food for a cheap price. I also like that the food was brought on separate plates so nothing touches. I hate when food mixes. The grits were a let down. Being from the north I generally do not get them so whenever I'm in the south it is a must order. They were watery and had no flavor. The restaurant need to be fixed. An American staple in the late night food industry. Have visited many Denny's across the east coast and all are quite the same. The menu hasn't changed over the years... The fries with honey mustard are my go to late night snack and this location severed them hot and fresh. The server was courteous and professional. read more

It's a Dennys, what can you expect? What I did not expect was asking for cheese on my hashbrowns with my plate and getting raw hashbrowns with cold cheese on top. I don't mean raw as in undercooked but raw as in pulled out of the fridge, thrown on my plate and a handful of cold cheese thrown on top. This on a plate with eggs and ham. I had to argue with the waitress that the food was raw. She took the plate and it looked like they replaced it with actual cooked, edible food. Not a word of apology from either waitress or manager that she spoke with. When we come back to Disney World we'll make sure to give this awful example of a Dennys a wide berth. Let me start off by saying that Denny's is Denny's no matter where you go. With that being said, this is one of the worst locations ever. I understand that many tourist come here, but today we sat there for almost an hour while we waited for our food. The waitress was nice and although she was just trying to clear her tables as fast as she could, she kept her cool whenever she did come to our table. They sat us in the back by the kitchen and all we heard were the cooks and the waitress fighting with each other. Everyone that came in before us got food before us. We came in here every morning while we were in town for business and fun. Every morning we had Meghann (sp?) and she was outstanding. She would see us coming and have the coffee on the table waiting for us. We generally ordered the build your own grand slam breakfast, and it came out hot and as ordered every morning. When we are in town, this is our breakfast spot. Note that this location is right near one of the entrances to Disney World--on the Downtown Disney side. If you are staying off Disney property and want something other than a hotel breakfast, this is a good option. We have visited this area twice in the last six months and always had breakfast here. Yes, it is chain food, but it is hot and served up with good service. read more

We have eating breakfast here twice on our trip to Orlando. The food was great both times. Both our servers where great also. Food came out quick and hot. Also kids got an extra treat the second time from a lady name Jessica. Our server the second time was Jancie she was very attentive. It's Dennys, at Disney practically. Anyone walking in here expecting five star dining should not be writing a review. That being said, the place was packed, fifteen minute wait to be seated. Took fifteen minutes as stated. Our server, Meghann C., was friendly, animated and fun. Food didn't take long, everything was good. We stop here on our way out of Disney on every trip. Occasionally, a mistake is made, but never anything to complain about publicly. We will definitely be back. read more

My waitress was rude as hell. I asked a question about one of the menu options (very nicely by the way, i'm a waitress myself and try to be kind) i asked if could sub a pancake for a waffle because i wanted the chocolate chips and bananas. she explained that there was a waffle meal with sides. i asked if it would be possible to add the bananas and chocolate chips, her whole demeanor towards me changed. all i did was ask for a chocolate chip waffle with bananas. willing to pay the difference. she said "i mean i can try" and walks away. she comes back to ask if we (fiancé and i) would like more coffee. we say yes please she fills his up nice and then slams my cup down in front of me. she brings out the food, puts my plate of sides on the table and hands me the waffle plate with no caution that the plate is hot. (feel like this was intentional because of the way she acted towards me after i asked the question). she then makes comments about how "you're not even gonna eat your waffle" when i literally ate half of it. i just felt like she was unnecessarily rude. next time just go to ihop. read more

Placed a delivery order that was around $70 for my team at work. We never received the order as it was delivered to the wrong location. I have been sending emails and trying to get in contact with them for almost 2 months and they have barely responded. Terrible customer service and I'm still out $70. Can't comment on the food because we never got to try it. read more

We came here after leaving the Waffle House just up the street bcuz the waitress half wiped the tables with a sour towel. The bacon was burnt on everyone's plate. The coffee and smoked sausage was barely warm. My over medium eggs were over hard and speckled with char from other foods fr the grill. Also I've never had such a small portion hash browns from IHOP ever, not to mention they were also speckled with old grease and char from the grill. I wish I had taken a picture to show I'm not exaggerating or being super picky. This place is near a major highway and numerous hotels/resorts and this quality of food is unacceptable! The waiter went back and forth with my mother in law over the burnt bacon and cold coffee. The manager came and apologized and gave 20% I recommend avoiding this place at all costs. They need to spend some money on good coffee... very weak. Lastly, if inspected they will definetely fail as the male bathroom did not have soap in any of the three soap containers. I came in at about 10pm on Friday night and it was pretty dead. There was a long line of people waiting to pay, and no hostess or cashier in sight. About 10 minutes into waiting, a woman came up and asked if everyone was paying, I stated no, and she just kept doing what she was doing. A guy finally brought us to a booth and said the server would be there soon. About five minutes later, the same guy came back and took our orders (drink and food). I specified that I wanted the app sampler with mozz sticks, onion rings, and chips and queso and my wife ordered the super bird with hash browns instead of fries. Anyways, he brought our drinks and walked away, then brought the food a couple minutes later (like i said, it was dead inside) and instead of saying anything when we said thank you, he just walked away. I notice that I have no queso for my chips (that weren't fully cooked), my mozz sticks taste like crap, but at least the onion rings were good. So I'm waiting for the server to come back to I can ask for queso, but he avoids our table at all costs, he looks at least 10 times but would rather play on his phone or talk to other coworkers. I finally ask a different server if I could get the queso for my chips and he says he'll let my server know. he comes back a few minutes later with what looks like melted pepper jack cheese and pizza sauce. needless to say, neither tasted good. Finally brings the check, puts in on the table and walks away, again saying nothing to my thank you. So we go to the cashier to check out, and when she sees us walking up, she walks away to talk to another coworker. when she finally comes back, she isn't the nicest. so i pay, and when i leave i realize that she shorted me money in my change. i decided i didn't even care, because they can take it as a tip, because i sure as hell didn't leave one. Not terrible , but not the best either. Whole group ordered Bourbon Chicken Skillets as we were afraid that any other order could have been easily messed up because there was only one cook working. Went to Denny's for brunch this morning... Wish I hadn't. The moment we walked through the door it was disgusting and unwelcoming. The outside was dirty and trash was everywhere. The host "greeting and seating" said it would be about five minutes, which it was, so we went outside since the inside was packed. The server yelled out names out and silly me, I thought he would hold the door open since I was right behind him... Nope... Let the door go and slammed it right on my face. The inside was hot, humid and dirty. We were seated right next to the kitchen where I got to see first-hand the servers going from picking up cash tips to picking up someone's food with bare hands.... GROSS! The Denny's where we live, the servers wear gloves when they are placing food on your plate. The servers looked exhausted, dirty and sweaty. The food came out cold, my hash browns were dry and tiny and we were not offered any refills on our drinks.... Wish we had just gone to McDonald's for our breakfast... Since IHOP had a wait we came here with a party of 10 or so one night and we were refused at the door. This was around 10 PM and the diner was empty. The waitress said she could not accommodate our party. At first I thought she was discriminating us based on our skin color. We all arrived in nice cars so I didn't understand.
