Oh man this place is my favorite breakfast place ! It's close and the service kicks azzz the servers are sooo nice. Coffee refills before you even ask ! I don't know if they have new cooks or there lacking good workers but there service has gone down hill and the food has been lacking or missing so disappointed. My food arrived after my family was done eating and it was wrong. I would say it's a fluke but it was the second time in a span of two days. There wont be a third. Man oh man... I've only been to Denny's a few times in my life, but last night we were craving breakfast for dinner and came here. Best decision ever. I ordered the lumberjack breakfast in which the waitress asked what kind of pancakes I wanted. They had so many to choose from, including fruit like blueberry and strawberry. I went with blueberry. Let me just say... these pancakes were the BEST. They were big, hot, and fluffy!!! I also saw that the pancakes had fresh fruit in them! I've never had pancakes like this. Also, the waitress, Michelle doing the late night shift was on point! She was super attentive and friendly! I couldn't even get half way through my coffee before refilling it. They also made a brand new pot just for me that was decaf. I was very impressed, and will come out here again for an evening breakfast. :D read more

We just left and I would say our service was ok. Tab was $80.30 gave $90.30 in cash and waitress assumed the full $9 was to be kept. Manger do better with your employees. We ended up leaving if you need the $9 more then keep it. Tip is to be offered. read more

If you're going to Denny's you know what you're getting yourself into, it's not five star Cuisine but it's also not the worst thing on the planet. The breakfast is mainly what i come for and it always hits the spot. Also huge H U G E shout out to this location for being the only Denny's to accept EBT. There are closer Denny's to my house and it's frustrating that none of them accept EBT,except this Pico Rivera location. No location in all of alhambra, montebello, monterey park or rosemead do and that is UNACCEPTABLE. So thank you Pico Rivera Denny's you stand out amongst the crowd. read more

This is a very nice Denny's. There is a lot of parking and it is usually not packed. They stay open late, I am not sure how late, you will need to call. The place is super clean. The bathrooms are usually very clean, but they do need to check them more. The area is nice. The food is great. I used to never order anything but breakfast items because their dinners are not great. We tried their new Lasagna and it was just wonderful. It comes with a piece of garlic toast, yum. You will really like it. They also have a new baked mac and cheese and not the junk that they used to have that came out of a box. We loved that too. It was fresh with plenty of cheese. Their breakfast is always great, we love their pancakes and waffles. The service was so very nice and pretty fast. The prices are fair. We will be back. Have fun. read more

I use to go at night. Haven't been in awhile. Went back to find that my favorite server Tim was no longer there. Seriously disappointed. The service is awful here now. You can't even get a soda unless you wait 45 minutes. I was brought the wrong food twice. The table behind me had to wait as well. Seriously where is the service. read more

I had the 55 + Omelette It is like a Denver Omelette, but smaller. It came with hash browns, and toast. I asked for sourdough. My roommate, caretaker, ordered the cheap priced, two eggs basted, two slices bacon, two sausage links, hash browns, and pancakes. I had iced tea, and iced water, he had coffee. I sliced the omelette into two halves, and made breakfast sandwiches with them! Graet food! Great prices! Great service! read more

It's March 3 2026. My son and I are here at Denny's in Pico Rivera where we were welcomed with a Smile from Our fabulous Server Veronica. I know I reviewed Denny's and Veronica 6 months ago, but I need to say it again Veronica was a fantastic. We sat down and we received our coffee, milk and water on the spot, before we could say anything Veronica knew our order, remember she does not write anything down, everything by memory, we can go for days without coming in, but when we do she all she tells us"Same order". I just love this place and the way it's being run these days! For starters, my food is always served the way I want it: what's supposed to be hot is hot and what's supposed to be cold is cold. This morning I stopped by bcs I was craving French toast. I walked into the breakfast frenzy. And I just have to say, the efficiency of this team is incredible! We try to go weekly and the staff always greets us and are friendly. They are professional and service is fast. Especially because they already know our order. Same people that probably leave one star reviews on McDonald's and Jack In The Box Yelp pages lol like come on, you can't expect it to taste like the fresh made mom and pop spot up the street. I will also add if you're too broke to tip, just get it to go and eat it in your car or the parking lot. Allow me to describe the ambiance & my mindset ... it's completely gloomy on this fine Monday and my high school freshman stayed home from school, fighting a flu-like sickness he caught at school on Friday.
