Restaurant doing a lot better they are improving staff I'm glad they are going back up with their service

It's always my go to places to eat until tonight's when we dine in..I did not appreciate the honesty of the workers where I left my Gucci reading glasses at the table ,not too long ago we ask if they happen to see it and they said nope we don't see any glasses. very good food and nice workers they brought out my food fast and it was delicious i will be coming back with family!

It took our waitress about 25 minutes to ask for our drinks and orders and we had to wait another 50 minutes for our meals. Once we got our meals the eggs were undercooked there was a hair in one of the plates and the toast had lettuce in it. They gave us new toast and it was undercooked not to mention the butter not even being spread. This is the worst Denny's I've ever been to and probably the worst in Stockton in general read more

This Denny's location is a bit smaller than what we usually see but we chose it based on location for our road trip. We were seated right away and our server came Over quickly to take our drink orders. We ended ordering everything at once and our food came out quickly as well. Everything tasted just as it should. This was a super family friendly location as well. All around a great breakfast spot. read more

Poor service. Bad timely manner. I arrived with a party of two while their was only one other table in use. About 25 minutes later our server finally took our order after 5 different tables had gradually been occupied and attended. Then while stating our basic orders we waited about another 30 minutes to receive two wrong orders. The server didn't write down our orders accordingly and repeatedly brought out the mistaken plate over three times. It wasn't until we spoke to the manager who was able to retake our order and bring out the correct food that we were finally able to eat. Overall we took about an hour to finally receive and get all of our correct food. read more

Ordered Dennys on a late night hungry hungry deal. When the food was delivered to my home there was a slight issue. When I drove to Dennys to get assistance with my meal correction. I was met with theee best customer service. It was very easy to have my food made to my liking. I must say I was thoroughly impressed with how pleasant Salvadore was. What a treasure Dennys has in Jessica. When we sat in her section she treated us like family. She offered lemon/cucumber waters (yes, at Dennys). She took the time to clarify our order so it wouldn't be wrong. She asked if we wanted sugar free syrup or regular. She asked if we wanted fruit vs fries. She was very attentive. When we checked out she didn't know it was my birthday and she said happy birthday. She said she would have made a big deal had she known, and said her son was born on my birthday too. She was so friendly. What a busy Dennys for 12:30 am, but you'd never know it with this chipper person working there. I'm sure she'll go far! read more

They are always understaffed; which explains why they take so long to answer the phone, greet you, seat you, and attend to you BUT not bill you. Lol I usually order breakfast and their peanut butter pancakes are sooo darn delicious, super sweet I'll tell you that so def no syrup needed. Their regular "buttermilk pancakes" are not the same like they use to be, so now all these toppings are a must. I've also tried their blueberry and banana pancakes which are pretty yummy as well. French toast here with extra powder sugar is a must for me. I don't come nor order during lunch time at this location because your 1hr lunch will fly by waiting for your food and when it arrives it will be cold and/or incorrect.They lack on communication here. And most definitely need to to improve in maintaining lobby and restaurant clean, floors are always dirty. Seems like the morning shift crew moves quicker, in my opinion. Only one way in this restaurant and one way out, parking is eeeehh ok, because it's always busy lol. ****3/2/2017**** As I was entering the restaurant today 3/2/17 Rita was finishing ringing up a customer, the customer apparently left $4 additional with Rita as A tip to hand to the dishwashing lady. I move up next in line and Rita seems to be finishing up on her end and hands the $4 dollars to Cristina which had just approach the counter.Rita tells her the previous customer mentioned it's a tip for the dishwashing lady. I vividly see Cristina pocket the $4 dollars as she's saying "Oooh noo, I don't play those games" and walked away with an attitude! What's more awful is she did not care nor consider I was right in front; I am ANOTHER customer. How is this employee still here?! Only 6 tables full room 10 minutes to order. My pancakes eggs bacon and sausage were cold. I let the waitress know after taking a bite of the bacon they took it back less than one minute i got it back....it was microwaved.. i had spread the butter previously so when it was returned it was soaked. My 1/2 eaten bacon was under the eggs.. Had to request water again and coffee again. Very disappointed. I used to love this place read more

This is the only sit down restaurant within 10 miles of my office. So when friends want to come do lunch with me, this is where we go. Listen, the food is always good. HOWEVER my complaints are about the service. Not that its not there, but that it HOVERS. The last three times I went in I had the same waitress (Janelle, i think her name is) and each time she stands at the table and tells long stories about her personal life that we didn't ask for.. lady, I only have an hour for lunch. I'm all for positive customer service, but when its clear we just want to eat our food, check in and move on please. read more

Ahhhh, Denny's........ on GHETTO CHARTER WAY.... Well, back in the days when friends that moved their own ways out of town come back to their hometown in Stockton to visit, this is one of our spots to gather at. And often they visit on certain holidays like Christmas, Easter, etc. or after certain house parties. Our food was good and it was what we ordered. However I do remember one night were the orders were taking too long and some of the orders were wrong. This had to been around back in 03-04. It may have been management at the time that wasn't doing much of delegating the workload to its employees. But we went a couple of times after that year and it was going smooth with the operations. Again I'd park up front or wherever visible from the window wherever your seated, for your safety. read more
