If I could give this Denny's -1, I would. EVERY TIME we come here, there is nothing but shitty service. We order food, and it takes 30+ minutes for our food to get to us. Tonight, for example, I ordered the philly omelette, and after 30 minutes, the waitress delivered scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, and pancakes to me. It took another 5+ minutes for us to get the waitress' attention to tell her the order was wrong. Unbelievable!! read more

Worst Denny's ever !!! Right next to hotel, so you would think they would be able to manage several tables. When we came in and were only one of a few tables, service was okay. This has to be the slowest and dirtiest Denny's I have ever been to. Worth the drive to go to the one in league city off 45.

I typically do not eat at dennys yet its Christmas eve, its late and me and my Mom thought why not. It wasn't busy yet it seemed too much for the guy to be handling all on his own. The manager seemed to not take an interest in helping the guy take care of tables. She greeted us and made sure everything was generally okay but I felt she could of took her manager role more seriously than drinking tea and chit chatting with others. read more

As is the case with many of the other reviews for this Denny's, the service was poor to bad and the food was not that great. It may be right next door to the La Quinta but take the time to get back in your car and drive somewhere else to get a meal. read more

Stood at the front waiting to be seated. Was ignored by every employee until one came over and told us it would be an hour and fourth five minute wait. The restaurant was not packed, and we were the only customers waiting to be seated. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Arrival time, 9:13pm on 9/5/2016. Departure time, 10:38pm. Food was ordered at 9:22pm and the food arrived at 10:14pm. One adult entree was correct. One adult entree and two kid's orders were wrong. Actually, one of the kid's orders was never brought. There was no update or apology about the length of time nor was there followup from the manager when I spoke with him after he let me know he would check on the food and let me know the status. From my point of view, it seemed like the manager even made a drug deal inside of the restaurant by the "handshake" and the proximity to where him and the "dealer" walked to when they made their special handshake and how fast the gentleman came and left. We were told that when all the food was brought that the kid's entree that was ordered may have been overlooked but the waiter then asked what it was that he ordered. 15 minutes after we received our food and making a note on a napkin to let the waiter know everything that was missing and maybe help him out, he came to ask how everything was and maybe I am just imagining things but it seemed like he forgot about the "overlooked" kid's entree. When I spoke to the manager he gave me a story of one cook (who was not doing anything but just standing there; Another cook arrived around 10:00pm and he began to take on multiple roles [cashier, waiter, cook, bus boy]), playing multiple roles (he spent close to 20 minutes outside on the phone before the "dealer" came). That is just the service; The kid's spaghetti that was ordered was cold, the noodles felt like they were in a fridge overnight. The super bird ordered was not made the way we asked for it. The JR cheeseburger was what never arrived until we went to pay and they had the audacity to ask if we wanted it to go. The T-bone steak and eggs was the only thing that seemed to be correct but because one of the kid's did not receive their food, the food was not going to be touched until everyone at the table had their food but since that never happened, the food was not touched. I got the Country Fried Steak and Eggs with Hashbrowns and Toast to go. Food was ready when I arrived and was delicious. Scrambled Eggs were just right, not too dry and not too moist. Hash Browns were great, toast was as well and the Country Fried Steak with Cream Gravy was awesome. One of the top three I have ever had at Denny's. read more

Service was TERRIBLE. Waited an hour for our food and it wasn't even good when it came out. They blamed it on the kitchen, but the kitchen doesn't make milk and coffee! Terrible customer service. Took 15 min for someone to greet us at the door and seat us. Finally got a table and took another 10 min to get menus and drink orders. Finally brought our drinks out and took our order. An hour later we were brought our food. Waitress said they have been busy all day. This was at noon and there were seats and tables open throughout the store. Never once had a refill. Would not recommend this Denny's read more

Where to begin.....I should have taken the yelpers recommendations.....but as my hotel was right next door and it was 10pm...I thought why not. Indeed! I entered and noticed two tables were full. There were four waitresses and a kid sweeping. Later, I noticed the manager who appeared as though he just came back from a party, his tie was loosened...and he was disheveled. He never ventured to the dining area. He came out from wherever he was and went into the kitchen. So, we get to the register and there is Maria, scowling at us. I tell her I wish to place an order for take out. After, I mention that I was told I get fifteen percent off if I show my hotel key.....before I get the words out of my mouth she sternly advised me it didn't apply to take out. Well, okie dokie then. As I waited, two other people came in for take out.....they waited several minutes to place the order. Apparently, no one else but Maria can place an order because these people were summarily ignored. When we finally get our order, the outside of the to go bag was covered in an unidentifiable brown liquid and my take out containers were in the bag side by side instead of on top of each other. I would have enjoyed the bacon on my BLT crisp, as requested...and a bit of mayo would have made it palatable. My smothered cheese fries were anything but, and they neglected to give me the ranch dressing that supposedly comes with the order. There was only one person in the whole restaurant who was somewhat friendly, but I overheard her telling someone that it was her first night. Wonder how long before she is tainted. So, lesson learned. I am not from Texas, so I don't know if this is the only place in town, but I cannot imagine how the place remains open. It's definitely not what I'm used to when visiting most Denny's. I am amazed that they allow their name to be sullied. I don't live here, so I will most definitely not be returning. Came here to have a late night meal with friends and had terrible service. With only 9 tables in the entire restaurant and 3 servers, it still took almost 2 hours to dine here. We had a waitress who was very inattentive and almost incompetent. I went to the manager to try and get some help and didn't get too much help there. The food was cold. The manager did take some charges off the bill which I appreciated. However, apparently our waitress was informing another table about us and complaining. Two customers followed us out and tried to start an altercation with us. I was cussed at, demeaned, and threatened. I truly felt that my life was in danger. I am disgusted that your establishment would employ such people and even more disgusted that they would continue to serve customers who act like this. I will NEVER return to any Denny's at any location. read more

Terrible food and poor service. It took 30 minutes for two meals. Had to ask several times for silverware, and they never offered to refill our Iced tea. They brought my husband the wrong meal the first time and when they finally brought him the correct meal it looked like leftovers from someone elses dinner. I ordered a salad with oil and vinegar for dressing. The waitress brought me ranch so I asked again for the oil and vinegar. When she brought the o&v caddy the bottles were covered in old yellow cooking grease. I asked for clean bottles so she brought it in separate bowls. Instead of olive oil she brought a bowl of vegetable oil that smelled like an old dirty griddle. When I asked what kind of oil it was she hesitated and then said it was olive oil. I asked to see the container it came in and she came back about 15 minutes later and said there is no container which I thought was strange. Needless to say I did not eat the salad and they did take it iff of my bill. read more
