What can one say about Denny'y that they're consistency with the food and service with me always, I only eat breakfast at Denny's for some reason. They were still practicing social distancing inside, we ate outside with a plastic partition in between each one. We had a three egg bacon and sausage omelettes with avocado plus hash browns, plus cinnamon roll pancake breakfast it came with hash browns,eggs, and two turkey bacon strip, both dishes were pretty good. Our waitress was very friendly plus attentive to our needs, she checked on us twice. I was told the menu is updated twice a year. Who knew Denny's is on the trend of changing and adapting. They even got beyond burger. Anyway, I came here for breakfast and a blueberry pancake did not disappoint. It's comfort food that is tasty at a level that makes anyone feel good. Service is attentive, friendly, and professional. This Denny's is so much better than the one on PCH. The overall appearance from the outside is good and since it is the holidays there were poinsettia plants on each patio table. As soon as we entered we were greeted and asked "How many people in your party. " We were then shown to a booth and given menus. The dining area is spacious with enough room that you don't feel crowded. The person returned and took our order and shortly it was delivered. The food was good and the wait person checked back with us to see if everything was OK. The noise level is just right and it is easy to have a conversation without shouting. There is ample parking in the lot outside. We will definitely return. read more

This morning I ordered hot tea $4.00 breakfast $16 and a side of toast $4.00, the waiter (J.B.) the food was good, it came quickly. But that is were the service ended. Moments after he delivered my food, he placed the bill on the table, without asking me if I wanted anything else. I had to ask for hot water, jam for the toast. When I asked for a second teabag I was told there would be a charge. I really believe if servers want 20% tip they should actually be giving service. What can I say... its a Denny's. They do Denny's things in Denny's ways. Got an All-American Slam which you basically pick 4 items and eat it. Fancy stuff like French Toast costs extra so I refrained and just went with the basics. Pancakes, bacon, eggs over medium, and hash browns. Everything was good and tasty and executed quickly and well. Nothing really spectacular, just a good ol american breakfast. I got to sit right in front of the front door with a beautiful view of the street and people waiting for their table. Never done that at a restaurant before. I LOVEE Denny's, I choose this over IHOP any day, however this location made me decide I won't ever be coming back!! This afternoon wasn't busy there was only one other customer in the establishment. Me and my partner walked in and waited for a second to be greeted, NOPE didn't even get greeted. The manager that was there comes to us looks at us and my partner told him in a nice manner that it was just a table for two. The manager has the nastiest attitude as if he was annoyed we walked in and threw his hands up saying nothing to us to basically sit down anywhere like we got on his nerves. In shock, my partner and I sit a table closest to him to try and make his job of moving around easier. The manager proceeds to put menus on our table still not saying anything and walks away. I'm still in shocked and I look over at my partner and he says that was not the best impression. We didn't even feel good eating there because we didn't even trust the service he gave us before eating our actual food. We didn't even touch the menus and look, instead we got up and walked out. We ended up going to another Denny's 6 mins away and the service was excellent just like the food. Oh whoa is me. Dennis, you have issues. July 3rd brought me and my posse to your door for dinner. The 5 of us were absolutely famished having had only finger food for nourishment the prior 6 hours. So we were ready to pound down. Enroute to your establishment we passed by a number of our old haunts. Sizzler was the first, followed shortly thereafter by Coco's, and Norms was coming up fast. All solid standbys, but Dennys was on tap to garner our hard earned wages on this fine summer evening. As it turned out, we should have stopped short and pulled in to one of the noted three. On first look, it looked like Dennys was stepping up to the plate. A sign out front touted that they now served beer, wine, and cocktails. Way to go Dennys! We soon found out however that their drink menu consisted of 4 types of beer, 3 wines, and 2 cocktails. I don't know about you, but to me it didn't seem worth printing a special menu let alone posting signs outside. So it doesn't look like we were going to get plastered at the local Dennys. LOL, could you imagine, Uh sorry officer, we got a little carried away indulging at Dennys. That's OK sir, I'll put you in with the crowd I picked up at Coco's. So it's time we discuss service and food. Do I have too?? Yes Alex J, you must. That's what you get paid for. Paid? I don't get paid for this crap. Enough already, get on with it. Ok, here goes. The service was attentive but slow. So slow that it gave us time to let our minds wander and notice some of the anomalies that Dennys had to offer. There were two servers who caught our eye. One had pink hair and the other blue. I told the ladies that they were probably used for gender reveal parties. It took forever to get our food to the table, and when it finally arrived, well, it arrived. Some of it should have stayed in the kitchen. The ladies all had the wild caught Salmon. The only thing wild about that Salmon must have been how it was prepared. Two portions were dry, and the other two were acceptable. And dig this, I ordered a Philly Steak omelet, but was served a bacon and sausage omelet! I made do and didn't send it back. Had I done so the Salmon eaters would have been ready to swim upstream before I got my first bite. At the end of the meal we made our server aware of the dry fish and wrong omelet, thinking she would make an adjustment to our bill. Sure enough, an adjustment was made. BUT NOT IN OUR FAVOR!! It appears that our buddy Denny doesn't allow the patrons to decide on what a fair tip should be. They automatically add a 20% tip to the bill. No adjustment for their mistakes. But still they get tipped as if everything went well. You gotta hand it to em, they've got balls. Of course they do, after all the place is called Dennys. Quick Tip: We went on the 3rd of July. Maybe we should have waited a couple days. There's always the possibility that it would have been blown up on the 4th. read more
