Ordered takeout from here on 12/22/20. My husband and I both ordered the 2 meat combo which comes with 2 sides at $17.50 a pop. We each ordered the brisket and chose brisket for the 2nd meat selection. We were seriously disappointed by the stingy servings. By the amount of meat we got it was pretty obvious that they just gave us one serving instead of two. The brisket was dry and what wasn't dry was disgusting fat. And the sides were tiny. My husband wanted cornbread with his meal, but they gave him a dinner roll which he's allergic to, which is why he ordered the damn cornbread and paid an extra $0.50 for. For a chain, the barbecue isn't bad. It's decent. The service is great. Most of the complaints I am seeing are a result of them taking excellent covid precautions that are for everyone's protection. I am going here more since they are being so thorough and extra cautious unlike half of the neighboring restaurants. Yes, it may take a little longer to get your order taken since the down the line format is prevented, but overall it's worth it to ensure you won't get a virus that could kill you and your family and friends. read more

Ive been many times to the Scottsdale location. My bf loves Dickeys so we've gone plenty times. Dickeys always fails to wow me though. The meats all have a similar taste. My husband and I went to the Metro Center branch for lunch. We both got the pulled port plate; the pulled pork was cold, my fried okra came out fine, but I had to ask for the ranch dressing, which must have stressed out the lady. What a disappointment. Service was slow. The Pit Master would lift his hat, touch other things then go right back to touching and cutting meat without ever changing his gloves. The crew working didn't seem like they liked each other much. The meat wasn't even lukewarm and the pulled pork was dry, like it had been sitting out for awhile. Ordered from this store at Metro center three times; first time they forgot a meal and some sides and refunded the entire meal when I complained. The second time when I got there to pick it up, they informed me they were out of beef and chicken (They could have called) and that they always seem to run out on a Sunday (Seems like a simple solution to make more). I placed an online order at this location today. While the online order process was smooth that was the end of my good experience. I showed up a few min before my scheduled pick up time and there were 2 other customers already waiting. When I approached the counter and gave them my name the cashier told me it would be about 5min. As other customers picked up their orders there seemed to be a common theme of orders missing items and/or incorrect orders. Also at one point during my wait the staff noticed order tickets had fallen on the ground by the register. When my order was done it was 20min past my scheduled pick up time. I decided to check my order to make sure everything was right and I'm glad I did. They didn't give me the correct amount or flavors of sauces that I paid extra for. Also they gave me chopped brisket when I ordered sliced brisket. This place seems unorganized at best and there were several times when the staff there seemed incompetent and just stood around while one person processed orders for customers who were clearly annoyed with the wait. read more

It's close to my work so I come by as frequently as I've got time to for a quick bite to eat with great flavor. Adetrius is at this location it was always super nice to me. Gross. I ordered this on door dash. The portion was super tiny whatevs we were hungry. The pulled pork was beyond salty. The ribs were burnt to H, and the beef brisket was dry dry dry and so salty. The Mac n. Cheese was watery and sides were so small. The jalepeno sausage and the bread were actually very good. The best part of this experience was the door dash delivery. Today I had the best experience I've had at any Dickey's in the Phoenix area. The ladies on shift, Sabrina C., Makel, Delani and Shannen, were very helpful and accommodating. They also had everything on the menu (some of the other Dickey's I've been to ran out of various items). After ordering, they helped me carry my son's order to the table. The food was hot, the brisket moist and the fries crispy! Then when we were leaving, it was raining. One of the ladies was kind enough to carry us out some ice cream while I put my son in the car. Really good. Tried it for the first time last night and its very comparable to Dillons. The staff was very friendly and I was greeted warmly upon entering. The atmosphere is very laid back. I had the ribs and brisket. My sides were bbq baked beans and waffle fries and corn bread. The were a perfect mix of sauce and fell of the bone easily. The brisket ranked up there with some of the best I've ever had. Baked beans were okay but the waffle fries were dynamite.Excellent corn bread too. I understand establishments get busy but when you charge close to 17 dollars for pulled pork on sub bun and ontop of that give me no sauce? Just dry salty flavorless pork on a a thick chewy sub bun? We finally stopped in and boy was it a treat!!! Kids eat FREE on Sunday's plus they had a two meat and two sides special with a roll for $11 which came out to $22 for the wife and I. Grand total with drinks only $29 next time will be cheaper because we got the refillable cups. Their ICE Tea is really good plus there is free ice cream. First visit to Dickey's Barbecue Pit and it was delicious! The establishment is nice and clean and well taken care of. The employees were very nice and the manager Josh was very professional and courteous. I enjoyed the two meat combo plate. Pictures are posted. I'm happy there is a Dickey's Barbecue Pit that is available in the area finally. It took a long time for one to arrive. There hadn't been very many locations for many years. I usually love the brisket at Dickeys. Sometimes I get a brisket plate and sometimes I get a brisket sandwich. I also like the jalapeño beans. However, they have been telling me lately they can't get those right now. I hope they will be able to offer those soon because I don't care for the other beans as well. The mac & cheese is good. I also like the french cut green beens. I think they are tasty. Also, it is nice to be able to have a little ice cream after my meal. read more

It was great food at a very reasonable price and very enjoyable the place was clean and I got free ice cream after my meal! Excellent place I highly recommend it children eat free on Sundays, so if ypur not much for the possiblity of alot children, I'm thinking, you might want to skip Sundays but, if you've got children and are looking to head out forva family meal Sunday's might be great!
