This was mine and my husband's first time coming to Digger's Diner and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere was so positive and fun. When we arrived we were immediately greeted. I could tell there were a lot of regulars as the staff seemed to have known a lot of the customers which is so awesome! We waited maybe 2 minutes for a table to be cleaned and in those two minutes several staff members greeted us. The food was delicious! I wasn't aware the portion sizes were so big and definitely ordered too much lol. I'm so happy to have found my new favorite local diner. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful hospitality. So I started coming two diggers a few months back and we go there every Friday me and a group of fellow classmates and we get the same waitress most the time Kara and she is absolutely amazing she's my most favorite person here other than obviously digger himself he's outstanding and he always is super funny and makes conversation with his customers when he stops by and I absolutely enjoy the family feel of this restaurant. I think it'll be a long-running tradition to come here every Friday with a group of people and they absolutely wait on us perfectly they make sure we're taken care of and they're just the sweetest . The service was really good all the waitresses are beautiful and so friendly! The food was killer, best burgers and very reasonably priced, fries don't come with the burger but they're huge so come with an empty stomach. Ranch is homemade and very very good. Only thing that threw me off was when you order garlic fries they legit put a whole bulb of roughly chopped raw garlic on top. Not what I was expecting when I ordered garlic fries lol but it wasn't that bad just not for me, other than that this place rocks definitely check it out it's my new burger spot. read more

This was my second time dining here. Both times I've loved it. On my second visit, I had an omelet called The Kitchen sink. It was amazing. Our waitress was very friendly, our coffee cups were always full. I also recommend the cinnamon roll. It's large enough to be shared. The only thing that I felt was a little dirty was the restroom. This is most likely my favorite diner in Concord. The staff is so friendly. They all know each other and seem like a family when you enter and are being served. Tonight I came in with my mom sister and grandparents. We love this place. We always get a milkshake and split it between two people. Heads up though it cost an extra 50 cents to split your shake. My favorite is Oreo! I've tried others and they are good also but I always come neck to Oreo. The menu offers vegetarian options as well as a lot of semi-vegetarian options which is awesome since I can not eat red meat. There are many items to choose from. Tonight I went for the TYTL and split that with my mom and got a side of curly fries to share with the table. Wow! This sandwich was awesome. What really made it was the Texas toast! The curly fries are always a go to. Another heads up is if you order extra dressing like ranch that is an extra charge. read more

i've been going to digger's diner in concord california for years. it's own by one of their waitresses who just took it over in 2019. the food is great for the price you pay, the service is excellent. i whole heartedly recommend you go visit digger's diner in concord . make sure you check hours because saturday & sunday they close at 3:00 pm. they are closed on major holidays like easter etc. read more

This is the best diner around. It will taste you back to some of your best memories Do you remember that homemade ice cream and shakes from back in the day; cold, frosty, thick, and that flavor....oh my gosh?! Even the to-go shakes stay frosty all the way from Concord to San Pablo. And if it's too much to eat, put it back in the freezer and take out later for a snack and it taste like they just made it. Very mixed meal- ordered for pick up - Bacon Cheese burger ( Bacon was way under cooked-over mayo and must) cooked good , asked for veggies on the side- forgotten ( not in bag) tried to pick the meat off the uncooked fatty bacon but gave up. And I live Bacon. One star burger at best. Waste of money. Feel like calling. Curley fries were perfect, hot, crisp. Chili cheese burger was perfect. Cooked med ( perfect, chili was good. Great place for some breakfast. I've been a few times and had the French Toast. Very very tasty. Just the right amount of powdered sugar and cinnamon. Eggs taste great. Bacon is very crispy, which works! I've had the waffle which was very good. The s'mores pancakes were a little disappointing (although my friend had those and not me).
