It took my delivery nearly 2 hours, though I live relatively close. I had to pay a small order fee, delivery fee, and did an automatic tip only to receive cold food. The fries were soggy and had some moisture to them. I can tell they were probably a couple hours old. My quesadilla was cold so I had to microwave wave it. I loved finding a place dedicated to quesadillas. I got a pretty basic quesadilla with beef and cheese and got the queso fries which were the so simple but sooooo good. For a fast food spot, the queso was damn good especially over french fries. Not a bad spot. So very frustrated! This was a great, fast place. I am Muslim and we do not eat Pork. It is also our fasting month, fast from dawn till dusk. We placed the order online, which was great because of ease. I ordered 4 quesadillas. I wanted the buffalo chicken quesadilla, online it gave me the option to select no back from a drop down. I also wrote on the comments, please no bacon. My husband also ordered the beast and put specifically no bacon. Anyways, we pick up our order and take it home. After breaking fast, I took a big bite into mine and realized it has bacon in it. Thankfully my husband's did not. I called immediately- and the general manager called me back. She said they can replace my order and I can come pick it up....so I would have to drive 15 minutes to go pick up my order. I said no as it was late and I was hungry. This place is bomb, plain and simple. If you like quesadillas or anything even similar then you need to stop in. The interior is small and super casual but has a cool Mexi-retro vibe. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food is legit. Average quesadilla is probably between $6-7, mine was $13 though. Go big or go home, right? Haha. Set up is similar to a fast food style restaurant. Go up to the counter, order, wait for your food and then go sit down. Don't be mistaken though because the food is anything but fast food quality. I ordered the FLUFFY without pico in the 'gorilla' size and boy they aren't kidding. A gorilla probably couldn't eat that entire thing, it's massive. The steak, queso, and fries (yes, fries) in the quesadilla were all excellent. Love the dipping sauce it comes with for free too. I was in and out within a total of 30 minutes and still had food leftover. Can't beat that! I'll definitely be back. YUM. read more

Who doesn't love quesadillas?! I've seen this place and have been wanting to try it, but since I don't live close I finally had the opportunity, and... It was good, didn't blow my mind, but they have hatch green chili and that made me happy! Any way let's talk about this experience because it's worth noting! We went in around 730p on a weekday, they seemed fairly steady... as soon as we walked in the person who appeared to be the manager screamed for the register person who then appeared but never greeted us as the manager noticed and made her aware that's what she should do (she still didn't), anyway since it was our first time there we made her aware that it might take us some time to look over the menu and take everything in (as she remained blank at the register). We eventually decided on the founder and the lone star with green chili! They both had the flavor profile as advertised and my addition of green chili add a nice and necessary heat to the founder. Fun fact: you can also get your quesadilla as a salad or with a bean spread instead of cheese... so that's pretty awesome!! Overall I like this place but the manager yelling at the register girl was off putting... I understand both sides, she wants to ensure the customer comes first and their needs are met but there are better ways and teachable moments that don't involve belittling an employee and making a customer feel incredibly awkward. read more

Great food, great prices and great service. I had the buffalo chicken quesadilla and a side of chips and queso. The golden brown quesadilla was flavorful with a good kick from the buffalo sauce. The blue cheese dipping sauce, that came with the buffalo quesadilla, complimented the spicy quesadilla well. The queso was creamy and had a great consistency(not too watery). Stopping in the inside décor is pretty trendy.. Looks Austin style trendy. I arrived around lunch time and there was long line at drive through so I decided to go in. There was a slight line inside but it movedd pretty fast. There were plenty of seats and the wait staff immediately cleaned off tables as people left allowing for easy seating. We came here on a rec from a couple of our co-workers. I didn't know what to expect since I haven't heard of a restaurant that primarily does quezadillas but Dillas blew our group of 6 away. The food here is so good, but I am consistently disappointed when I go. The food may be great but the service is always slow at this location, and the employees seem like they don't want to be there. I drive about 10 minutes just to go here. One recent time I realized they messed up my order when I got home. They had closed by the time I got back so I called to tell them it was wrong and what they could do for me. They took down my information and said they would send me an email which I never got. This place is legit. The quesadillas recipes are really well thought out and each one is really good, but my favorites are the Lone Star and the Hot Hatch. Ingredients are always fresh and their brisket is smoked in house, so it's super tender. We came recently with some friends and it was fast, friendly, and downright delicious. I love quesadillas, but every time I want one I have to go to a full service restaurant and sit, order with a waiter, wait for longer than I normally want to, tip, etc. Dillas fixes that whole mess. Absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh and tasty. I've never had a flat or watered-down soda from the fountain (shows how much they care for quality!) Employees are all friendly and give exceptional service. I come here at least once a week. I usually order the bluebonnet with double fries or build-a-dilla. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu You can tell this is someone's dream and judging by the quality it's easy to see the high standards at Dillas. I only wish they would go back to their biodegradable (instead of styrofoam) for their to-go containers I always bring friends here, and not a single one has ever been disappointed. Updating - honestly soooo good. So much better than my previous review I'm glad I chose to come back and try it again. I really appreciate management/owner reaching out to correct our problem. My husband loved his fluffy dilla and of course I loved the regular queso! There were definitely still some customer service issues but I think training could help with that. Super upset because I ordered regular queso and they gave me just whatever they had leftover already made and charged me for the primo queso. I cannot have avocado so I went home and couldn't eat something I paid six dollars for. Not only could I not eat it because of the avocado, my husband said it was cold. Great -_- read more

Stopped in for dinner. Wife ordered a Build-A-Dila with chicken, cilantro, and mushrooms. I ordered a Build-A-Dila with beef, cilantro, pico-de-gallo, and mushrooms. Wife also got fries and buttermilk ranch x2. I ordered a large chips and queso to share. So to start, and the reason for stars off is screwing up the order for the 3rd time in a row. This time they made my dilla twice, and not the wife's. Last time was a forgotten ingredient on mine. And time before that wife's was missing an ingredient. The entire problem stems from them trying to make the order while you're ordering. It's stupid. There's a reason ticketing systems are in 99% (generalizing) of restaurants; it works and helps cut down on errors. Anyways, my dilla was good. My style dilla was too greasy for the wife. Fries were good. Queso is different. It used to be more white, runny, with a slice of avocado. Now it's yellow, thicker, and no avocado. No complaints, just noting the change. The chips were unevenly seasoned and very thick. Finally, it was missing an extra ranch. I'm the end, very friendly people, with good food, assuming they don't screw it up. By far one of my favorite places to eat! This is one of the few places I am willing to drive 40 min to get food from! I crave their fries dipped in queso. All of their quesadillas are to die for...but the lone star has to be a favorite of mine! The jalapeño ranch is to die for as well. I ALWAYS talk about this place to my friends, and wish they would open a location on UNT's campus because it is great quality food for a great price! I pass by this restaurant quite often and decided to try it for the first time, ordering to go on the drive thru. You know when you go to a place and feel cheated? Something is really wrong with their pricing... Let me explain: The drive thru attendant was super nice, I told her it was my first time here. I ordered the Founders (steak, mushrooms, bell peppers, blend of cheeses). The combo was about $7.80 or something like that but I ordered just the quesadilla. I asked if 1 was enough, since it was my first time and the girl said 1 was just fine. I ended up paying ...$7.20 or so! How is that possible? The combo includes a drink plus 2 sides but the difference in pricing is barely noticeable? But, ok.. no big deal. Then I got home... and inside the box I had 1/2 quesadilla!! In other places quesadilla is 2 tortillas cut in 4 but not here. Surreal. It was not bad, but had very little cheese and nothing to justify the price. The creamy chimi, a sauce that comes with it, it is very good, though. Really disappointed. Usually I do not write "bad" reviews but this one got me. Too bad, not coming back. read more

Awesome restaurant with extremely friendly staff and a ton of food options. I was shocked by how many different types of quesadillas could be made! The oinker was fantastic, as was the hatch chili quesadilla. Overall great place to grab a quick lunch. I disagree with other posters that said portions were small. Comparable prices to canes, sonic, 5 guys etc. Also, for $2 more, you can "gorilla" size your meal which essentially doubles what you get. Will definitely be back soon. Pretty decent place. They serve made to order quesadillas with fresh ingredients. It is not like they serve champagne and lobster. I had the Build Your Own combo- chicken, mushroom, and spinach. With Jalapeño Ranch sauce and double fries. And a drink for $8. The 8-inch dillas was tasty. The cheese melted when I bite into it. The sauce was cool and nice. Here's the kicker. The fries were cooked perfectly with skin on. But it was OVERLY seasoned. It looked like the color of a Cheetos. I will be back since it is close to work and I can hit it for fast lunch.
