I come here a lot, more than one maybe should! But I love love love the food! I either get a lone star with chicken instead of brisket or I build my own. It's very good food for the price. I've only gone through drive thru so I have no experience what it's like going inside. But, drive thru is very very quick. Multiple times my food has been ready by the time I get my card back or even before. With no line. Service has been excellent every time I've gone. I suggest giving yourself a little more time than planned if you go during a rush time like lunch during both weekdays and weekends. Just incase it's not as quick. Although the food was relatively tasty, the service was poor and it was not a good value. I ordered a steak and bleu cheese quesadilla, and my friend ordered his with just brisket. Mine seemed to be mostly cheese, and his had cheese, which he had not ordered. When he asked to have it remade, they tried to argue, and then only brought him half instead of the full order. I love Tex-Mex food so when I found this restaurant I had to take the chance. The selection is pretty good. I got the regular size lone star and buffalo chicken. The lone star was so flavorful....I wish I had gotten the gorilla size . The buffalo chicken was good too but the brisket is my favorite. Really good food, the bbq sauce on the Lone Star is one of the best sauces I've ever had. The first two times I ate here the fries were in the same box as the Dilla and it made the fries really greasy but the 3rd time they were in a separate box so that is much much better. Keep serving the fries separately. Also the fact that you get 2 sides with a combo is great. The place is unique, which is what I love because there's so many of the same restaurants around (I mean over 6 chicken restaurants off the top of my head and countless "grill" places) I like when someone opens something different. read more

We have been anxiously waiting for Dilla's to open near our work. FINALLY the day came~! We skipped the grand opening and went on the 2nd day. I was 4th in line and service was pretty fast. I ordered for myself and a co-worker. I had the Build-a-dilla -- Chicken, Cheese, Spinach~! It was wonderful, large enough to fill me up~! I ordered the Churri sauce for dipping, but (almost made me drop a star, but didn't think it warranted anything that drastic) instead I was given the Salsa as the sauce. I ordered a Large Chips and Salsa, I think they were out of bags as they put it in a styrofoam container but that was fine. The chips are good but that Salsa is Fantastic~! You can definitely tell it is homemade~! This will become a favorite with our group at work~! We've not only eaten at this restaurant & gone through the drive brought (which is incredible for flavor, and freshness for ANY drive through) but we've loved it so much that we've also had them cater for parties! I can't say enough about their food both in house and catered. We ordered more than enough based in our calculations and the companies awesome "peepers on calculator" and all of the food (multiple types of quesadillas, gueso, Salsas, corn salad, limeade- some of which was used for margarita mixers) was gone before the end of the party! We wished we had ordered more because our friends clearly loved it all and couldn't pick a favorite! Corn salsa, yuck tasted like can corn was in a small size but didn't like it anyways. Disappointing sorta for $11 it didn't come with chips, since my side was just salsas. This place was recommended to us by my wife's coworker. Service was absolutely fantastic! They have a meal program to donate a meal for a 30 cent donation, which is fantastic! The Quesadillas were good. They were above average for sure and the sauces were nice. The only bad thing was the ants that were crawling on our booth which we noticed at the end of the meal. It was a scary moment for us because my wife is deathly allergic to ant bites and luckily she wasn't bit but it was not a great experience. Maybe get it to go but definitely check it out! read more

I REALLY wanted to give this awesome place 5 stars. The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal. The thing holding me back from 5 stars was the smell. There was a distinctive gas / propane smell that you could smell throughout the restaurant, and oddly got stronger in the bathroom. I'm hoping it wasn't a leak, but that's certainly what it smelled like. We mentioned it to the employees, and they didn't seem concerned. Not sure how you wouldn't be able to smell it, (everyone in our group noticed) but maybe they're used to it? Anyway, keep up the good work! I'd love to see a Dillas in St. Louis! read more

I came in having visited the company website. There were mentions of great portion sizes and value. Surely they were talking about another restaurant. We came in and ordered two of their Hot Hatch quesadillas, one steak and one chicken. Opted to share a limeade and the gorilla fries. Total price was $20. For two people. Sharing a drink and a side. at a fast-casual restaurant with a drive thru. So I would say the value is not there... On to the food. Too many bacon bits. Way too many. Had I known that I couldn't taste the steak over the overpowering bacon I wouldn't have paid extra for the steak. The portion sizes were smaller than I expected as well. The gorilla fries with queso were decent, but nothing special. Limeade was good. Jalapeno ranch was good as well. Service: meh. Walked in, studied the menu for a moment. It was dead inside, so there wasn't a wait. We were in the middle of ordering when the cashier put a finger up, took an order for the drive thru, then appologized and allowed us to complete our order. We paid and sat down. They called out our order and picked it up at the counter. Interestingly, the next few orders all had their orders delivered to their tables. It's a small place so it wasn't a big deal, but I suppose at that point I was looking for more things to dislike. We ate, bussed our own tables, and left knowing with certainty we would not be coming back any time soon. I might eat here if the prices were about 30-40% less.
