Reliable source for solid dimsum. I've hosted a few parties where we served dimsum for up to 30 and they have been up to task. Quality is on par with most dimsum houses.

Got 1 order of Shrimp Siu Mai, 3 orders of Turnip Cake w/Dry Scallops and 1 Beef & Coriander Rice Roll. The rice roll was good. However, I did not like the texture of the other two items. The Shrimp Siu Mai could have been a little more firmer. The Turnip Cake w/Dry Scallops was a little too gooey for my taste. There are four tables available for dining. Service was very friendly. I went on a Saturday afternoon and parking was a little hectic. Probably because they share the same lot with CVS and Wells Fargo. There is additional parking on the lower level.

everything is made fresh as their claim to fame and indeed you can taste the freshness in the ingredients. Shrimp rice is my favorite so far. Service is ok .

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is shared. Many of the parking spots are small and tight. The lot does get full very easily because it is shared with several other establishments. There is an underground parking area, but that too can be packed very quickly. I recommend street parking to avoid inconsiderate jerks opening their doors too wide and dinging your car. Food: I ordered the har gow (Cantonese shrimp dumpling). So fricken juicy, sweet, and delicious. The shrimps are huge and fresh. It's my favorite dim sum dish ever. I would highly recommend ordering this dish. Staff: The staff here are very friendly and courteous. I will admit that service is slow. I ordered to go and it took them 20 minutes to give me my food. It was only me and one dine in customer. Oh well. I had time to kill anyways. I'm not upset. But if you do come here, be prepared for slow service. They mainly do takeouts. The establishment itself is small, clean, and tidy. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is a $25 credit card minimum.

Didn't know what to expect with such a small place but the line of people was a good sign. Small restaurant with only 4 tables so expect to wait at meal times but worth the wait. Small menu but food was excellent, good portions and at a good price. Definitely would come again

I was looking for a Dim Sum place near me, in San Gabriel and this restaurant popped up. It is a nice small place. The food was okay, nice piping hot as it should. I only bought Har Gow - shrimp and steamed bbq bun. The price is reasonable. It seems like customers prefer buying it to go... maybe because not a lot of seating area. Overall, i am giving it a 4stars. Quick service, okay food, and reasonable price.

All the food items tastes good and even authentic. This place is suitable for to-go as there's very limited seating. The cashier lady attitude might need some improvement. I lowered my expectation on service and they met with my expectation. Just go for the food and grab and go enjoy it at home.

A pretty decent dim sum spot! Not really a sit down place but there are a few chairs and tables if you want to eat inside Parking can be difficult since it's located in a pretty busy plaza Service was friendly and welcoming Most of the dim sum are $5.49/dish and there is a good variety of 15-20 dishes. Har Gow (shrimp dumplings) and it was pretty basic but the shrimp inside was pretty big and tastyl. 3/5 The Shrimp Siu Mai was so delicious filled with shrimp and pork. So delicous without being too salty! 4/5 Chicken feet was ok, nothing special. It was pretty good but I've had better. 3/5 Bean Curd Rolls were decent. It was flavorful but not much ingredients inside. 3/5 Baked Pineapple Custard was mediocre. Not too sweet and not much custard filling. 3/5 It's an ok spot so I might or might not return

This is a to go dim sum place in a busy plaza next to the CVS. There are lots of places to visit once you get a parking space. I ordered. three dim sum dishes while dining at the Macao restaurant today. If you let them know that you will be at the restaurant, they will happily walk it over to you when the food is ready. We ordered steamed beef balls, shrimp dumplings (hai gau), and sticky rice in leaf wraps. Credit card minimum is $25. Our total was $18.16. Good thing I had a $20 bill or else we would've had to leave empty handed. There are many to go dim sum places around. To make this place more competitive or more convenient to patronize, please lower your minimum to $10. Dim sum 3.5 but bumped to 4.0 for the delivery gratis

We're undecided what for lunch, but end up here. This place is small and clean. One thing for sure there dimsun are made from ordered, came out hot.

Congee. One of their best items

I've been here 3 times now. It's not my go to but they have solid dim sum for such a small place. They do tons of take outs and only have 4 tables. I have never been disappointed with the food except for a few items such as the sticky rice wrapped in lotus which could use some more seasoning. $6.99. The usual har low, siu mai, chicken feet are good and large in size. $4.99. I recommend the congee which is loaded with 1000 year old egg and it's thicker than most congee's nearby. Service is lacking. They seem like they prioritize whoever is making the lines instead of those sitting at the tables waiting to place the order. I had to stand up and bring the paper to the lady who kept helping new comers for take out.

I'm not very big on dim sum but my girls wanted to try this place out today, so I tagged along. We got shrimp siu mai, BBQ pork buns, steamed sponge cake, beef coriander noodle roll, and a 3 piece order of beef balls. Since I don't eat pork or seafood, the only things I tried were the: -Beef coriander noodle roll (which was slightly bland). -Steamed spongecake (I liked this a lot, it was really good and not overly sweet). -Beef ball was really good (I think it's their rendition of a beef meatball, except the texture was a bit hard and not as beefy-textured as I'd hoped. Flavor was good though, savory w a hint of citrus). The girls said that the shrimp siu mai and pork buns were good. Initially, we were supposed to get it to-go but the girls changed their minds and decided to eat there. Would've been cool for the food to get served in the cool bamboo steamers. The place is very small, w 4 tables that could barely fit inside. The restroom was... scary, to say the least lol!! I was so scared I just decided to hold it til we got back to the hotel. One complaint I have about this place is that you'd have to spend $25 minimum to use your credit card. I guess... but what if a person only wanted 2 things (that totaled less than $25) then you just can't get anything here at all (if you don't have cash)?

No carts, no gimmicks, no unnecessary fanfare, just legit dim sum crazy great flavor. HK Dim Sum earned a rock-solid five stars. There were a few misses, but the dishes that landed were executed really well. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! Siu Mai 10/10 - Juicy, plump and perfectly executed. Definitely my favorite dish. Bean Curd Skin Roll in Abalone Sauce 9/10 - Flavorful with an excellent texture. The whole dish was well executed. Beef Chow Fun 8/10 - Solid and flavorful. The beef was tender, and the noodles had a great texture. Yangzhou Fried Rice 8/10 - The rice was moist and the seasoning was spot on. Shrimp Egg 8/10 - Soft and well seasoned. Generously portioned with very plump shrimp. Pork Chop Spicy Salt 8/10 - Crispy and slightly salted. It has a really great texture to it. Salted Fish and Chicken with Eggplant 8/10 - Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Generous portions of chicken, salty fish and eggplant. Chicken Feet 7/10 - It was solid. Not the best, but definitely not bad. House Special Crispy Shrimp Rolls 5/10 - The flavor of the shrimp was okay, but the rolls were really greasy. There were three very small rolls, definitely not my cup of tea. Chili Wonton 3/10 - By far my least favorite dish. The wonton skin tasted very flour-y, and hardly had any filling. The filling was also very bland and the chili oil was very underwhelming. By the way, the tea is free (I know, free tea at a dim sum spot).

It was crisp and chewy without feeling too heavy from the oil, if you stop at one that is haha -#6 siu mai was also so jam packed with meat and juicy! Still worth mentioning that the turnip cake was delicious in flavor but just not a highlight because it was on the mushier side. I'd still get it again though! Also, my partner really enjoyed the congee. I didn't try it though. Areas that can be improved: -the lotus sticky rice was a little lacking in flavor and meat. -the Cheung fun although had generous amounts of shrimp, it lacked bounce in the rice noodle. Maybe because it was cold by the time we ate it. -to reduce paper consumption, I recommend using laminate dry erase for the menus so they can be reused. Just an idea/suggestion! We had beef, lamb, and pork slices for hotpot which we ordered 5 each per order. We had two pots original and one spicy. The meat slices were very thin so cooking time wasn't long and we paired it with various sauces, so if you make a good sauce it'll be even better. The buffet selection definitely changed, there's more hot foods and they no longer have mini sausages. I do enjoy their char siu and their varieties. Staff were pretty attentive with making sure our tables are cleared and if we need more meat. Since we were in a private room, they still came by to check on us. I'm deeply disappointed with the decline in cleanliness and overall quality of this establishment…read moreover the years. What was once a delightful place to visit has steadily deteriorated, and my recent visit was the final straw. As someone who has worked in food service, I understand the significance of proper sanitation and food safety practices. What I witnessed was truly disturbing. Employees were wearing the same pair of gloves while performing various unrelated tasks without changing them. I observed staff handling dirty items, picking up debris from the floor, pushing dirty carts, touching shared surfaces, using their phones, and even making physical contact with one another all the while continuing to wear the same gloves when handling customer items. Gloves are designed to prevent contamination, not spread it. Wearing the same contaminated gloves throughout an entire shift defeats their purpose and creates serious cross-contamination. There seemed to be a complete lack of awareness of basic food safety standards. The dining area was equally disappointing. The menus were visibly greasy and oily, as if they hadn't been cleaned in ages. During slower periods, most restaurants take the opportunity to wipe down menus, sanitize surfaces, and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case here. The salad bar was in a state of disarray. Ingredients were scattered, vegetables were mixed into the wrong containers, and food was spilling over the sides. The entire area looked neglected and unorganized. Instead of appearing fresh and inviting, it looked messy and unsanitary. To add insult to injury, much of the dishware appeared dirty. Plates, bowls, and utensils had oily residue and didn't look properly cleaned before being put back into service. There's nothing more unsettling than wondering whether the dishes you're eating from are actually clean. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, but this establishment fell short on multiple fronts. The lack of sanitation practices, visible cross-contamination, dirty menus, messy food stations, and unclean dishware left me feeling disgusted rather than satisfied. Given this disappointing experience, I won't be returning. It's disheartening to witness such a noticeable decline in standards, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously to prevent any potential health risks.

We also enjoyed the black pepper beef cubes, dan dan noodles, and spicy wontons. Everything was delicious and we'll definitely be back!

The acidity and chili oil makes this such an addictive combo. - Wood Ear Mushroom w/ Vinegar Dressing ($6.95): Yum! A great side as a palate cleanser. - Shanghai Braised Pork Belly ($18.95): Very tender and fatty. - Lobster & Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao (6/$19.99): Delicious! The skin is thin and the meat is juicy with delectable soup! Not the best I've had especially taking the price into account, but I'd still say it's a good choice for XLB. - Dan Dan Noodles w/ Sesame Sauce & Minced Pork ($12.95): My friends all thought this was decent. For me personally it was a bit overly nutty. [Service] - Fast, helpful, attentive [Ambiance] - Decent amount of tables - Can watch them make dumplings through the glass [Overall] - I don't live around this area but I wouldn't mind coming back next time I'm in the area.. unless my friends suggest otherwise
