Awesome Veal Parm! Stopped in for dinner with friends while traveling across the country. This is an Italian restaurant with a Firehouse vibe. When you walk in you can smell the Italian cooking and it was a glorious smell. We were seated right away and our server promptly brought menus and drinks. After ordering our salads came out shortly. Our meals were served piping hot and they were awesome! My friend and I had the veal Parm and this was no frozen breaded patty veal, this was fresh veal that was lightly hand breaded and served in a fresh made meat sauce along with a piece of garlic bread. My friend's wife had the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was awesome also. We all enjoyed our meals and would recommend for a try!

I've have had DiNapoli's Fire House bookmarked on Yelp, as one place to try, for at least 10 years. Driving back to Pasadena on President's Day from my home in Bullhead City I decided to dive in and give this unique pizza place a try. I arrived about 12:30 pm. Walking inside I was blown away with all the firefighting equipment, memorabilia and photos. Walking inside I was pleasantly greeted with a warm welcome. I told the young lady that I wanted to order a pizza to go. Looking over the menu I decided on a medium meatball and sausage pizza. I was told that it would be about 20 minutes. While I waited I walked around the restaurant to look at all the firefighter memorabilia. They have a nice bar upstairs. True to their word my pizza was ready almost at the 20 minute mark. After paying for my pizza I went out to my vehicle and placed it inside. Even though I was still full from eating breakfast I just had to try a slice when it was just made. Opening up the box it looked beautiful and the meatballs were big, flavorful and really juicy. The crust was perfectly cooked. The bottom was crisp and ridged. Absolutely delicious. The true star were the meatballs but the sauce had great flavor and that crispy crust and cheese just made this an awesome pizza worthy of a return visit. When I finally got home I reheated 2 slices in my oven. It was great even reheated in the oven. If you have never tried DiNapoli's Fire House, the place will defiantly hose your hunger with great tasting pizza.

Delicious! Such a hidden gem to have in Barstow. The restaurant was beautiful and nicely decorated, I wish i had taken some photos. The service was wonderful, you get soup and garlic bread on too of your entree and the drinks were refillable too.

Have been going to "DiNaps" for over a year now. They have hardly messed up a single order and you feel like family every time you walk in. This is the place to go in Barstow for comfort food, 110%. The lighting and seating are excellent and the booths are actually comfortable! Staff is willing to go above and beyond. We have seen tourists from overseas to locals who have been here for many years dine in on a Tuesday. Suitable for everyone. :)

Food was excellent! Huge portions. We took half of our meals home. The restaurant played good music. The wait staff were on top of their game. There was a large party in one area of the dining room and the employees made sure other patrons were taken care of.

Quick pit stop here on our drive to Vegas from LA. Super cute Italian restaurant with a firehouse theme throughout. Our server, Lauren, was phenomenal as well as our pizza. I would definitely return and recommend !

I was in that barstool area that searched for someplace to eat, and this place came up. Took a chance on and boy, i'm glad I did. The ambiance of the place is amazing, so walking through an old fashioned firehouse with all the stuff on the walls. The music is great. The service was fantastic. Add Shrimp Scampi, with soup and garlic bread was absolutely unbelievable. Don't be fooled by the prices, portions are large. It was big enough that me and my wife shared the meal and we were stuffed.

DiNapoli's Firehouse has been a Barstow staple for decades. Fun fact the owner Nick DiNapoli is also the Chief of the Barstow Fire Protection District! Walking into DiNapoli's is a visual onslaught of Fire Fighter memorabilia and memories. There is a second floor that can be used for larger parties. There are large screen TV's strategically placed throughout the dining areas, in case you want to keep track of the big games while you fill your senses, sight, sound and taste! Everything item on the menu is a delectable delight! Fried Calimari, Mozzarella sticks, Meatball sliders and Brushetta begin the appetizer menu. You can then make your way through their house salads. There is a gluten free menu as well. You can order sides and a la cart menu items. Entree's include, an assortment of pasta styles. Calzones and Stromboli are a home town favorite! Build your own pizza from small 10" to XL 18" and everything in-between. Desserts include, Cheesecake, Cannoli, Spumoni, Gelato, Sorbet and their own Simply Perfect Chocolate Cake. They offer an assortment of Domestic and Imported beers. DiNapoli's is not just a meal, it's an adventure!

The firehouse aesthetic is fun without being overdone and the food is stellar. It was a little expensive in my opinion, but not outrageously so. Expect to spend between 20 and 30 dollars per person before appetizers, drinks, or dessert. read more

We read the reviews while we were hungry ... decided it sounded good and that they had gluten free options! We were very disappointed... just no flavor ... I had spaghetti in meat sauce .. zero flavor... even the garlic bread I could have made better! My sister had the gluten free spaghetti with marinara sauce ... it looked like a bowl of noodles with tomatoes and some tomato sauce.. Great staff and cool ambience! Delicious pasta and the best garlic bread I've had in years. I had the spinach ravioli and spaghetti special. It was incredible. My dining mate ordered the shrimp Alfredo. The sauce is heavy but tasty. The shrimp are large and fresh. We also had the potato soup. Very good! read more

Only Italian food in Barstow. Welcoming and fun atmosphere with a firefighter focus. Lots of options on the menu, our group got a pepperoni pizza, spaghetti with a side of sausage, and the tour (chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, and lasagna). Pizza was really good, crust was awesome. Spaghetti sauce was really acidic and not something we'd order again. Lasagna was really good, fettuccini was dry and needed more alfredo, asked for a side of alfredo and it was an extra fee. Chicken parm was ok, the sausage was good. Didn't have room for dessert, but had a dessert menu. Server was nice and attentive, didn't know we check out at the front, so waited for the server to take out payment for a while. read more

We went there for takeout. My wife and I split a lasagna. It came with a salad and two pieces of garlic bread. The lasagna was delicious and had a very generous portion (we couldn't eat it all, so we saved the leftovers as well as the salad for tomorrow). Everything was very good and filling. I would go there again. read more

Stopped by this restaurant on the way home from a roadtrip. I really loved it. The place is cute the staff was friendly. The food. delicious. I haven't been to Italy so I don't really know what Authentic Italian food tastes like but I feel it will taste like in this restaurant. The thing that surprised me the most was the minestrone soup. By the veggies you can tell its not from a can and I LOVED this plus the taste was so good. Chicken Piccata was delicious as well. Will definitely stop by again if driving by. read more

I have been passing this restaurant for years and always wondered if it was good. I figured it was because the parking lot is always full. I finally tried it this week. Cute and kitschy inside. Very old school Italian feel and very friendly staff. The food was great! I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have high expectations only because of the location...Barstow. We tried the Bruschetta, Chicken Alfredo and Alfredo pizza and Cheesecake. All four were delicious! The bruschetta had capers and artichoke. So flavorful. The Alfredo pizza was so yummy. I only wish there was a choice to add a protein. I suppose I can just add it next time. The crust was soft and chewy. The fresh tomato was a great addition and even though I'm not a big tomato fan, I enjoyed it on the pizza. read more

First let me say it smelled terrible in the restaurant. The calamari was the absolute worst: very chewy, over breaded, over cooked. I ordered Stromboli and half of it was dough completely undercooked. It was also so greasy it tore apart the paper that it was served on. This is a local fav and beloved in this community I hate that they're closed on Sundays They have decent pizza and pasta they have wine and beer with Italian Soda last time I had their soup was terrible but they could have changed that The antipasto is lovely Servings are generous Thd service is usually good Cannolis are my fav with a nice cup of coffee The lasagna is ok and so is the spaghetti and meatballs they use sausage with ground beef abd in not a sausage eater Chicken parm is a go to Try the tour of Italy and get the salad with house dressing The appetizers are fine but you take home lots of food which is whole other meal read more

Came to have dinner and it was a nice little place to stop by. The staff was all very nice and attentive. The food was all delicious and the portions were very ample. The food all came out piping hot and full of flavor. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The wings bbq sauce was so delicious and sticky and had so much sweet flavor. The Philly cheesesteak was full of meat and cheese. The trio was a pleasant surprise to be able to try different platters that are offered. We did have the meatball sliders that were so good we devoured them before we could get a picture. Will definitely come and try again. read more

Must have been an off day based on the more recent reviews. Ordered Pasta with clams and a pasta with shrimp, both swimming in a pool of oil and butter. clams out of a can, shrimp were cooked correctly. limited wine list, didn't come close to enjoying or finishing either dish. Garlic bread was lame, will not return, sorry. read more

Enjoyed a filling and delicious meal in this retro firehouse/New York themed Italian restaurant. With Jimmy Durante, Bobby Darin and others from a bygone we crooning on the speakers, the ambiance of this place is unlike anything you've experienced in a chain restaurant anywhere. Our crew ordered a variety of items off the huge menu--a loaded pizza, turkey/cheese sandwich and fries, meatball sandwich and pasta salad, antipasto salad, and good ol' spaghetti. Nearly everyone was absolutely delighted with the food (the one exception was the antipasto salad, which had much less meat and cheese than you'd expect). Also, the portion sizes are quite large (consider splitting a sandwich with a friend--they are plenty big). read more

Excellent food, portions are plentiful and atmosphere is nice. We dine here often And enjoy wine with friend. Stop and enjoy a great meal. Salads , pizza and authentic Italian food. There is no signage off the 15 so you have to exit East main exit 186 no bound. read more

Pizza was great my kids loved the pepperonis. The spaghetti and meatballs looked amazing but unfortunately flavorless. Server took our order and brought it to us but disappeared after that til we got a check. Quite expensive for no flavor and bad service. Kids liked the decor and pizza not much else to say. read more

Been going here for years...the food remains great, and if you leave hungry, then it's your fault, because the portions aren't small. Takeout is great too...everything is packaged very well, and it's ready to go very quickly. Loved it then, love it now...will never stop going! read more

Pros 1) they had a Burger menu, as well as other Mexican food dishes and desserts on the board. Love the variety! 2) restaurant looked clean. I didn't see any dirty tables, trash on the floor, or sticky counters. 3) cashier, Andrea, was very nice. 4) we got the grilled cheese sandwich ($3.99), mushroom burger ($6.50), and a combo which is a bacon burger with added cheese & fries ($10.99). If you add cheese, it's an additional $0.85. For something so simply and normal, these were delicious. Burgers were so juicy, bread soft, meat good, and flavorful. Little one loved the grilled cheese sandwich. Fries were made perfectly. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned with salt perfectly. Made me think I should have tried a Mexican dish instead of the mushroom burger. Lol If a burger can be that good, the Mexican dish must be even better. 5) no soft music here. Restaurant is very quiet. The customers who arrived were all very quiet. 6) love how as soon as Andrea see someone come to the counter, she immediately walks to the register to take orders. 7) it's our 1st time there and she didn't rush us or give us an attitude, while ee were still deciding what to order because there were quite a few stuff on the menu. 8) nice large parking lot. Cons 1) bathroom was closed due to them just mopping the floor. But I understand that. Sometimes you want to clean stuff up so you can close and head home after. Versus staying late to clean. Conclusion We actually were very impress with the foods we ordered here. So good and juicy. No complaints. Andrea was very professional. I forgot to take pictures of our foods because it was that good. Plus we ordered to go and ate in the dark in our car. Lol I recommend this restaurant if you're on the move and need a quick grab. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be soft, but the boneless wings were not crispy, maybe the sauce made the better soft. But, I did not like it, I was expecting more crispy. But again, maybe is this is the way that they're served. The ambience is okay it's a sports bar. Kind of small as well but very busy. The service was great. I was greeted within less than 2 minutes from sitting down, and I had multiple servers taking care of my table. So definitely they're not lacking in service. I just think since the last time I went there and this time the quality of food has diminished.

Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. It was simple, respectful, and genuinely touching. See my picture. That detail said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great atmosphere, friendly energy, and one of those spots you end up talking about later.

You may start your meal with freshly made sandwiches, salads, chicken tenders, burgers, fries, or pizzas and end it with Peet's coffee, popcorn, premium Jedidiah's jerky, or ice cream. So many options! I picked up a couple bags of tasty snacks, indulged in a cup of yummy ice cream, got a soft plushie or two and a few magnets. Can't leave without my magnets! LOL Prices were reasonable. Staff was nice and helpful. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. If you've driven past EddieWorld and thought of exiting, think no more, just exit and explore. However, on this detour home we had Mary Anne as our waitress and she was amazing. Very friendly and she made sure our that's drinks we're always refilled and that we have plenty of condiments. She let us know about the Denny's reward program, which we signed up for and even offered us desert but we had to pass it up because we were to full. The food was hot and our order came out super fast. Everyone was happy and we left with full belly's! We will be back next time.

As a Barstow local I swear Dinapolis is the BEST restaurant in this whole town I went for my sister's birthday and everything was perfect the service was amazing the workers were super friendly and fast and the whole place just felt welcoming I ordered the chicken Alfredo and omg it was so creamy rich and full of flavor like actually the best Alfredo I've had in Barstow my son who's 9 had the ravioli and even he said it was delicious and he never compliments food the portions were big the place was clean the vibe was cozy and honestly it's one of the only spots in Barstow that never disappoints if you haven't gone you're seriously missing out this is the place to go for birthdays date nights family dinners or just when you want food that tastes like it was made with love Dinapolis deserves way more hype than it gets and I'll keep coming back every time. read more

Stopped by on the way to vegas and was greeted by a friendly hostess with a big smile and was promptly seated. Then my server Sam was awesome, so friendly, helpful and made sure we had all our questions answered along with great suggestions like their special in which we had. Not to mention she was a cutie with glasses , very unique mysterious ,easy in the eyes quality that was so charming! I tried the trio tour dish and was so delicious. Chicken parmigiana , lasagna and Alfredo so good for a good price. Firehouse decor was so unique and vintage:) so, good feeling vibe, great tasting food and good looking staff ,definitely a must stop! On the way home to LA read more

Came in with my family, just passing through during the long weekend, we ordered a large 2 topping pie, a nice chicken Cesar salad and a chicken picatta. I ordered a hot pastrami, I wanted soup instead of potato salad, the up charge was $1.95 (which is perfectly fine for obvious reasons) everything tasted so fresh, the plates are huge, my sandwich was massive. Wish I would've taken pictures, but we just dug in. Service was awesome, young lady with glasses, pleasant and funny:) the ambience is nice, cool playlist. Definitely will come again read more

Best Place in TOWN!!! Last night I had the greatest dinner and great service despite the fact every seat was filled! I was amazed at how GREAT and quickly my waitress was able to bring out our order even though this place was PACKED. She treated us as though we were the only customers in the place. We had an incredible dinner here! The service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations. The food was phenomenal--the gnocchi was light and fluffy, and the veal marsala was perfectly cooked. The ambiance was charming, with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a cozy, vintage vibe that transported us to Italy. Always have a pleasant experience here. The ladies that work here are so nice. I've been coming to the Firehouse since i was a boy and we try to make it a usual thing every time we come to Barstow to grocery shop since i live out in Baker. Garlic bread is awesome. Mozzarella sticks are suppurb and the pizza is always hot and cheesy thats my kinda pizza! Nothing to gripe about you can this revuew seriously since ive been jere about 100 times. read more

Do not come here ever unless you wish to smell the arm pits of several old farts. Service is the worst as well. Lady thought I was a man, the f***??Anyway lighting is bad, reminds me of Christmas and Grandma's house. This cabin makes me feel claustrophobic and sick. Music makes feel nauseous. They play garbage from the 70's. They also do not provide silverware so good luck eating with your hands. read more

Dinapoli's Fire House in Barstow, CA, was a great place to eat! There aren't many options in town, but the food here was delicious. We had ravioli, lasagna, and pizza--all very tasty! The Italian sodas were amazing, too. The restaurant is in an old firehouse, and the decorations make it feel special and cozy. Definitely worth a visit! read more

We were driving to Las Vegas and stopped here to eat dinner and what a great find! We shared the meatball sandwich and a Caesar salad. The sandwich had 3, homemade meatballs in bread freshly at the restaurant. There was just the right amount of sauce and melted cheese on it. Friendly staff too! read more

Living in Barstow for 5 years now and finally went in for a meal with the family. The food was delicious, the service was great, the price was fair. I love pasta and theirs were fantastic.
