I discovered my right front tire was completely flat in my garage. After THEN discovering my spare donut was also flat. I enlisted a neighbor to give me and my flat to Discount Tire Rockwall. These tire are not a year old and low miles. The representative was great and said it would take about 2-3 hours. After arriving back home I received a text saying it was fixed, back to Discount, after getting back home again and discoing the another leak had NOT been fixed, back to Discount, but they repaired it. Then home again only to find out they failed to balance it. Sunday closed. Monday work, Tuesday early morning back to Discount to get it balanced and have the spare donut ready in case. Only to get home and find Discount had not repaired the spare, BACK again early morning to get the spare fixed. Everyone at Discount were extremely nice and very helpful. My low tire pressure light came on. I took my car to 3 different tire shop. They put air in it and said it was fine. Then the light would pop back on the next day. Today, I took it to Discount tire and they looked at my tires. Instantly found the problem, a screw. They patched it up and sent me on my way. There has been alot of construction at my work place and my neighborhood. I have had several hole patches done here which is an amazing free service. Recently, one of the patches didnt hold and the company took responsibility for a bad patch job eveb though its a free service. They gave me a tire for a couple days while mine was sent to the store. I didnt have to pay for a new tire which was very considerate of them. I offered to pay half but they refused so I spent about $130 on full tire coverage instead. We brought in our lil' golf cart tire that had a big ol' screw in it (what you get for being a nozy neighbor and driving around off-roading on new home construction sites I guess, allegedly) and they fixed it for us, happily, FOR FREE. Was it because we have bought 10 dozen tires from them (probably not, but it sure feels like it)? Was it because I was sweet and asked nicely if they could do it (probably not, they probably get sweet talked all the time)? Not sure what type of sales commission they're on, but they try to up sell you on everything you don't need. Gave me my car back with the tire light still on and made me drive my own car into the bay. Wouldn't even put an older tire on a rim for me to use as a spare. They charged me for three tires when I only received two and wouldn't give me my money back. They told me to drive to Discount Tire in Rowlett to get my third tire. Do your research on the tires you want and then go here and have them installed. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable on tires. I bought Cooper A/T tires after reading reviews on them. Holy cow! Made an appointment for 9 a.m. and I am already out of here! Estimate was 45 minutes but they were done after 25 minutes! I came here for a tire rotation. Turns out I needed new front tires due to the dealerships neglect to rotate my tires despite me telling them to rotate my tires every other oil change. So, I had to purchase two new tires. When I parked and walked up to the door, I was greeted by a gentleman outside asking me what I needed. Plus one star for being on it. He gave me a good deal on the tires due to my husband being retired military which was nice because I was not expecting to spend any money on tires today. That gets two stars from me for that. Adding another star for courteous employee who helped me and didn't talk down to me, I hate that! Adding the final star for quick service! Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for new tires. I have been a fan of discount for a long time. In the past I have brought my van in for a nail in my tire. I had to have my Acura flat tire repaired yesterday afternoon October 11, 2017. I met a young salesman and he convinced me to have two new tires installed and rotate tires. After job was done I got home and parked my car in the garage. This morning when I looked at my car noticed that there are two long and deep scratches on my car and in order to hid the damages on my car they painted damaged area with Matt black color. Same color as my car but my car is shiny black. I went back to discount tire store this afternoon and talked with a manager named Nick. Trying to get checked in and the staff was put out- acted like I was annoyance rather than a customer.

I came to discount tire in search of help for removal of a screw in one of my tires and repair of the hole. I was expecting to spend 20-30$ and half my day. Instead, I was told there would be no charge. I asked the salesperson, Robert, why there would be no charge. Expecting some sales pitch about signing up for something or being told that my almost brand new tires would need to be replaced soon. He said, because it's the right thing to do. I sat and waited in astonishment and 20 minutes later I was told my car was ready and would be pulled around front for me. I walked out feeling like I owed them something. Discount Tire in Rockwall has the worst customer service. I have been here 4-5 times and have had a horrible experience every time. They lack customer service skills and and are always so rude. Mathew is the worst employee I have dealt with at this location and have had the unfortunate luck to have worked with him numerous times. He is condescending and lies to your face. He calls himself the manager and sold us a horrible set of tires (lasted less than a year) and gave us hell with our warranty replacement. We bought rims from him another day with another experience from hell. My husband and I took both cars in for rotation yesterday and Mathew flat out lied to my husband and was very difficult to work with. I let it slide the first couple times as I am a woman and maybe he just doesn't know how to treat women that are unsure about wheels and tires, but no. This is just his horrible personality. I have no idea how he has been employed at Discount Tire for this long. His bad attitude and the way he bad mouths his employees to customers rubs off on other employees and they way they treat each other and their customers. Took my Ford Edge in today to have the tires rotated & balanced (a free service because we bought a full set of tires from Discount Tire last October)...was greeted by Juan, who was very nice, even though, at 8:30am, the whole place was extremely busy. I went on their website last week and made an appointment, but realizing they WERE so busy this morning, I figured my wait time would be approximately an hour, which was not a problem for me. The waiting area is very clean with comfortable seating, complementary cold bottled water and lots of current magazines. However, I didn't even get 10 pages into a magazine before my car was ready :) The key is to make an appointment vs. being a walk-in; they'll still meet your needs if you DO walk-in, but having an appointment guarantees that your vehicle takes priority. Left car for rotate and balance. Came back with 1 tire at 20 psi and the tire cover bent inward. 2 other times refused to fix my flat and perform rotate and balance. Said I needed to buy new ones. Nail was under the tire more inward than the one they fixed before. The other one was a small nail that didn't even puncture the tire. They didn't bother to check that one. The air wasn't even leaking. Either management is incompetent or no one inspecting the workers' works afterward. Or worse case, they are doing shady business here to get you spend more money. This place needs to be investigated. Been DC tires customer for over 10 years. May start taking mine and relative cars to Costco. read more
