I meet up some friends for dinner on Monday evening. Drew was our server and was really attentive and nice. We found out that Monday is their all day happy hour so we ordered CK Robert Mondavi Sauvignon blanc to drink. They were $8 a glass. The happy hour consists of drink specials, no food. I ordered the shaved brussel sprouts salad with a side of grilled chicken. I was worried it wouldn't be enough so had asked for extra brussel spouts, but my friends who order this all the time, told me it was plenty. I was weary, but decided that they knew what they're talking about as they order this all the time. I liked my dressing on the side, and felt like I needed more than just the one sauce cup worth for my whole salad. I recommend two at the very minimum. The salad was amazing, the grill chicken was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but overall the salad was very filling. I couldn't even finish it, which was a surprise to me. I will definitely order this salad again but will try the protein my friends ordered- the almond and cheese crusted chicken. It's a great place to come for dinner, especially on a Monday. read more

I went to Doc B's with some coworkers on Friday (2-21-25). We had been here before and have always liked the vibe of this place. When you walk in there is a bar area in the middle of the restaurant with a long table next to it. We thought it was part of the bar seating, so we sat down. After about ten minutes we asked the server in the area if we could see some menus. She told us that the table was not in her section but she would talk to the hostess about serving us. The hostess approached the table and told us that we couldn't sit there because the table was not part of the bar and they were on a 1 hour wait for tables. Remember we had already been sitting there for 10 minutes. We moved our group to the bar and ordered some drinks. About 20-30 minutes went by and no one had been sat at long table. A member of our group asked the manager (I assume she was the manager, because she was who the hostess deferred us to) if we could move back to the table since it appeared the wait was over. The manager initially said no and was still insisting they were super busy and may need the table for other guest. After a few minutes of protest she allowed use to sit at the table, but at this point our spirits had been dampened. We decided to stay and order some food. Our server Lacey got our night back on track with a bright personality and great service. All in all they have great drinks and good food. It's just unfortunate that this manager couldn't manage to see that sitting us at that table would not have had an impact on her dwindling wait list. She did come over to our table to make sure we were 'okay', but at this point what was done took away any credibility she may have had with our group. read more

Chose Doc B's for gathering with friends, and it met all our needs with plenty of room for our party size, fast service from taking the orders to the food coming out with minimal wait time. Our server Ben was spot on with menu suggestions, especially the oven roasted wings that were delish. However, I was surprised to learn that they don't have but a garlic aoli that is mmmmm good on wings and fries. The decor gives restaurant/bar, but the ambiance is moreorless laid back and inviting. Food to date is good. I had the turkey burger this time, which had a good flavor. I didn't get it as it was listed since I don't eat avocado, and it was disappointing that they had no other cheese besides cheddar because I don't eat yellow cheese either. At least I could still get it with toppings that were good for me, and that kaleslaw was pretty good since it was a different dressing than regular coleslaw and quite tasty. My mom picked this bc it was close enough to the airport after a long day. I wanted a salad bc I don't always eat great when I'm on a trip, but restaurant salads often end up with fried chicken and eggs and generally don't feel 'good for you' like I wanted. Pretty sure you can get that here, too, but I got the California salad and it was just want I wanted- lots of veggies and very tasty. Mom got the same and agreed. My kid got the salmon with broccoli instead of kale and since we were with grandma, also got to try the Oreo ice cream. My husband and I had reservations here for Valentine's Day and enjoyed our time here! That day, everyone that came in with a reservation got a free glass of bubbly to celebrate the day which was a nice touch. We tried their chimichurri 700 degree wings and they were VERY tasty. My only wish is that they were a bit more crispy, as you expect a degree of crispiness when they specifically say they were cooked at 700 degrees. Otherwise, amazing and I want more of them! My husband got a chicken sandwich and opted for the sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Doc B's is my go to restaurant anytime I am at international mall. I love all the food here. I always start off with the Oven Roasted Chicken Wings with chimichurri. It comes with Reggiano cheese crumbles on top. For my meal, I get the grilled salmon with green Perfect House Salad. I'm obsessed with the cornbread croutons that comes in this salad. And my other reason I come here is for this drink called: The "Beet"lejuice over Crushed Ice. It has all organic beet juice, mint, lemon and gin! Absolutely amazing! Don't counted out because of the beet juice. You won't be disappointed. The service is always pretty fast and great. Although this place gets busy most of the week, I'm usually seated pretty quickly. I am honestly mad at myself for not coming here sooner. Everything was really good. I came here for mother's day and was surprised we were able to walk in and grab a table. The restaurant is decorated in a modern style that feels a bit nicer than casual, yet not stuffy. I started with a cocktail called "The Internal Affair" (On the Rocks) that was comprised of Tequila, jalapeño, pineapple, basil. It was refreshing, flavorful, and not spicy (I kind of wish it was a bit spicier, but that is just my preference). For dinner I had the California Salad and I added crispy chicken. The salad includes kale, roasted sweet potato, corn, pistachio, dried cranberries, wasabi peas, tortilla strips, and a roasted garlic dressing. I was so impressed with this salad. The flavors worked really well together, and since dining here I have been scouring the internet for copy cat recipes so that I may recreate it at home. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some issues we had with our server. She forgot a few items (condiments, silverware, etc) and was tough to flag down. Additionally, two people at my table ordered the same drink but on the final check they were charged two different prices. My friends and I had lunch at another establishment at IP and we felt like hanging out some more so we headed over to Doc B's. The great thing about Doc's is that it is kind of quiet and understated and has great cocktails. We had the Crazy Beautiful (martini glass) Paloma (middle tall glass) and the International Affair (short glass.) Mine was the International Affair, I figured since I had been having tequila all afternoon that I should stick with it.
