Also the Sonoita Dark Sky coffee- fabulous!!! Cookies looked amazing- but did not try- next time. Please please try this place- we need to support local vendors!!!! Overall will try again, specifically for their breads! Hit them up on Friday afternoon and they weren't busy at all. I was the only car in the drive thru so had a bit of time to peruse the menu. I ordered the chicken BLT ($14.25), option of bread choices so I went with the focaccia. Service was fine, no concerns. Upon getting into the bag the sandwich was really hot. Now I don't know about you but wilty greens are gross and why was it is wilty due to the overall heat of the sandwich. The sandwich also has a ton of mustard on it plus a cream cheese spread. Frankly the best thing about the sandwich was the focaccia and the cream cheese. Lesson learned, frankly not sure a BLT should be served hot but to each their own. This place is sooooo good. I came here with my family and I tried a bit of each person's food so I can fairly say that EVERYTHING I TRIED IS AMAZING. Things I tried: Bread pudding - crispy top, warm & yummy under Cuban sandwich - sooo freaking good. Penasco salty dog cold brew - delish. Potato and onion slice - well seasoned and tasty. Was in the neighborhood and realized We had never seen Barrio before so decided to stop in and we were not disappointed! The staff were so friendly and gave us a little of the history which we found fascinating. They weren't terribly busy so we waited maybe 10 minutes and had to try the bagels in the car and wow! Ive never had such a soft bagel! It was perfectly firm/crispy on the outside and the middle was soft like you want a bagel to me. Ordered a classic plain with plain cream cheese for the ultimate test (if that's no good there's no point) and I'd rate it a 9/10 easily! Then ordered a breakfast sandwich and the flavor with the combo of the perfectness of the bread itself was immaculate. Food took over 45 minutes, came out incorrectly with no apologies made by staff. No where to sit, for the first 10 minutes . Added 2 stars because the coffee was decent. I think a great plan of action would be to close for a week retrain staff and perfect the assembly line to speed it up when it's busy. I ordered the Italian on the sourdough focaccia and was blown away by the balance of flavors. Speechless!!! Absolutely amazing breads. Could not imagine any better. Ate half a loaf before we even got home. Visited late afternoon and they still had a large selection available. The staff and customer service was exceptional. Knowledgeable and accommodating. Two order stations inside front door, outdoor seating and of course drive thru. I just spent 45 minutes in line at the drive-up window to get one slice of pizza and a six-pack of bagels. Companies do "soft-openings" for a reason and this place should have considered doing that before opening. Most of the staff just stood around talking with each other while the owner was outside playing the celebrity host and taking pictures with customers. As for the food, it was ok. But not worth the wait! Prices are a bit high given the quality of the food, and very high given the level of service received! P.S. Decided to try this place out after seeing a video on tik tok, and after trying it out I loved it so much I came back 2 hours later with more friends The location is an old sonic so the inside is small but the outdoor seating is vast and there's a drive thru as well! I met the manager and owner today and they were both so kind and attentive to the customers, ensuring everyone was enjoying their experience. I got the Penasco coffee which was salty but not overwhelming, so it was good, and combined it with the bagel sandwich and I added veggie cream cheese with ham. SO GOOD. The second time I came back here I ordered a slice of margarita pizza and a tea, also SO good. Overall this place is great and I will definitely be a regular from here on out :) read more

Customer service was good and staff was very friendly, food was underwhelming. Don't recommend the beef patty with a breakfast bagel. I work at the fire station around the corner from here and my crew and I frequent this place. They are very kind, responsive, and friendly. The food is delicious. I have had bagels, pizza, and their sandwiches and all of them are fantastic. They have misters outside so sitting out there is really comfortable and cool. Oren, the owner, is a very kind man. Always greets me with a warm hello and you can tell that he is proud of his bagel shop. Definitely will be coming back here very soon! read more

My first time here. Fairly quick and friendly drive thru service. We ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich, pepperoni pizza and a plain bagel. Wow! The breakfast bagel surprised me. I am not a big breakfast food person so I expected it to be bland like most are. It was actually flavorful and delicious! The pizza was also delicious. I feel like i could have used a tad bit more sauce (but thats just me). We got a plain bagel to compare it to others. It passed! The consistency is a bit different than regular bagels. I got the pizza slice with salad. Loved the garden salad with ranch but the croutons were too big for the salad. My only complaint! The Carnitas pizza slice was yummy! Kind of tasted like Mexican Elote pizza. Drive-thru deliciousness! read more

Disappointing. I started following on instagram and fell for the hype. I wanted to try their bagel because it is in their name. So I thought they sold fresh bagels. I saw fresh bagels behind the counter. Then when I went to order you can't try the very few limited flavors they even have. They force you to buy six of the same flavor. I was ready to walk out at that point but we bought six of one flavor. When the woman brought the bag of bagels to us they we day old. I know fresh bagels. These were all ready packed up. Very disappointing. I would have returned them but my husband doesn't like to complain. Wanted to try the pizza but it was too early. I don't care enough to go back. Too many other choices out there to go back here. read more

Terrible experience. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Arrived at 9:30am on Saturday 4/12. Placed our order for a bagel with cream cheese and a bagel with butter at 9:45am. When we checked on our status at 10:30 we were told 2 mins. Finally received it at 11am. There were plenty of people who waiting over an hour that simply left without receiving their food. Also people who requested refunds after waiting for an hour with no ETA on when their order would be completed. Best part was the orders that were cancelled were still being made. My advice would be to shut down the drive thru and online ordering until you can get your process together. There were employees standing around with no sense of urgency. While other employees were trying their best to get the orders out. I understand it's their 1st weekend but waiting over an hour for two toasted bagels is completely unacceptable read more

I was really excited to try this place since it's so close to our house and I love bagels. Went through the drive thru a little while ago and ordered a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and a rosemary salt bagel with veggie cream cheese for my husband. The gal who took our order repeated it back to me incorrectly and I had to correct her. We pull up to the next window and we waited for about 8 minutes. We were the only ones in the drive thru line and there were several people standing around inside the restaurant. We got our bagels and took them home only to discover that they mixed up the bagels. My plain bagel was plain on the top but was rosemary on the bottom and my husband got rosemary salt bagel on top with a plain bottom bagel. I really don't like rosemary in general and definitely didn't want it baked into my bagel. So I only ate the top half. Which was good but for $13 for two bagels and cream cheese, we probably won't be returning. read more
