Never again will I attempt to go to this place!!! The staff is not very friendly at all. Both times I've been here I was never acknowledge by a simple "hello" or "welcome" or "we'll be right with you". I understand being busy but there is still a thing called customer service you should adhere too. This review is NOT based on their donuts but just based on service as I have just walked out. Maybe the Scripps location is better but I'd rather drive down to Carmel Mountain to the donut place by Olive Garden. read more

This place is ridiculous! So damn good. I'm only mad that it's so close to my house. I think about these donuts at least once a day. The blueberry and the red velvet are BOMB! The bear claw is crazy good especially for about 5-10 seconds in the microwave to warm up the apple filling. Mmmm I wish I had one right now as I'm typing. The donuts were light and fluffy. The size of the donut were nice and big, much bigger than chain store. I was a bit disappointed at the lack of specialty donuts that everyone was talking about, but the basic donuts were done very well. The counter person was very nice and patience. This is my neighborhood donut place. Very good donuts and bagels and reasonably priced! The employees here are always so nice. They seem to be happy to work there and greet you with a smile. Red velvet donuts with cream cheese frosting are very good. Old fashioned buttermilks, good too. Overall a good value for quality donuts. I haven't tried the coffee drinks there yet, but they look pretty good. I also want to try their sandwiches. I'm writing this here to remind myself to try the sandwiches lol. read more

This place is close to my work. I decided to treat my coworkers and tried this place out, got 6 glazed donuts and 6 blueberry donuts and a sausage, egg croissant and peach smoothie for myself. All were delicious. Since then we have tried the bear claws, apple fritters, iced vanilla latte. The guys raved about the fritters and bear claws but the latte was made from a powder and the sandwich was way too bready. The ingredients in the sandwich were good but too much bread. Staff is super nice. This is our go to place for doughnuts now but I'll get my lunch sandwiches somewhere else. read more

Let me start off by saying I rarely eat a donut that I don't regret. I always think they aren't worth the calories/cards/sugar and just overall am never wowed by them. I just always pass when offered a donut. So naturally when I was in town and my mom told me I HAD to check out this new donut place, I was skeptical. It was pretty low on the "to do list". I finally went and WOW I wish I had gone further. The flavors are really unique and include toppings that I have never seen at other donut shops. They also include classics like bear claws, maple donuts, regular glazed etc. The donuts were moist and not too sweet. (normally my biggest complaints about donuts is they are always dry and too sugary) They had a nice richness in the flavor that made them taste like well made pastries. I would definitely recommend this place. Even if you don't like donuts =p read more

We weren't greeted as we came in. My daughter ordered a mocha frappe and the lady replied they only have blended coffee. The other guy behind the counter explained it was the same thing. Duh. As,she's waiting for me to decide what I want, she starts rubbing her nasty eyeliner with her fingers. Both eyes! Then she had the nerve to touch my daughter's bagel with her nasty hands. My daughter asked for a small, she charged me a medium. I asked for a large coffee, she gave me a medium cup. I corrected her. Lame. My husband and I just went here for breakfast and LOVED it!! We recently moved to the area so we're on the hunt for some regular haunts. We both had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and he had the chocolate covered donut and I had a glazed. The eggs were soft and fluffy and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The croissants are light and fresh with just enough butter. The donuts are huge and delicious!! We've tried a few donut shops now and this one is the one to beat! We'll definitely be back. read more

I visited for the first time. There were 5 people working but it took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. He was very nice and said it would be a while longer before someone could assist. Meanwhile, the owner walked past me, leaned over and turned off the cash register, apparently in case I tried to steal money, then walked out without saying anything to me. Went to this place on Sunday morning with my kiddos. Found it via Yelp, of course. I will say that I was not disappointed. Just walking in the customer service was fantastic. Super friendly and totally patient and understanding as my kids changed their minds 1/2 a dozen times. The doughnuts were fresh and tasted great. This place has a few locations and they are all super awesome! The employees are always nice the owner is usually at this location and super nice and the quality is always the same and great. You wouldn't think a donut shop would have good sandwiches, but we decided to try it out. We pleasantly suppressed they had great sandwiches. We had the California Dreamin and Golden Classic Chicken Pesto. Both sandwiches were delicious and were a good size. You can never go wrong with Boar's Head meat. If you are in the mood for a sandwich just walk past Subway and try the Donut Touch. We'll definitely be coming back to try something different. read more

I bring a box of donuts to the office on Wednesdays and living in Cardiff I would get them at VG's Donuts which are very good also. But then I moved to Rancho Bernardo and needed a new donut place. No one complained about any drop off in quality, believe me. Great all around. read more
