I wish I actually lived in Denver so I could come back to Dos Santos!! Tacos were DELICIOUS, and I say that as a native Texan so obvi I know my tacos! They were stuffed to the brim, which made them a little difficult to eat, but not impossible (fork and PLENTY of napkins helps!). Trio of guacamole was good, but a little excessive; one guac would be fine. They are just all the same guac with different toppings so they didn't really taste THAT different. Also they barely give you any chips with the trio so I'd recommend either loading up each chip with as much guacamole as possible or be prepared to pay the $1.50 for an extra round of chips. read more

Oh my gosh everyone needs to try this place! The atmosphere is amazing. We had the Tommy margarita and it was great and only $4 for happy hour. The verde and red salsas can serve 4 people and the chips are seasoned not too spicy, but just enough. I had the Chef's choice vegetarian taco. It had cauliflower, plobano pepper and corn with cojita cheese. My husband had the chicken taco. It was so good he ate in what seemed like seconds. Our server was efficient and friendly. I am already thinking of when I'll be back!! I'm not trying to compare but giving the fact that for me this is also not the most traditional place for tacos- I like this better than pinche tacos. Their corn appetizer was good, I know where to get better elote but like I said it was goo. The tacos were really good I did enjoy them specially the taco de Tinga de pollo. I believe the other I tried was the pork one and I liked it too. Next time I will also try the agua chile appetizer it looks yummy! read more

Went there the other day to enjoy cinco de mayo with some of my girls on the patio and dos santos never disappoints. Grace was a fast and efficient server. The manager was extremely sweet and bought us some shots because we broke the rules of first come first serve. Totally unnecessary but was greatly appreciated it. (Ps. Sorry we broke the rules) Always will recommend this place and if you haven't had the fish taco.....it's the best in town. read more

We've eaten here several times and it's always been excellent! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Taco menu is ever changes and always creative and delicious. Went with a group of 5, later in the dinner service on a Thursday night. Took a really long time for our drink order to be taken, had to get the servers attention for subsequent food order (physically walk up to hostess to have her get the server), then for more drinks, and finally for the check. Server was not visibly busy either! Server did not alert us for last call, and was rather reluctant to provide us with a final round of drinks, so we passed on the final round. Everyone had to get out their phones to look at the menu, which is irritating considering that this place is already pretentiously hipster af. I never go anywhere by accident. I research a 7-Eleven for years before buying a hot dog. So I walked into this place knowing nothing. It was amazical!! Tacos as good as Tacos DF, service fast, mood festive and relaxed. I had the porky and the tinga (chicken). Those names aren't exactly right but use your brain. The flavor a were street taco in The non tourist section of a real town in Mexico or Cabo with a little New American goodness (pretty lines of sauce out of a plastic ketchup bottle, colors other than brown). The prices are right don't ever charge more than $5 for a daggone taco. Go here and eat the food. read more

My go to place when I'm craving delicious, light Mexican. The pumpkin seed guacamole is a nice alternative to your traditional guacamole. The OMFG raw tuna tacos & the aguachile tostadas are to die for. The Paloma on their happy hour menu is also my go to drink. Can't wait to try their brunch. Salud! read more

Solid spot for tacos. Menu is pretty small so just know that you're only getting tacos. They should think about expanding this as Mexican is easy to do as everything is practically involving the same ingredients - just prepared a bit differently. But, I digress. Dos Santos is awesome! Went here for dinner and got a table right away. They just have 2 high chairs and both were in use when we arrived, so our 2 year old had an adventure not being strapped into anything! Guacamole with fruit and bacon was a great starter, and we arrived in time for happy hour drinks (even on Saturday!) and we ordered several tacos. All were delicious: OMFG, del mar, chicken tinga, and the pork. Our server, Riley, was super attentive and on it the whole time. And as soon as one of those high chairs wasn't in use she brought it to us right away. Taco are good! We had four different ones and they were all awesome. The vibe is chill and the drink menu is decent, though we just had beer. The DelMar taco with shrimp was great, the batter was so light and crispy. The porky and tinga were also delish. Prices are fair and the tacos are loaded and very filling. The Dos Dip was a delicious start to the meal, and the tacos didn't disappoint either. The tostado special was delicious, but the OMFG taco stole the show. What a fun and nice staff:) my friend and I came here last Tuesday and we enjoyed every minute of it. From the minute we walked in we felt welcomed. AWESOME!! That is all that is needed to say about this place. Best happy hour in all of Denver food wise and the margaritas they have on the menu are just amazing. Vibe is cool also.....mix of ages and total diversity. Great location.....parking can be tough on 17th street but it's worth the effort. Service can be a bit slow but not an issue at all.It's just a busy place that pumps out tons of great stuff. Had been looking forward to trying this place for a while now because I had heard good things. We were seated and told immediately by a server "I don't know what time it is but if it's after 2, we aren't serving from the brunch menu." I had purposefully made the trip on an early weekend afternoon so I could try a couple of their brunch tacos which sounded so good- and also because their regular menu only has a handful of tacos and apps on it. I picked up my phone and looked at it and as I showed it to the server, it changed from 1:59 to 2:00. I asked if there was any way I could still get brunch and he said no. Long story short, we asked another server and the kitchen staff and they all refused. We walked out. Terrible. read more
