I am SO sad to have to update my review. This was one of my favorite restaurants before they started making changes. We had we're excited to take family who had never been for their first time and we were SO disappointed at the experience. The menu has changed, and the servings of chicken is different. You used to be able to pick your side and get a sauce. Now, there is only one serving size of chicken and it comes with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken tasted old and dry, the mashed potatoes were salt, and the broccoli was nothing but stalks. We also got a side of Mac and cheese. It is usually delicious but last night it was really bad. I was also embarrassed I hyped it up so much. I hope last night was a fluke. I would love to return and have my mind changed. read more

All I can think about is the butterscotch cake. I'm new in town and decided to try this place, and boy was I not disappointed. Service was quick and food was AMAZING. Sometimes Detroit style pizza can be too bready but this place gets it just right (crisssspy!!). My one critique is that we made reservations and still had to wait a pretty long time till we were sat. I'm fine waiting at least 10 minutes especially on a busy night but pushing 20 is a bit much when you've made a reservation to eat at a specific time. Must try! read more

I came in for dinner tonight for the first time and had the best experience. As a server, I hold a high standard for service and can't get over how great the staff was from the second I walked in. I was having a rough day and Melanie greeted me at the door with a smile, the sweetest conversation, and great recommendations. My server Brooke was incredibly sweet, made me feel so comfortable, and made sure I had everything I needed at all times. She recommended the mediterranean salad, 10/10. I also got the rib dip, it was good, just wish the bread was crunchy! I will be back because of Brooke and Melanie, they both deserve a raise. Thank you both for making my night better! read more

The vibe is really cool!! Nice outdoor area and beautiful inside in my opinion. Two of us dinned in, was told a 35-45 minute wait. Let us know we could sit at the bar if we wanted. Got a few drinks. I enjoyed the spicy blackberry margarita. We actually ended up ordering at the bar. Mozzarella sticks were really good! I was hoping for more of a nice cheese pull but they tasted magnificent. Our waitress was amazing and was serving everyone indoors as far as I could tell. The food came out quickly as well. We got the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. The full pieces were so tasty, but the more you got into the bits of charred pieces it was a little too sweet. I ordered chicken tenders and my husband ordered the hand tossed barbecue chicken pizza. The pizza had good flavor and a good size. The chicken tenders were moist but lacked flavor. The ranch had a very sour and off flavor but the honey mustard was great. I cannot recommend this restaurant group enough. The manager Angel went above and beyond for my anniversary, I am out of town and cannot share it with my spouse. The table was clean and comfortable and the volume was at a perfect level. This is the best service I've ever received at a restaurant and the food was really good as well. We popped in Saturday late afternoon (4 of us) and they took care of us without a reservation. The Lebanese hummus was outstanding. The salmon and brussel sprouts and french dip sandwich were very good. I had the meat pizza (hand tossed) but I added roasted bell peppers and caramelized onion. My friends pizza cane on a plate that slipped all over the table as she tried to eat it. Kitschy but frustrating. The ambiance was not good if you really want to talk. I loved eating dinner here. We didn't know that the outdoor dining space was so spacious and beautiful; we decided to switch to outdoor seating last minute. The service was also great with different people coming up to check on the food. My favorite pizza was the spicy Hawaiian, it was the perfect balance between spicy, sweet, and savory. We were able to get a reservation this time, so decided to give it another try. When I told them we had a reservation, we were immediately seated. Although I don't think the hostess marked it on her reservation system, because 5 minutes later or so, I got a text saying our table was ready and I needed to let them know if I was going to be late (meanwhile we were already seated). I went to the hostess stand to let them know about the text and they were very appreciative. The food was very good. We ordered the chicken noodle soup, brussel sprouts, half chicken w/ lemon garlic w/ fries and a pizza. Everything came out hot and tasted very good. I also ordered an iced tea, which I think had some sort of hibiscus or something to it, which I usually don't like but this was very light, so it was ok. I would say, it would be great if this had been listed on the menu or I somehow knew that it wasn't plain regular tea. I also don't love when restaurants don't include their non-alcoholic drinks on their menu...the iced tea was a bit pricey. Service was great. She made sure drinks were filled and checked on us often. We were also watching the kitchen manager making sure food was going out correctly and swiftly. She was doing a great job and also communicating with the kitchen in a pleasant way, which I think is great when you are in an open kitchen dining concept. What a wonderful experience! My niece and I went for Friday lunch. The hostess was very sweet with a cute hairstyle. You could tell she enjoyed being there. I wish I had gotten her name. We sat at a lovely booth near the bar. The ambience was great. Not too loud to be able to have a conversation. The food was good. We shared the appetizer pimento cheese/guacamole combination. We also shared the main meal of chicken tenders with crispy Brussels sprouts. Desert was warm butterscotch cake with vanilla bean gelato. Everything was hot and flavorful. I like how large the restaurant is and the indoor and outdoor seating. The food was a bit underwhelming to me. It was good but nothing really stood out to me or was memorable. I got the spicy Hawaiian pizza hand stretched and it was just ok. My husband got rotisserie chicken with Brussels sprouts and it was good but definitely super salty. The kids meals were okay as well. It was pretty pricy for just OK food. Unfortunately we didn't have great service either. It took a really long time just to get water refills and even longer to get our food. Everything about DoughBird was fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious and my tastebuds were dancing. I don't really opt for pineapples on my pizza but the way this spicy Hawaiian was made, made me a fan! For our salads, it was the right amount of everything and I wanted for nothing. Our drinks were great and we left with a slight buzz- not overpowering or underwhelming....it was just right. The wait was a bit long due to the day and time ..weekend, prime dinner time but selecting "next available " rather than inside or cramped at the bar was fine for us. Doughbird kindly did a fundraiser for our school, which is why we went. I had never been there before. Everything we had was incredible! We shared the Mediterranean salad which they nicely divided for us. We devoured it, it was so good. I had the chicken pot pie which was amazing. I am so glad I gave Doughbird another chance. I'll start with the fact that there was professionalism throughout starting with the hostess. The place was packed, however, I had made a reservation that saved us about a half hour wait. We were lucky enough to have Ernie as our waiter and he was top notch. We drink a lot of water and he did a good job keeping the glasses full. I brought my husband who is as much a critic of food as I am. I will start with the appetizer...we got the Brussels Sprouts and I must say, I order these everywhere they are offered, all over the country and until now my favorites were at another Tucson restaurant but not one of those places were close to the ones we had here. I loved the mixture of sweet and spicy and they were tender without being mushy. A perfect amount of charring added to the experience. We would go back just for those but then we ordered our pizzas. I got the Copper Hat pizza. I was surprised when I found the prosciutto cold, having been put on after being pulled from the oven but it worked. My husband got the Aviator pizza and he was in heaven. There was an abundance of ingredients on both pizzas which made the $20 for an 8 piece pizza worth every dollar. The best part of the pizza was the crust. The crust can make or break a pizza and it only enhanced the ingredients. WOW! I had to have the butterscotch cake again. It takes a little while because they are made to order and it was well worth the wait. This was a very pleasant surprise and we will be returning and bringing friends. read more

I came here last night with a couple of friends and had a great experience! We were told it would be a ten minute wait, but were seated within two minutes. We sat outside, in the front, which was a very nice set up. At first the blinds were down, which gave us some nice privacy. Later the blinds were lifted, which at first I was not a fan of, but it did allow us to see a beautiful sunset. Our server was very personable an friendly. He started off by telling us that he has tried the whole menu, so we could rely on him for recommendations and suggestions. The three of us ended up splitting the Shaved Brussels salad and the Artichoke heart pizza. The salad was very finely chopped, and the addition of the green apples and dates gave it such a nice, refreshing, summer feel! The pizza was also excellent! Everything on it was fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend trying out Doughbird if you are in the area. I can't wait to comeback to try more items on the menu! read more

SKIP IT!! That is my overall review of this place. It was our 1st, last an only time we will be eating here. It is WILDLY OVERPRICED. Service was mediocre. We had to get up from our table a couple of times to get our servers attention. As for the food, its OK. The Prime Rib dip was tiny for the almost $24. The Rotisserie Chicken was the only thing we ordered that didn't make us feel we were getting ROBBED, it was $22. 4 tiny chicken tenders cost almost $19 and an extra $1 for an extra sauce. They were cooked perfectly and tasted good, but so does Canes. We ordered an appetizer, truffle cheese bread and it was $14. It was fantastic. but again ridiculously small. It was about 5" × 7" piece sliced into 6 finger sized strips. Complete RIP OFF. You can argue all day that the quality is probably better, but when you walk out of a restaurant starving after you've paid more than $120 it's better to just buy your own ingredients and stay home. It's a NO. There are many, many, many other small business, upscale restaurants who do a better job and dont starve you. FEEDBACK FOR THE RESTAURANT DIRECTLY.... If you want to charge those prices, you really need to consider putting more food on the plate. read more

No photos but the food was great! Atmosphere was so chill around 8 pm. Waited about five min for a table, only because I asked to be away from the door. I'll try the patio on a cool night! Never caught my servers name but he took our order, cleared our plates and kept our water full. We skipped the apps and went straight to the entree because they close at 9 and I didn't want to be anymore of an imposition. I ordered the grilled Chilean salmon and it was delicious! Sweet potatoes, crispy brussel sprouts and a buttery vinaigrette...I think there was some sort of quinoa or a grain on the plate but IDK, it was good! Lol...
