    Summer Bird Sangria

Great service from Abby. Attentive and warm. She made ordering easy. I got the Paloma and a glass of white sangria. Both made well and so so yummy. Food was great. Wings and truffle fries were awesome. I prefer wet and my date got dry. Dry was flavorful and tasty. Still prefer wet tho. Truffle cheese bread not as good. Something was off. I also noticed ed the wings tasted good but different. Idk if the recipes have changed but the food was perfect before :/ idk why there would need to be a change. The HH menu has been changed...AGAIN. Thankfully whoever changed it knew what they were doing. Wings are back and they were sorely missed. Hopefully they stay!!! The game was on which was nice. Chill atmosphere with yummy food!!!

Busy considering it was a Sunday late afternoon. We had a reservation and were seated promptly at that time. The heirloom watermelon salad (with added chicken) was delicious! (As was the frozen cherry limeade mocktail, but was a touch too sweet for my personal taste. My dining companion thought it was not overly sweet though.) The salad had a lot of flavor, with the watermelon, pistachio, french feta, za'atar, champagne vinaigrette and heirloom tomatoes blending beautifully. Service was excellent and friendly. We were checked in on several times, but not obtrusively. Despite lots of people, we could hear ourselves talk and felt relaxed.

I had the Thai Chicken Salad. It was delicious with just a hint of spiciness. The Strawberry Piña was very refreshing and not too sweet. Lively atmosphere but still conducive to conversation. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

We went here because the other 2 places we tried going to were too long of a line (they just opened). We were pleasantly surprised with this place. I had heard about it once in passing but never really looked it up or anything. Every employee we came in contact with was so very nice and helpful when it came to our kids. I loved how the interior looked and it's nice and bright inside from natural lighting from the windows. The food was outstanding. There was not a bad thing to say about anything in our experience. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. My favorites were the pimento cheese dip, shishito peppers and the steak frites. We will be back.

I love this place! I get the Brussel sprouts with bacon and onion plus a pizza- so good every time. Dad like the chicken. Both approved on the drink! this was something with tequila the waiter recommended I usually prefer vodka but I would order this again.

Had the opportunity to try Doughbird today. From what I gathered, they've been in Tucson for about two years and are part of a smaller chain operating in three states. The space is clean, bright, and thoughtfully laid out, with an open feel and a cool sports bar area. Service was friendly and attentive--our server did a great job. The food was tasty, but I didn't feel it was a good value for the price. In my opinion, each entrée was about $5 higher than fair. The mac & cheese was flavorful, and the chicken fingers had great texture and taste, but for $20 there wasn't much meat. I understand prices have risen everywhere, but this still felt excessive. I'd be willing to come back and try something different if friends wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Enjoyed Doughbird as part of Sonoran Restaurant Week. They were offering a great deal with items that can be regularly found on their menu. So first up we picked the appetizer of chicken wings. You can choose dry rub or buffalo sauce and our amazing server Matthew recommended dry rub with buffalo sauce on side. Follow this advice!! The wings are not scrawny and the dry rub gets a crispy skin with good bite, then dipping into sauce gives extra flavor with as my daughter pointed out, less mess. Sauce had nice kick to it. For entrees the daughter picked the spicy pasta and I got a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was huge! Enough for a second meal. It has the smaller pepperoni pieces on it, that bake to that nice crispy fry which is so much better than large greasy pieces. Good crust. The daughters pasta was good, and a healthy recommended serving size (ie, she ate a slice of my pizza after ) but it came with a lot of sauce, which was nice to dip the pizza crust into. The sonoran week special ends with a dessert, and once again took Matthew's recommendation of the butterscotch cake with vanilla bean gelato. The gelato was delicious, nice and smooth. The butterscotch cake had a crunchy outside with a moist inside, covered in sauce. If the daughter hadn't been so full she would have licked the plate. Will be back to try the chicken sandwich, which Matthew highly recommended. Ambiance is also lovely and the patio is great for beautiful days/evenings.

We came here for Valentine's Day dinner which is also our wedding anniversary. We made an early reservation at 4pm and it was a nice easy in and out. The food was great! Easily the best pizza I've had in Tucson. It was even better the next day! My husband got the prime rib dip sammie it was 24$ and there was not $24 worth of meat on the sandwich, that was our only negative. Otherwise our server was excellent the taste of the food was excellent and the restaurant is nice with a nice bar and outdoor seating. We will be back!

Food was good. The ambiance was ok, kind of dark for my liking but ok. We got sat right away and out food didn't take to long to come out. The chicken potstickers were my fav and would def order again!

I've been wanting to come here for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent and they have a large dog friendly patio that welcomed my 97 poodle. The staff was super friendly and they even let me order some chicken for my dog. Which was so good that I even had to steal the bite. I will nut. The dog was not happy. Definitely coming back to this place.

Pretty expensive for what it is. My friends like this restaurant though so we met for dinner. We ordered a margherita pizza and chicken tenders. Both were very good. Tenders come with an incredible coleslaw, very fresh and beautifully seasoned. Pizza was super tasty. Their Detroit style crust rocks. We topped it off with their brookie. Now that was a mistake. It is unnecessarily super duper sweet. I liked the chewiness of some parts of it whereas other parts were hard and crunchy. Service was pretty attentive until we were abandoned by our waitress after we paid the bill. We set for about an hour afterwards just catching up. It would have been nice if were offered some more water

This place is a staple in the north side for sure. Today came in at 5:25pm and man did it get so busy so fast on a Thursday. Definitely might have to wait during the dinner hour but inside is nice. Casual but also classy with a large bar and open kitchen. Food is always good, but I do think the prices are a bit high. I ordered the chicken parm with truffle orzo and that orzo was DELICIOUS! Hefty price of $26 for the meal but was very delicious so if you want to fork out the money it's a good choice. We always order the shishito for a starter and comes with a very unique, creamy umami sauce. We will be back!

Had to remember to take a picture. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it!

Very well balanced, a lot of effort went into it. We had 30 min wait in small upstairs area for our table on a Thursday night. They don't have much waiting area, most nights you have to wait outside. It was over a 100 after the sun went down, so I'm glad there was room available. Ordered the vodka chicken Parmesan and the burrata. They were both amazing. The pasta that came with the chicken Parmesan was super tender light, tasted fresh. Their pasta is all handmade daily. All the ingredients were simple and fresh for the burrata. The pesto was chunky and gave a good texture contrast. The tomatoes were very flavorful, olive oil and balsamic were all high quality. Very flavorful dish. I liked that you could order a half order. We wanted to try it, with two entrees a full order would have been too much. I would definitely return for both. Tried the pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño pizza and it was good as well. It's very toasty and dark on the crust, made in a a very high temperature pizza oven. We had some leftover pizza to take home. I was definitely more impressed with their pasta, good handmade pasta at an affordable price is hard to find. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area and try other items. My sister ordered a salad and she had to modify some things due to her auto immune condition. It got screwed up, but the server was so apologetic and they fixed it. It wasn't the end of the world to us. She kinda deals with this all the time since her diet is super restrictive. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, checking in with us. Make it feel worthwhile. The service is a joke, sometimes someone will greet you, sometimes maybe not. It used to be you could walk into a place, even 15 minutes before they closed, and order food. Not so much with this place( and it's a pizza place ?!!?)-which is odd because you'd think they want money. I digress. I've gone in, in the past, half hour before closed, and been told they were out of dough! Pizza place out of the main ingredient. Obviously bad meal prep, planning, mgmt, -however you want to plate it. -Now-, there's an ordering system online to , idk, 'help things be orderly ' , maybe. You can't even go on 50 minutes before they close and place an order. What a joke. ...Likely to put out that image of high demand, the rarest , most prized, kneaded dough by Swedish monks,, that you must plan a day ahead if you want to partake in. More likely, they'll start tagging on service charges and having slightly inflated prices through online ordering. BET.

We were seated right away since it wasn't busy, and things started off simple enough with bread and oil. We asked for parmesan to go with it, and our server seemed unsure how to respond, eventually bringing out packet parm even though fresh was clearly available. Not a huge deal, but we found it odd. A little later, we asked for more bread. The server told us they were out but, "that they could probably make more". . He relayed it to the woman handling bread, who then made more for another table and skipped us entirely. He mentioned it again to her when he saw us looking in their direction. she looked over, and still nothing. It was awkward, since the restaurant is the size of a closet. Once the pizza came, we got up ourselves to ask for more oil and parmesan, since our waiter hadn't come to check back. We got the oil instantly since we brought us the bowl, but no parmesan. At one point my son asked for bread, again, finally it came and the server literally tossed it on the table without a word. We said thank you and he completely ignored all of us. It didn't get any better from there. The bill was dropped on the table without a word either. My husband and I kept looking at each other with confused looks. We turned the bill in with our CC, and once the server returned it, same thing, not a single interaction. We also watched the same server make another table feel like an inconvenience over something as simple as asking for a bottle of Coke instead of a can. The customer ended up backing down just to avoid the hassle. The server then told the guest, "it's fine, I can get it for you!" On top of that, staff were wearing gloves while handling food, but also touching chairs, phones, and other surfaces; kind of defeats the purpose I think? My boys also had a weird interaction with a staff near the bathrooms who was very rude to them and accused them of cutting the line, despite no one waiting. It was very strange. Bottom line: the food is incredible, no question. But the service was so bad it's hard to ignore. Best advice, get it to go and skip the experience inside.

Absolutely Worth the Drive!…read more We were visiting from West Phoenix and decided to try Falora Pizza, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely worth the drive. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's beautiful inside and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The music was lovely, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Bianca pizza, Gnocchi, Piastra zucchini noodles, two sodas, and a Prosecco. Everything we tried was so good! The pizza crust was one of my favorite parts. It was cooked perfectly and had that nice little crunch without being too hard. The Margherita was delicious, and the Bianca was just as good. The Piastra zucchini noodles with house-made pesto, heirloom cherry tomatoes and spinach were AMAZING! I'm honestly still thinking about them. The Gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, vegetable broth and ginger glaze was also delicious and something a little different. We had four dishes, drinks and Prosecco, and our total was under $99, which I thought was a great price for everything we enjoyed. I also thought it was really cool that when you check out, there's an option to claim a neighborhood reward through Cash App that can be used with participating local businesses or toward coming back to Falora. I love seeing ways to support local businesses and the neighborhood. Overall, we had such a great experience. We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

It's the kind of place that works perfectly for date night, a special occasion, or even just treating yourself to a really good meal. The hospitality really stood out to me. Everyone was welcoming and made the entire experience feel comfortable and thoughtful. And the food was easily the highlight. Everything we tried was packed with flavor and tasted fresh. I also really appreciated having options for different lifestyles. If you're looking for something lower carb, definitely check out the zoodle dishes. They still had so much flavor and didn't feel like you were missing out on anything. My personal favorite was the pesto ravioli. The pesto was so flavorful and it's absolutely something I would order again. If you're in Tucson and looking for a cozy spot with great hospitality, an intimate atmosphere, and genuinely delicious food, Renée's is definitely worth checking out. Perfect for your next date night or a treat yourself evening. I'm already looking forward to going back!

Just like the salad the pizza sauce was globbed on the top of the pizza over all the ingredients. Maybe that's the style but not mine. Lasagna wasn't very okay-good. Focaccia was good. Price didn't match quality in my opinion. Staff was nice. Nothing bad just expected a little more refinement.
