Dragon Casa was really good, definitely worth the 1+ hour wait. It was smaller inside than I thought it'd be but I really liked the vibe and decor. My favorites were the regular xiao long bao and the kung pao tacos! The chips were like fried wontons or some type of rice paper, the green salsa was like a traditional mexican salsa (not too spicy) while the red was like a sweet and sour sauce! All the food was really good, but we found the birria items to be a bit salty, especially the birria fried rice. The wagyu beef dumplings were okay, nothing special... The menu has a ton of options and it was really hard to select what we wanted, we definitely over ordered, but it was all so good I'd definitely go back and try some other items. read more

Visited on a Saturday evening and when we pulled up there was a fairly large crowd outside. We were told the wait would be about 45 min but we only waited about 30 min. It was worth the wait. Great ambience, very clean and friendly staff. We ordered all the birria items on the menu except the birria egg rolls because we were told they were sold out. We enjoyed everything we ate. Very flavorful and everything on the menu sounded delicious. We will be back again to try the orange chicken tacos. Highly recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed. Love Dragon House so was excited to check out Dragon Casa which is a fusion of Asian and Mexican food. We picked a few staples found at Dragon House such as the hand pulled noodles and Xiao long Bao. The dumplings were full and delicious. The noodles were a hit with the kids but a bit thicker than the original location. Then we tried a few new items. The wagyu beef dumpling was my least favorite since it felt like I was just eating a giant meatball, but if you're the type that enjoys the meat-to-dumpling ratio to be larger, you'll love this! The Kung pao chicken tacos were good but I'm not sure if I truly enjoyed the fusion - loved the cook of both though! The chocolate baos were also a hit with the kids but beware they do come out piping hot so be careful! Staff was friendly but weren't too attentive - I had to ask for our spoons, chopsticks and napkins. Since they are newer we figured they're still working through the kinks. The decor is cute and inside had plenty of seating. If this picks up, I'll be concerned with the very limited number of restrooms though (only 2 stalls!) Came here after seeing all the hype on tiktok and I live literally around the corner. We came in on Valentines Day - expecting it to be chaotic. But the place is run like a well oiled machine. We were sat fast and served food I wanna say less than 10 minutes after we ordered. The food is to die for! I haven't had buns or dumplings this good since moving from NYC. Service took a long time, and the interior decor was not so interesting that I could stand the wait. Plus, for such a large restaurant, there were two toilets in total.. Orange Chicken Tacos (On Flour Tortilla): 10/10 - would definitely get it AGAIN! The flavors together were so good and the green and red sauce were surprisingly good on it as well. Green Salsa had no spice and red salsa had some spice. Birria Fried Rice: 7/10 - the presentation was nothing like the videos seen which was kinda sad because of them blowing up with their birria options but the flavor and smell were there so that's all that really mattered. I will say we did have a a good amount of fatty pieces from the birria meat though. Dim Sum Dumpling Sampler (pan fried): 6/10 the different colors were cute but the seafood one was alright, not sure what kind of seafood was in it. Veggie one was NOT it for me, but I'm a meat girl so I may just be biased. Chicken one was good but the chicken texture in it was soft. Same for the pork, flavor was good but the pork was soft for anyone with texture sensitivity. Overall had a great experience with great service. I love coming here! A fusion of my two favorite cuisines, I couldn't ask for much more! Disappointed they do not take reservations so I am nervous for when I bring a bigger group for my birthday coming up. I wish they kept their drink menu they had so many great drinks and now it appears to be soju. Everything comes out hot and fresh. Greatly disappointed because I wanted to eat at home without noticeably increasing coughs that are so common this part of the year. I hope it will be an option very soon for neighbors who want to order delicious food to-go. There was a 15 minute wait for a table even though there were a few tables available but I understand you don't want to overwhelm your waitstaff. I ordered Egg Drop Soup. I did not like it but it's a flavor preference. If I could order to-go, would order for my family. They love EDS. First time for me. The Birria Fried Egg Rice is 10/10. We split the birria noodles and a few other things--our service took a very long time to get everything and the dessert never came, so we just skipped it and left. But the tea was good, food was good, serving sizes were good. I'd go back for the orange chicken tacos but not for the duck. The calamari wasn't fried fully, the birria noodle consomé wasn't very flavorful & underwhelming , so I had to save it through the additional spices. Service was bad.... I understand it's Mother's Day but we didn't even know who our waitress was. Tables that were sat after us got their food first. Everyone at our table was not served together. People at our table had to wait almost an hour for a burrito. The orange chicken was dry, like it sits under a heat lamp all day. Was very loud, couldn't hear people at my table conversation. This spot opened up in the neighborhood and we had to try. Sister restaurant to the famous Dragon House. First we had the Birria Noodle Soup and oh my gosh.... Literally THE BEST birria ramen/birria pho/birria whatever soup we've ever had and we try it anytime we see it on any menu! This alone will have me recommending this place to everyone and will have us coming back multiple times a week!!! Especially with the winter upcoming! The ShuMai was amazing, my hubby's favorite. Paired perfectly well with the dumpling sauce they keep at the table. Soup Dumplings is another food I try anywhere I go and I am super picky about them... I rank theirs top 2 if not all time best!! We loved how the pork pan fried bao buns had broth in them, not a lot of places do that. Without the broth it can taste too dough-y. We finished off with the chocolate filled soup dumplings but forgot to snap a pic. Very rich but so so good. I couldn't be happier with this place, everything we ate was DELICIOUS. It is decorated so cool on the outside and the inside. My only suggestion is it was extremely bright in there, they had super white/bright track lights on in addition to their other ambiance lights and it was kind of overpowering and kind of took away from the vibe a bit but I do appreciate lighting to see what we are eating. Our server was incredibly inattentive--he never checked on us, didn't put our order in, and offered no apology or accountability at any point. We watched multiple tables who arrived after us get their cocktails and full meals while we sat there waiting. After 45+ minutes, we still never received our actual dinner, and no one bothered to explain the delay. We ultimately left extremely frustrated and disappointed. The food we did get was decent, but certainly not enough to make up for the terrible service. I genuinely wanted to like this place, but the experience was unacceptable from start to finish.
