quite an ok price, but very courteous, flexible and the guy knows what he's doing. they'll even wear shoe-covers inside your house (some other services will refuse) if you ask them too. if you have time doing plumbing - getting underneath the sink, spend like 2-3 hrs, i'd say go do it yourself. but for those others who don't have time or simply don't want to go back & forth to home depot (as normally the case with me), be prepared to spend $125-$150 for fixing/replacing faucet. read more

I am so happy that I made the right choice to call Ed. We had a rental property and one week after the leasing date the main sewer clogged. I called city, but water is still backed up even after city took the roots out of the clean out (close to side walk). With renters in the house unable to use the bathroom, it's a lot of stress on me. Most Outstanding work! We had a main line clog on New Years Eve (2010). AHS sent someone out NY Day. They tried to snake it from one end of the house and then thru the roof vent (no existing clear out) with 100 ft of snake, but it didn't clear the drain. It needed more work that's not covered by AHS. After simmering for another day without toilets, shower, kitchen sink & minimal water usage (due to slow draining), we yelped and found Drain Masters. We liked the review's and his quote over the phone was very attractive (33% less than another quote). We made an appointment for Monday morning. He came on time at 09:30 and before lunchtime: cleared the blockage, snaked it, put in a clear out, video'd the line and re-snaked it and cleaned up everything. The bill came out to what he quoted! Dave came and tried to help me to fish out the lost snake with his own snake. It wasn't successful as expected. But he did help me locate where the lost snake is and suggest a DIY approach. Where others failed, Drain Masters prevailed! We had a clogged up kitchen drain. The previous company that we called were very pleasant and professional but they were unsuccessful. In fact they wanted to blast through to our bathroom to the tune of $850. ((I cannot the company.) Anyway, our drain did challenge Drain Masters, but they cleared it without tearing down a wall. We called Drain Masters yesterday because our drains were backing up and sludge was coming up out of the sink. They said they would be by within 90 minutes and actually got here in less than 30. Thanks for the fast response. Anyway, it is an old house and the sewer lines are not in the best of shape. Edward, the owner, was on the call and after some investigation, he gave it to us straight. We needed the sewer line snaked. Unfortunately, the clean out was not accessible due to some non permitted construction some time in the past so he would need to remove one of the toilets, snake the line, then reset the toilet. As an option, he said he would be able to cut through the exterior of the house in order to access the clean out. After snaking the sewer line, he would then add some additional length to the sewer line so that it extended to the exterior of the house. He would then restucco the wall so that it was good as new. Although more expensive, we opted for this option because it was a better long term solution. Anyway, he got to work first with a 75 ft snake. Not long enough so he called in one of his workers with the big boy...the 175 ft snake. Bingo. After a couple of hours of hard work - success. He showed us what the problem was. Roots had grown into the sewer line and constricted the opening until water no longer was able to flow through the line. He patched things up as promised and now we are good as new. Edward was polite, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to be around. I can't think that I have had a better, more positive experience. read more

I wish I could give this company a negative 10 stars. I had a water main leak in my front yard. I called them and they came right away. They saw I was a vulnerable single woman and tried to take advantage of me. When I realized how much they were going to overcharge me I immediately called and cancelled. They called right back and had someone else come over to try to talk me into it and took $1200 off the price. $1200 was more than the total amount I paid to have the work done! They were going to charge me more than 5 times what another company did the work for! I would never do business with Drain Masters and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. read more

For the past couple of months our toilet had a slow drain, and despite every effort to plunge it and use gels and the like to get it to drain properly, nothing would work. My husband and I have been battling the drain from the garage sink for the last several months... talk about a source of frustration! We've called other plumbers - but their idea of helping unclog this stupid drain was by charging us for a quote to REPIPE our entire house. This is not what we needed - we just had a stubborn drain. its a little bit childish bashing someone else's company giving us negative ratings and saying a bunch of untrue things like we dont have a license or we dont know what we are doing when youve never seen our work or heard about our work from anyone else, you dont know if we do or do not have a license. if your company is so good then let your work stand and show for itself instead of coming to someone elses business page and trying to bad mouth us and try to represent your own company on our site. when you make a business they let you know what names are available. companies in the same area have name differences by one letter all the time thats life, get over it and stop crying, if you have more complaints you should find us on the cover of the phone book, our business office is on there too we would more then love to show you our licenses. we are new to the area and i have been plumbing for over 30 years and most of my staff have been doing it for 5+years with license as well. i hate giving out bad reviews cause i know it hurts businesses, but this is fair. be more mature then a 5 year old read more
