We've been coming to Dream Pet Grooming for 3 years now. Sonny always does such a great job on Mochi's haircuts. The other stylists are good but we prefer Sonny. The only problem we've had was Mochi's lip was cut, but they told us right away and comped the service. We've not had any other problems since then and have continued to take mochi. I feel they specialize in mini poodle haircuts and even had a board for different hair lengths when first consulting on the style you want your dog cut. read more

We've been going to this dog spa since Archie's very first grooming, and overall it's been a good experience. The groomers are friendly, professional, and always make Archie come home looking handsome. The location is also very convenient since it's close to our home. One thing to note is that the pricing has changed over time. What started at $60 is now $98, and the cost seems to vary with each grooming, which can be a bit confusing. There have also been a few occasions when Archie's nails were missed, which I hope can be improved moving forward. Overall, we appreciate the quality of the grooming and the staff, and just hope for more consistency with pricing and services. My little shih tzu has been coming to Dream Pet Grooming for over a year. We've been to a few other places before settling in at Dream Pet for all her grooming needs. Dream Pet does the best job on our puppy. Mochi always look fantastic and adorable when finished. Mochi always gets either a ribbon, a hair bow, or even cute little hair clips when finished. Our doggie is like a cat and does not like water. However, the staff at Dream Pet always takes such good care of her. The staff is very patient with her and Mochi responds very well to them. Mochi also knows she gets a treat when she's all done. As per the other reviews, it is true we need to pick up Mochi as soon as they are done. So we always pick a day when we are ready to pick her up at a moment's notice. They are pretty consistent when it comes to finishing up from the time of drop off. If Mochi's getting a full haircut, then she'll definitely be around 2 hours. If it's a bath + trim, probably within 1.5 hours. Other places I've been to, it's all over the place. Sometimes I have to wait 5+ hours for Mochi to be done because they aren't ready to work with her until 3 hours later. But at Dream Pet, they always start working with Mochi as soon as we drop off, so the timing is very consistent. Hence the 5-star review. read more

Dream Pet Grooming was the first groomer we took my dog Olly to. I've brought him here several times since and have always found the staff to be friendly, even though I didn't always love his haircuts. The last experience was an absolute nightmare. A few things bothered me but weren't egregious; his ears were uneven and unappealing, and huge patches were shaved off his chest and behind his neck, which they did without asking or explaining when I picked him up. But when we got home, I noticed that something around his groin was bothering him a lot, and he wouldn't stop licking it. I looked closer to find several red marks on and around his penis. Most were small, while a few were longer and more visible. He kept crying and trying to lick the spots all night. We spoke with the owner the following day. She mentioned that Olly was moving during grooming, which made it difficult to cut his ears. She also mentioned that the patches were due to matted spots before passing the phone off to the groomer who had worked on Olly, who said much of the same. Keep in mind that I de-matted Olly myself prior to his appointment because I didn't want them shaving him. They should have at least asked for permission before shaving him. Nevertheless, neither the groomer nor the owner took responsibility for the marks on his groin. Similar to the owner's responses to the other reviews here, they tried to tell us that the cuts were already there. When we mentioned that the marks were not there before bringing him in and that they were bothering him all night, we were told to bring him to the vet if we were worried about him. There was nothing they could have said that would convince me to take Olly back there, but a simple apology would have been the bare minimum. I don't post reviews often, but I feel that it is necessary for other pet owners to know that Dream Pet will not take responsibility for their actions. read more

Brought my maltipoo in for first time I explained to them she's never been in before she would have som anxiety. Not even 30 mins later they call me to come get my dog telling me she's to difficult. I explained to them she's never been in. They simply gave up on my baby and left her looking like this and had the audacity to want me to pay them $65 when it's $70 for a full groom at other places here they quoted me $83. Dream Pet Grooming is the BEST in OC! When we adopted our pup April in 2021 she had very matted hair from her time as a stray that caused lots of damage to her fur. I've been bringing my dog Mochi (17 lbs, nearly 13 yo, Maltese mix Shih Tzu) for the last few years and have an amazing experience every time. He goes regularly every 2-3 months for a haircut, always looking so handsome and smelling amazing with a bow when he's done. Staff are incredibly kind, warm, joyful, and welcoming. They understand he can sometimes be a grumpy and talkative old grandpa. Every time they ask if there are any modifications that I'd like to make to his normal regular cut, they adjust to any changes without hesitations or problems at all. Mochi hates getting groomed, but I think the fact that they never forget to offer him a treat when I pick him up, makes it all worth it to him. Highly recommend them! We have been coming here a few times now and we have had good experiences. The prices seem pretty good and the haircuts are pretty consistent. We have received compliments on our dogs haircut from our vet and my sister (who is also a vet). Obviously as a vet you see a lot of dogs so I take that as high praise coming from them. The place is pretty small but it seems very clean. The staff are friendly and they communicate well with us to make sure we know when she will be ready. There is only one challenge with the location though. The parking lot is always crowded and so it is pretty hard to find parking. Multiple times it was lucky we drove over there as a couple - 1 person stayed in the car (essentially double parked) while the other went in, got the baby and paid for the haircut. I would have given 5 stars but there are a couple areas that I feel are lacking. This place is great but they do not express glands. Because of this I have to book a separate appointment with another place which is not a deal breaker but is inconvenient and ends up costs me more money and time. The other area which is a small challenge is the way my dog smells after the haircut. She's a girl and often times smells like men's cologne after she's done with her haircut. It's pretty strong and so we have to wipe her down when we get home. If we don't the whole couch and blankets will smell like it for a few days after. We look forward to continuing to come here for good and affordable grooming. read more
