I was worried that they wouldn't do well but multiple people assured us that they did fine which really speaks to how gentle and patient they are with every pup. The one thing to keep in mind is that you will need a physical record of rabies shot with an expiration date. They almost did not take our email proof despite having this information. This was my first time known that grooming charge for day care. My appointment is around 10:00 am, they called me for ready pick up is at 12:34 pm.Only two hours later, I received message from them at 14:26pm, they told me they will charge me for day care. When I picked up at 4:20 pm, they charged me additional for day care $20 , and they said my dog stayed whole day, From 10:00am to 12:34pm should belong to day care time? No!! From their message they say nothing about my dog's status, they only told me they will charge day care and they are not doggie day care, not friendly If you have very strict policy, please let your customers know before grooming. The staff is friendly and I had no issues with them up until the last few visits. On the 2nd to last visit, my dog had been cut up a few times. I mentioned it to them and they said it's because he was moving a lot. Sure, I let that one go. I know it can be difficult to groom dogs and accidents happen. I took him this past Saturday again and asked for them to cut his hair short, especially on his face and reminded them to be careful not to cut him. The following day my dog started having symptoms of ear infection. He kept shaking his head and scratching his ears. It was Easter Sunday so I couldn't call to let them know. When I called today the lady who picked up the phone told me they put cotton balls in their ears so they don't get wet. Well the ears can still get wet and clearly they did and now they are infected. She also said i asked for his hair to be short on the face, which has nothing to do with his ears getting infected. Not to mention they cut him right above his eye. She didn't even offer a refund or discount for the next time I bring him in. This will be the last time I take him here to get groomed. I've never had this happen anywhere else. Idk how these people wash or handle the dogs but clearly not well. Now I will have a hefty vet bill on top of $80 for grooming. Will not be back. Update: took him to doctor and they confirmed both ears were infected due to water. On top of grooming fee, I had to pay an additional $100 because this place neglected his ears. They also confirmed groomers didn't clean ears so they had to do that as well. I posted image of infected ear and bill. Ear infection photo isn't allowing to get posted. read more

I've been taking my sweet boy to Petsmart for grooming because it's convenient but decided it's time to find a groomers that specialize in just grooming. Let me tell you, look for a groomers instead of going to Petsmart! I was always nervous before dropping him off at Petsmart because there would be times where he'd come home with nicks so I'm so glad I decided to go to Dream Pet Grooming! Their customer service is 11/10. I had called on a day they were off and the owner (I believe) was nice enough to send me a message stating that they were closed for the day but still took the time and answered some questions that I had. The following day I called to make an appointment and I really appreciated that she asked what my pups breed and size was to give an estimated price at the end without me even asking. It's always nice to just have an idea of how much something will be. I was able to make an appointment for the following day after and we had a great experience overall. One thing that stood out to me was that they were able to cut his nails as short as possible without nipping him. I'm not sure if I was just used to his previous groomers (always came back nipped or look like his nails were still long). Overall I love the way my dog looks and he seems very happy. They also sent him home with a baby blue ribbon which I thought was a cute touch haha. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Very friendly staff but awful haircut! Just moved to Orange County so this was our first time here and after reading all the great reviews, I knew this would be our new groomer in orange county. I asked what I normal ask for which is a puppy cut + round teddybear face, I even provided pictures of previous haircuts. Not sure what happened here but I was shocked when i picked him up. My dog is a 14 year old senior. You want me to have my dog locked in a cage for 4 hours before you even get to him? Your comment is a PRIME example of your lack of customer service. You guys messed by getting the time wrong and can't own up to it. And believe me, we have found a new groomer and I've already told all our neighbors/friends in the Great Park not to take their dogs to your business. An apology would go lengths. I've found our new family groomer! Another establishment that I will not name bathed our dog but did not cut her incredibly long hair. Explanation was that we hadn't signed up for haircut! No call, no common sense. Anyway, trying to FIND a groomer who would unbundle services was not easy. Sunny at Dream was wonderful! Got us a same day appointment so our sweet dog could get some relief from the heat, and WOW! What a wonderful job!! I have two dogs: one that's extremely emotionally fragile whenever being groomed and the other that's a shedding machine. I've gone to Dream Pet Grooming a few times before writing this review to make sure that the experience was consistent. The owner, despite being busy, managed to be SO GENTLE gentle with my nervous pup! I can tell because when I brought him back, he wasn't shaking with fear. He likes the groomer, which is a great sign! As to the grooming, they both came back looking CUTE as a button! For my fluffy shih-tzu mix, I like the "puppy cut" (more rounded face, not too short body cut) and that is exactly what I got. My Frenchie, who sheds like crazy, was DE-SHEDDED like I've never seen! They spent an hour and a half getting out the fur from his undercoat. The pricing is more AFFORDABLE than a mobile groomer. I also like that the space has an open layout so you can see the puppies being groomed. You can tell that all the staff are dog lovers and treat them kindly! If you live in the Irvine area, I think you should absolutely give Dream Pet Grooming a shot! read more

I entrusted my dog with them with how I would like the chosen style. The groomer even had a wall display of the shortness of coat the owner preferred. I was impressed. I received a call to pick up my dog two in a half hours after I dropped him off and was elated to see my style instruction followed to the tea, exactly. I was full of smiles.
