Lots of sauces included with my bento
    Maria L.

Came here for lunch before catching a movie on Friday around noon. They're at the corner of the food court, right next to Ruby Thai, and they weren't busy at all. Order was placed using the self-service kiosk. Two staff were doing the cooking. I had the Pork Meat Sauce Bento, which was a pretty good deal at $9.99. I was presently surprised that the Shanghai bok choy was cooked to order. (It took about 10 minutes to get my order.) The spring roll was warm and not oily. The meat sauce was pretty authentic. I liked that it's on the less salty side, and they provided you with lots of sauces so you could adjust the saltiness/spiciness level yourself. While I wished there's more meat sauce, the meat to rice ratio was decent. The pickles were pretty standard. I didn't care for the bland mantou with condensed milk, though. I wished they provided the option to substitute the buns with more veggies and an option to have less rice, as I was trying to eat less carb. Not a bad choice for a quick meal.

The Beef Shank & Tendon Noodle Soup and Popcorn Chicken are very delicious, especially the handmade noodles! #红烧牛肉面 #盐酥鸡

Food I ordered here was mid. I expected more for the prices they charge for soups. I ordered pork chop noodle soup with extra veggies and extra spicy. The handmade noodles were undercooked, they had no chew to them at all. The pork chop was dry and weirdly sweet. The one thing that redeemed the dish was the extra spicy broth. Had a nice bit of numbing spice to it. Wintermelon lemonade was also pretty good. Overall, I wouldn't choose this option at the food court again.

Overall a good choice for the mall. We tried a variety of things and would get them all besides the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as Shinlin which is down the hall. The fried rice is made to order so it was really good. You can't replicate a good gas wok when making fried rice. The flavor is just better! Definitely will come back at some time.

Stumbled across this Blossom Hill spot after a buddy raved about their catering, and wow, the food hits. Super authentic Taiwanese flavor, no watered‑down stuff. We ordered a big tray of 红烧牛肉面 for a small get‑together and it was the star of the night. The beef shank was soft and delicious, like melt‑in‑your‑mouth level, and the noodles had the right texture - chewy but not tough, no mushy nonsense. Broth was rich, super comforting, you can taste the depth. Everyone kept going back for "just one more" scoop lol. Delicious food, easy pickup, chill people. Always enjoyed it so far, and definitely using them again whenever I need to feed a crowd :)

We are big fans of the Oakridge mall food court. I have tried almost all the food stalls at the food court except for a few. Now I can cross off Duan's Kitchen off the list. We arrived for a Saturday early dinner at Duan's Kitchen. The food stall is located at the Oakridge mall in San Jose. Parking is easy and accessible in the large parking lot surrounding the mall. We ordered shrimp fried rice, popcorn chicken, shrimp dumplings and shrimp siu mai. Everything is delicious and tasted like they came from an authentic dim sum restaurant. My favorite was the popcorn chicken which was crispy and tender. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Duan's Kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful. We don't have to just go to a dim sum restaurant to have some legit dim sum food. We can just go to the mall and straight to the food court at Oakridge for some tasty dim sum. We will definitely be back to try the other food items on the menu.

I had a craving for Taiwanese braised ground pork rice and my Yelp directions took me straight to the Oakridge Mall in San Jose. It's a place located in my the food court. The restaurant has several meal choices, with side favorites like xai long bao. The pork bento box was quite tasty, with braised ground pork, vegetables, small egg roll, kimchi, sweet steamed bread, and I also ordered the popcorn chicken as a side dish. Try it out if you're shopping at the mall!

I had a wonderful experience at Dian's Kitchen. The food was absolutely delicious, with rich, authentic flavors that really stood out in every dish. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. The service was also warm and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and everything felt smooth and well-organized. Overall, Dian's Kitchen is a great spot for anyone looking for comforting, flavorful food and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back!

Located in the main eatery area at Oakridge mall. We picked Duan's Kitchen since we never had and the items on the menu looked appetizing. We placed our order on the kiosk and realized there was an add on deal so we opted for that. For 2 we ordered: - Beef Meat Sauce Bento: 2.5/5 - the eggrolls were drenched in oil and soggy; the bun was okay, only had half of one; the bokchoy and kimchi were good; the meat to rice ratio was a bit sad.. we had barely any meat to even finish the rice. - Popcorn Chicken: 3.5/5 - big pieces, not bad but not great Overall, it was okay wish we didn't have to waste/toss away ~20% of the food.

Had a good time trying out this place with my mom and sister on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 pm. Not busy whatsoever that there wasn't anyone lingering around waiting for food, so I easily placed my dine in order. They have a variety of soups, bento boxes, and rice based dishes from pork, beef, or chicken. They have a bright lit signs that attract the eyes of shoppers to become diners. It took about 10 minutes for the food, so I was happy with the speed of service. We ordered a bento box, beef soup, and pork fried rice. I was very impressed by the bento box since it was only $10 but had a great variety of kimchi, bok choy, one eggroll, kimchi, 2 fried buns, and meat and rice. The kimchi was refreshing and not too strong. The fried buns were a bit hard but had great flavor from the condensed milk coating. The eggrolls weren't special, reminded me of Panda Express. The soup was underwhelming. The noodles and broth were under seasoned. Good portions but quality wasn't great. The pork fried rice could have been crispier and the rice was okay.

Pork Chop fried rice taste good

Pork Chop tastes good, not too dry, rice is soft enough. fast service and friendly staff.

We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and a part of that was because they skipped our name on the waitlist. They claimed they called it, but we were standing less than 15 feet away from the front door and never heard a thing. The music the restaurant was playing outside didn't help. Once sat inside, it is a turn-and-burn operation. Food is ordered, dropped off, payment is collected, and nothing more. Again, don't go here for the service, go for the noodles. The atmosphere is casual and bit cramped. It has a cafeteria-like feel inside and can get a little noisy.
