This is great dim sum! I love oriental food, this is spectacular, and authentic. Can't wait for my next visit!

My bf and I went to this place last night for dinner. The décor was cute and the place was small and cozy so it looked promising. We sat down and was looking through the menu. When the waitress came by to take our order, I asked her what sauce came with the dumplings. She simply said "dumpling sauce". I'm sure I had a "well duh" expression on my face. I was a bit put off by that. I'm not sure if she really understood what I was asking but it was still a bit unsettling. But there was another waitress there, who also played the hostess for a bit, that was super nice and helpful. So, hats off to her. The food was okay. It was edible but it certainly wasn't the best I've ever had. The way the present the food was nice. I liked the presentation of the dumplings. The curries were pretty awful. Like no seasoning but it was sufficiently spicy. The mango smoothie was fine and the thai iced tea was also just fine. All in all, I probably wouldn't come back here unless my bf wants to go. read more

This is the BEST Chinese Dumpling House I have ever gone to. I enjoyed the Steamed Red Bean Buns, BBQ Pork over brown rice, Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, Anything on the menue is excellent. Love Love Love it. read more

Tried several appetizers and small plates. The house special bun (with duck) was a dud! 1 slice of thin dried up duck with pickles, cabbage, etc. The slices pickle was bigger than the duck. 2 buns in 1 order; we couldn't bring ourselves to finish and asked them to send it back to the kitchen. Nobody asked us for a replacement appetizer, and we were charged though the dish was sent back. We still tipped 20% to the waiters. Pad thai was severely over cooked, soup dumplings were under par, ramen was not ramen (toppings were under the soup). This is an Asian Fusion restaurant which tries to have many signature dishes, and not one stands out as a result. read more

Soup dumplings are amazing. Bubble teas and milk teas are spot on. They have great barbecue pork and the soups/noodles with the pork are always great. Service is very attentive and they aren't bothered when you ask for a million sauces and drinks etc. The place is small and seating can fill up fast. Came here couple of days ago as was recommended by a friend. Probably the first and last time I'll visit though. We ordered a pad thai, some singaporean noodles and a miso ramen along with some appetizers. The only taste there is to the singaporean noodles was the curry powder. It was absolutely tasteless, we had to mix in soy sauce and chili powder to cope with the dish. I love japanese ramen so I was anticipating it as it was raining and i was dying for some soup but the moment the miso ramen came, it just stank so badly I had to send it back telling the waiter, the pork is rotten as the smell is just too unbearable. The waiter kindly took it back and came back to tell us the chef said it was the bamboo that was in it. I mean i've had my fair share of ramen and NONE tasted like that. So i ordered the beef soup noodles which didnt taste any better. The pad thai was okay, too sweet for my liking. The only dish that was nice was the popcorn fried chicken appetizer. The rest were a flop for us. P/S: if you request to change to a different type of noodles for your noodle soup(or whatever changes you're making to your dish) they charge you an extra $2. They did not mention it when we were ordering nor was it written on the menu. We did not know there was an extra charge until the bill came. read more

I had the bbq pork and dumpling soup ramen, it is a really big portion (which i am not complaining )and really full filling. our waiter could have been a tad friendly and could have asked how we where doing but oh well i guess. We also ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings with thai ice tea which where amazing! The service may not have been amazing but I would order to go next time , food is worth it. read more

Great dumplings and noodles, just as the name suggests. Kind of small inside. Don't leave with out a bubble tea, mango is my favorite.

I love soup dumplings so when I found out there was a local place that sold it -- I had to test it out. As expected, the soup dumplings were okay and I'd probably come back if I'm craving it and don't want to make the drive to Chinatown or Flushing. I also had the ramen and I will likely not get that again --- it tasted like instant ramen with miso broth. Overall, it was okay to temporarily satisfy a craving. read more

I wanted to like this place because they are the only restaurant in bronxville with soup dumplings, but it was so meh at best. The dumplings didn't even come out hot, they were small and you couldn't even taste any flavor. I'd rather make the trek into Chinatown than come here and order again. Nothing remarkable. Cute place but the food lacks flavor and they seemed under-staffed. There was one server for all the tables, so she came to the table once to take our order and that was that. The veggie dumplings were good but nothing special. Ramen usually has strong and developed flavors, but this one was pretty bland which I've never encountered before. The person I came with got the duck and was also disappointed. Overall, not terrible but not great. read more

Love the location, very cute and small. I would say that the dumplings are very good. I suggest the pork and vegetable. Tried the ramen and I will say that it was just ok, the miso ramen had a strong fish scent from the seaweed. Bland bland bland. Nothing was super bad, but just lacking in any type of flavor. My thai green curry was spicy in a heat kind of way, but had no taste other than that. Boyfriend's beef noodle was under the best possible scenario "ok". Plus it was really loud and an out of control toddler was climbing all over us because the tables were so close. This place is so cute ! They have these delicious scallion pancakes, which I love and a a few great vegan/vegetarian options. Our waitress was so sweet! The rest of the staff was a bit cold, and one of them forgot my drink order entirely and brought my friend the wrong dish. If it wasn't for the waitress the service here would've sucked, but she definitely made up for it with her kind attitude and sweet personality, and she hurried to correct and apologize for the other staff member's mistakes even though they weren't her fault at all! On top of that, she gave us free bubble teas to make up for it. Between the wonderful waitress and good food, we had a great experience. read more

Soup dumplings go toe to toe with Joe's Shanghai but in chilled out Bronxville vs. frenetic midtown and line laden Chinatown. Hand made sliced noodles made fresh, great chewy texture. Servers are kind, earnest and focused. Being new to Bronxville, feel super lucky to have this place close by. read more

I have been to this restaurant a total of four times. Each time I have been there either me or a friend have been disappointed with not only the food, but the service as well. Every time I've been here, I was not served my drink until mid meal. It is also hard to get the attention of any waiters/waitresses as the place is always packed and understaffed. As for the food, it tastes as if it came warped in plastic. I had the pad thai once and it was bland and the beef had a weird smell. I will not be going back. read more

OMG I've been looking for soup dumplings in Westchester and theirs did not disappoint! In fact, they were just as good as the ones in Chinatown! Trying to find a new spot for pad thai in the Bronxville area because the Thai Shack closed (it was the BEST). The chicken pad thai was terrible, had zero flavor, was incredibly dry, and had no vegetables whatsoever. I've had bland pad thai before, but this was so dry and flavorless that it was inedible. The place looks really small and I can't comment on the service because I ordered out. My bf had the pho and I had the Tom yum soup. Both were absolutely delicious. Huge portions (2 meals for us-score). My soup was supposed to be spicy- I didn't think it was but, I think I'm more immune to the taste of spice than the average person so I won't comprise the 5-star. Will definitely be ordering again soon. Maybe next time we will stay. read more

We've been to Dumpling + Noodle since finding them last year. The Japanese restaurant next door is closed and we found Dumpling + Noodle by chance. The place is small and nice. Sometimes they are very busy and other times they are empty. I try to get my family to try different appetizers, which are yummy. My daughter enjoys the duck noodle soup. I have too many favorites, my best is the desserts. I love, love, love steamed custard buns (filling, and yummy). I also enjoy the Bubble or jelly in the teas. Mango tea is yummy. My daughter had a strawberry smoothie the other day, and I'll just say it was WAY TOO SWEET!!! We enjoy and continue to return to Dumpling + noodle. They employees and the atmosphere is relaxing. The area is pleasant. Those with cars, you have meter parking on the block and on the side at the end of the block. The location is across to Lawrence Hospital. read more

I did not have a Yelp account until today. The entire reason for me opening the account was to express my complete dissatisfaction with the staff at this restaurant, and maybe save someone the terrible experience that my family and I had yesterday evening. First let me say that that this was not my only time at this restaurant, I have been going there for years, and I have been witness to its decline. Last night was when they hit rock bottom. I entered the restaurant at 6:50, and watched for 1 1/2 hours as many people were shown to there table, simply because I had a party of 5. I asked several times how much longer, and never given a clear answer. My girlfriend was treated rudely, just for asking, how much longer. I was very sad to see the very staff that I had praised before, treat us like complete strangers. Once we were finally seated, to a half cleaned table, and waiting another 10 mins to take out order, we had the unfortunate experience to get luke-warn food, coming out one plate at a time, and one the food was out, no one came back to see if we were ok, until a different server came out to say the kitchen was closed. Several attempts to get water, napkins , everything. After waiting for all that time, to get sub par foot, we had the pleasure to wait for the check. The woman in charge was disturbed with the fact that I chose to express my dissatisfaction with the service when I was trying to pay the bill, and just turned, walked away, and had someone else ring it up. I would have been ok with a simple apology, but we received nothing. I am very disappointed with the service and food, and wish the staff realized that it is up to them to be the face of the company, unfortunately, last night they failed this community. read more

I love their foods esp stir fried string beans with chicken , u could taste the real wok of cooking. I also did tried their xiao long pao , I give 5 stars! The read bean puff pastry excellent ! The waiter and waitress very polite and efficient. I will come back again for sure. read more

I'm a city girl and since moving a bit farther away I have been missing my share of Asian and dimsum foods. Imagine my surprise when I searched through yelp, found this place, and overused through the menu to find actual items that sounded like authentic Chinese dimsum! We drove there the same day and while parking was kind of annoying because it is near the train station and the spots are all metered spaces that require payment until 9pm, it wasn't that difficult. We ordered 2 portions of pork soup dumplings (pretty standard and tasty but skin slightly thicker than Joe Shanghais), 1 shiumai (pretty authentic Chinese dimsum restaurant style pork and shrimp dumpling), 1 scallion pancake (came with a light soy sauce which was odd usually comes with vinegar and wasn't crispy enough but flavor present was good), 1 spring roll (filled with carrots and cabbage with a chili dipping sauce that was just ok), 1 flaky taro pastry (which was unlike the traditional taro party as it was a dollop of taro wrapped in glutinous flour and it was a little less than ok tasting). My eyes are always bigger than my stomach so I encouraged hubs to order basil chicken with rice - cooked well but not that flavorful and not spicy. we also ordered black milk tea bubble tea (truly a pin in a haystack because you can't find this anywhere!) but they forgot the bubbles and the tea tasted rather fruity. Despite my criticisms, the place does have pretty unique products for Westchester and hints of authenticity that I cannot find beyond Queens, LI, and the city and as a result I am struggling between a rating of closer to 3 or 4. It is pricier than Queens and the city though. read more
