As I am writing this review, I am sipping on their Frozen Coffee Coolata and licking the cream out of a Boston Kreme Donut. Okay, I am not doing it simultaneously... That would require me to have four hands instead of just two. I have a fond spot for Dunkin Donuts. A decade ago in another life time, I always stopped by Dunkin Donuts on way to Newark Airport in NJ. It eased the pain of whatever... I guess being lonely. That doesn't mean Dunkin Donuts don't deliver. If Donut Snob is the Rodeo Drive of donuts, then Dunkin Donuts is like the Melrose, east of Fairfax. I adore both, so there! Their "no barista" coffee... I swear they put something in their little coffee beans. It is delicious. No depth, but just delicious. Service is solid. I came here to see for myself what all this people from back east talk about, i stay a few blocks away so i didnt go out of my way to get there. I got a coffee and they ask you if you want creame and sugar with it , i made the mistake to say yes to sugar that one is on me, they are heavy on the sugar to thw point that i could only drink half of it . We had just left Starbucks and across the street was Dunkin Donuts! I had to go! My first time. Nice staff. We got two custard donuts, one with chocolate on the list use and the other one was powder. We also got a pink doughnut with sprinkles. The donut was okay. Nothing special. Nothing poppin. My husband said he likes Krispy Kreme more. The donuts was a little too sweet for me and it made my teeth hurt. I know they are known for the coffee but we had just gotten Starbucks lol so we didn't get the coffee. They have food too but we were saving our appetite for dinner and only wanted to smack on something. Inside had sketch people. Outside had sketch people. I would be scared to work here. You need a code for the bathroom. Bathroom wasn't too bad when I went. I hope it's only for paying customers. Maybe that's how they keep it clean. Literally witnessed one of the most disgusting and disturbing things at this location today. I walked into Dunkin' Donuts and immediately saw a trashcan lid on top of a table - you know the ones where people are supposed to sit and eat? I sarcastically said "cute" and got in line and saw THE MANAGER of all people taking out the trash. I watched him and thought, OK, there's a bottle of sanitizer right there... surely he's going to wipe down the table after he puts the lid back on ... SURELY HE IS. So I watched him and wait and wait. And he proceeds to put the lid back on, grab two more clear trash bags, and walk outside to empty the remaining trash. Two ladies immediately sit down at said table and begin eating their food. Now I'm in line and thinking, WOW, if this is what they do out in the open what is it like back there? So I tell the cashier what I saw and he agrees it's disgusting and confirms yes, indeed that is the manager. Another employee wipes the table off with a paper towel - no sanitizer, no disinfecting wipe. Then I see the same manager who was taking out the trash is now in the back PREPARING MY FOOD. With gloves on. So I ask him, excuse me, did you wash your hands and change your gloves before you made my food? He gives me a strange look and says why? I've been doing this for years? I say well, you also left a trashcan lid on top of that table those ladies are now eating at and didn't think to wipe it down, so if you didn't think to do that I don't think it's that absurd to question the sanitation standards. His response?? Oh, I didn't see them. Are you fucking kidding me?? WHY WOULD YOU PUT A TRASH CAN LID ON TOP OF A DINING TABLE IN THE FIRST PLACE??? He literally placed a germ and bacteria ridden object directly on top of a surface where people eat and didn't think to wipe it down?? And had the nerve to look at me like *I'm* the crazy one?? It pains me that this is the standard in food service, from a MANAGER NO LESS. And the fact that he couldn't see what was wrong with what he did is beyond disturbing. I'm not a "call corporate" kind of girl but this incident just might turn me into one. Anyways, just thought I'd share. Barry's bootcamp and soul cycle are just around the corner which I think its going to have to be mandatory due to Dunkin Donuts new location. I called this Hollywood location to inquire about the do-it-yourself donut kit that I'd read about. A woman answered the phone and told me that the kit needed to be ordered 24 hours in advance. I said I'd like to order a kit for four people. She asked for my name and I gave it to her. I asked if she needed anything else from me, she said no, told me my order would be ready at 9am the next day, and we hung up. Told the kids to expect DIY donuts in the morning. Very excited. I show up at the appointed time, and of course my order is not there. A guy (the manager?) told me they actually needed to be ordered two days in advance and paid by credit card over the phone. No apology, but the thing that really gets me is that he knew I had called and placed the order. He said the girl who took my order told him I had hung up before giving my credit card number. Rather than just make up the order anyway, knowing I would be showing up at 9am, they just blew it off. Acted like this was all somehow my fault, even though he knew about my call. Now my kids are disappointed, and I am angry at myself for believing this could be as good as reported. read more

"Shift Leader" Victor working the night shift on January 2, 2019 was very rude for no reason. After having to wait almost 10 minutes to even have my order taken, I simply asked what was in the UNLABELED trays of donuts and was met with a lot of sass, headshaking, and heavy sighs. Called to complain and guy in the other end started making it seem like there was distortion on the line. Said to bring them back to exchange them. I said you barely had any donuts available and I was already home. Do you have fresh donuts made? He said no. So what would I exchange them for? What can you do about this. He said nothing. I asked if I need to call corporate? He said yes and slammed the phone. I was very polite and he was not. My experiences here have been great overall. Of course some bumps in the roads with an order or two. I used to work in the building and this was my go to place for coffee. Manuel (I'm assuming maybe a regional manager) and Arturo the store manager are doing a great job at this establishment. If you have a compliment, a complaint, or concern they make sure it is dealt with. The employees work great under pressure when there is a long line of guests and get orders out in a timely manner. Great outdoor seating when nice weather permits. Will sure miss this store location, but will definitely return when I visit the Pantages. read more

I love a good donut and when I found this Mom and Pop place, I was like woahhhhhh these are good donuts. Now I have had the chains and the super markets, but these donuts were to die for. Now I have lived all over the country such as Chicago and Boston for the longest time and never had a donut like this. The cake chocolate donut was heaven and was like a kit kat bar because it melts in your mouth not in your hand. The gentleman who works mornings at the counter is always so pleasant and patient with patrons. That said, to the woman unhappily making coffee drinks there's no need to be rude to people because you are constantly having a rough day, week, or year. People say thank you and ask basic questions like "excuse which one of these has the added shot?" to which she replies, "the one that says 'add shot'" however, the sticker saying that was folder over. So fresh and delicious tasting. And their version of the croughnut is beyond comparison better than Dunkin donuts. They should take it off their menu, it is gross at Dunkin donuts. Sadly disappointed. I'd never been to Dunkin donuts and was excited to try it. I got the iced coffee with almond milk and it tasted like water. I asked for it to be remade because I thought perhaps it was a fluke since people rave about their coffee, but sadly, it still tasted like water. I also got the Oreo donut and it was extremely dry. The cream filling was grainy and it just wasn't very pleasant. I'll try Dunkin again, perhaps a different location, but my opinion of it isn't great right now. My latte tasted watered down, they gave me a plain bagel instead of onion and they don't have my favorite veggie cream cheese! Ugh! I usually order with half sweetener or none at all, but in a rush I tend to forget and i really regret it. I'm shocked at the caliber of worker at this store. The young lady at the register today could not add 3 quarters and 4 dimes and had to call another worker over to help. I said "Can't you add that." She said "I don't bother with counting change." I said "that's really a sin." And she had the nerve to say "Don't you sin everyday." I apologized for being critical of her and also said "this doesn't say much for our schools these days." And she just shrugged.
