Sweet cravings just kick in sometimes and it led me to California Donuts for delightful surprise! Such a small cute establishment with adorably unique donuts. So many flavors from a classic glaze, to specialty flavors like cookies and cream, matcha, pb&j, strawberry shortcake, and at one point Line Friends collaboration. I've been to this donut shop a few times and out of all random donuts, the pb&j was pleasantly satisfying. I've enjoyed all the flavors, they taste fresh and have a nice bite. The flavors are balanced well, of course sweet but not overwhelming. A surprise home run for me was their Thai ice tea, oh my lanta, I have actually driven out here just for the Thai tea. The staff is always super friendly, I haven't encounter long waits the times I've visited but the parking does suck. It's in LA, which is known for small streets and traffic, but it's worth the trip. I believe there is a donut here for any palate. Thank you for the treats California Donuts!

I made myself an egg, cheddar sammy with my favorite glazed donuts! Wow can we say delish!

I was left a surprise from my friends on my car this morning with a dozen glazed donuts!! OMGOMGOMG! Soooo good. I mean they melt in your mouth good, the crunchy glaze gives it that "non so che cosa" That's Italian for "Je ne sais quoi" LOL! Amy always greets me warmly and always knows my love of glazed donuts. I find it so hard to read so many negative things from other yelpers, the place is immaculate, the coffee is delicious (yes they have milk), and the donuts are very fresh, no matter what time of day! This constant disdain for paying to use a credit card is so banal, it's called convenience when you don't have cash. The cacophony of disses for the price of a donut is disheartening. How many of these 1 star reviewers have paid $7 plus for their "lattes, machas and ice teas" without any complaint? Amy is a hard working person who takes pride in her business, I stand by this place, as it represents the all American donut! My biggest dream when I grow up is to be presented with a Happy Birthday Cristina donut display made of all glazed ones!! Thank you for your great work!

This morning, I wanted to bring donuts to coworkers who had lost everything in the fire and just bring some Cheer to the office so I bought two dozen donuts and then I brought myself a little egg and cheese bagel. The owner was so sweet as always and I was happy to support her business since I'm sure she has been impacted by the fires too. They have such a great selection even after I bought 24 donuts. Truly such a great option for folks because these are actually yummy donuts. Can't recommend them enough!

They have cute and tasty donuts. We got the Oreo, Reese's and Snicker donuts around $3 to $4 each. But we got the Bavarian cream filled the most because they're my favorite. Expensive nowadays to eat donuts nowadays but worth the price

    1/2 dozen.

Just happened to be in the area, so I stopped in to take a look. I'm not thrilled about the actual location. The strip mall is located off the 101. Parking is tricky, since the shop is in the corner. I parked in front of the shop in the very corner. I just had to make sure I'd be able to maneuver myself out. I couldn't tell if the shop was open. The lights were dim or off on a hot day and I don't think there was A/C. I was there late in the afternoon and the donuts didn't look that fresh. I was there so decided to try what was available anyway. The Reese's peanut butter cup was probably my favorite. This was filled with PB and the donut was covered with chocolate and candy pieces. I thought I would love the cronut, except it was not as soft as a croissant as I've had at other places. Matcha was okay. The matcha glaze was all I liked about this. Unicorn and pink glaze sprinkles was average. Personally, I probably wouldn't come here in the afternoon. I don't think you're getting fresh donuts. The area is not the best. If I'm coming out to LA and I'm craving donuts then I'll probably go to another shop. The shop owner was very though.

Right off the freeway in a little shopping center stands one of the California Donut Shop Chains. This one though isn't the one that has the huge variety of fun, cute donuts. This is a little more of the divey donut shop. This one does have vegan donuts and very few fun donuts. Predominately your average classic donuts. They also sell sandwiches, bagels, coffee, tea, and juice. The vegan donuts were ok. Little on the dry side. For $2.25 each I definitely expected more. Service was good. Inside dark and out dated.

Partially eaten Reese's donut on the left and a maple bar on the right.

It's just fine. Donuts are cute but not worth the price -- I wish they focused more on the taste and freshness than the look.

The vibes were immaculate- cozy, relaxed and the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. There was even a woman with two dogs and she had brought their little beds for them! We kept it simple with an Ube latte for me and a sunset punch for my partner. The latte was perfect and not that horrific sweetness that tends to be the hallmark of most places these days and the lemonade was fresh and perfect for a lightly sunny drive over to the West Side. I knew I had to have the English muffin from the moment I saw it. We requested it simply toasted with butter and jam and shared each half. I wish I had a dog to sit and enjoy my time there as they offered free drip coffee refills. Maybe that's where I'll be later this week as I'm definitely coming back, and soon!

The cortado was solid, though not one of the stronger ones I've had. Presentation and latte art were decent, but there were some visible micro bubbles and the surface had a noticeable two-tone appearance rather than a fully integrated, glossy texture. The drink was also served hotter than a cortado should be, which made it difficult to pick up the coffee's character at first. As it cooled, some pleasant citrus notes started to come through and the drink became more enjoyable. Overall, a solid coffee shop with great atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience, but I think better milk integration and a more appropriate serving temperature would have elevated the cortado quite a bit.

The outdoor seating area is just the right amount of comfy, clean, green, and casual. They do have the vibes set up to feel like a nice place to read. The drinks are a bit expensive as other reviewers have noted. I had the strawberry matcha tonic which was fine, but I think this place would benefit so much from at least one really strong speciality drink or pastries. But either way if you're mostly looking for a really nice area to hang out outdoors with some coffee, this is a good place. I got lucky and got street parking pretty fast. Got Get Em has become my go-to spot for getting work done, taking coffee meetings, and honestly just starting the day at this point many morning out of the week. The staff is friendly and when I go early in the morning the vibe is calm enough to focus but alive enough to feel energized. I'm over a year into being a regular here and I still haven't found a place near me thats better for what I need for the early morning work sessions. The coffee is great!. I rotate between their drip coffee (which changes regularly) and their house-made almond and macadamia milk latte, which is one of my favorite lattes Ive had in LA. That house milk blend is the move. I also love their food and their chef and kitchen staff is exceptional at that they do. Their simple bean and cheese burrito is a staple, but the egg, bean and cheese burrito with tater tots is also something I like to get from time to time. They all are served with house made salsas, that I wish I knew the recipe to. I do occasionally order the everything bagel with cream cheese and heirloom tomato, which is delicious, but $7 for half a bagel is a little steep. Overall this is a gem of a neighborhood spot that I'd recommend to absolutely anyone, whether you live in Los Feliz or just need a reliable work café, or just want a really great cup of coffee with food that actually excites you. Who it's for: early risers, remote workers, coffee connoisseurs , and anyone who appreciates a spot that becomes part of their routine.
