My gf and had dinner here after shopping in BH. They took us as walk ins which was great for last minute and no reservations. They have valet here next to the resto. This spot not only has delicious food with outdoor patio dining but the service is a class act. Everyone including the hostess is always ready to cater to their up scale clientele. I had the most delicious mushroom and cheese appetizer before the main entree of pasta with mushrooms. It was a mushroom craving day for me. My friend ordered the salmon which he said was so delicious and tender. This is the spot to be to eat a great meal and people watch in Beverly Hills. Also great for dog watching! We arrived for dinner at eBaldi at 6:30. The waiter didn't take our order for one hour. At 9:00 we still hadn't received our food. Everyone in the restaurant was served but us. Our waiter was nice but helpless. It was so infuriating as we asked over and over where our food was and he kept saying it's coming right out. We finally got our food at 9:30 and one of the entrees was wrong. They were sort of apologetic but not really. Went there a week a go for lunch with Friends. We ordered : 1. Arthichoke and fennel salad : I kinda disappointed with this salad because it's not as good as I imagined.. I love artichoke but the taste in this salad not so amusing, plus it's so expensive and small .. not worth it at all 2. Beef meatballs: I'm so glad I could find pure BEEF meatballs Italian style because most Italian resto added pork in their meatballs and I don't eat pork and the taste is GOOD only it's too small for that price. 3. Grilled prawns / Mediterranean langostiine in my opinion, the best grilled prawn.. so good, sweet and juicy .. I guess this is my fav from all the food I ordered. 4. Corn Agnolotti: my friends really love it but I'm not a fan of ravioli so it's decent in my opinion. 5. Pizza tartuffo : it's so so .. not too special For the drink I ordered iced coffee with milk .. I might going back to this place but only for the shrimp and maybe a meatballs .. next time going to try for their pasta. read more

Went to E Baldi Wednesday night for Valentine's Day. We had a 6:15 reservation. The place was packed we had a nice table but very cramped. The waiter was very nice but they all seemed to be in a hurry to serve the food and get you out for the next table. We had very good food. The place is expensive but most annoying was we asked for balsamic vinegar and they charged us for it and it was in a tiny cup. Never been charge for vinegar before. Just a few weeks ago we had dinner at Georgio Baldi and it was nicer. Also I had called that it was my wife's birthday and they didn't even acknowledge it. At Georgio Baldi they made a nice desert for her. If we're going to spend that kind of money we would prefer to go to Georgio Baldi. read more

Very unfriendly to customers. They have a wine policy where you cannot bring any wine, even with, what used to be, their high corkage. I was skeptic about this place because of the rating on yelp...but it turned out much better than I anticipated. The quality was superb. Indeed, it was pricier than the other nearby Italian restaurants but you do get what you paid for. We ordered the everyone loves pasta truffle dish as well as the crab salad. Sauce was on par and the ingredients were fresh. Their balsamic and oil for the bread was probably one of the best I've had. As for dessert, I had the panna cotta. This dish was not that impressive. A very delightful experience. The quality of the food and service was one of the better places to dine if in the area. E baldi is one of those "hidden gems" in Beverly hills dare I say it. A very nice place to eat. My recommendation: the ravioli. It had this brown butter sauce and butternut squash stuffed with sage. MELTED IN MY MOUTH DELICIOUS. Good lord I miss it already. This is for the rude host with an accent who refused to help us find an item we forgot, even though someone else at the restaurant said they found our lost item and put it aside for us. She didn't even let me listen and kept arguing with me that there's nothing, and it took a long time for her to admit that they did in fact put aside the item. We got a $200 parking ticket thanks to you guys and rude host taking forever to help us. She got even ruder when I called her out for her attitude. Never coming back here again, I hope they reevaluate their employees attitudes. The whole restaurant's vibe is off. Impeccable food and attentive wait staff, but I had to knock one star because the tables in the restaurant are so cramped and uncomfortably close together. I ordered the langoustine and white truffle gnocchi with cherry tomatoes, which came out quickly and was delicious. The gnocchi was made in house and paired surprisingly well with the langoustine and aromatic white truffle. For dessert, the butterscotch rum pudding is an absolute must try! I NEVER write reviews, but this experience was so out of the ordinary, especially in what is supposed to be a high-end restaurant, that I wanted to warn prospective customers. Our dinner reservation was at 6:30 (we arrived on time), and we were not served our entrees until 9:15, almost THREE hours later. Perhaps it should have been a warning sign that our drinks order was not taken until 30 minutes in. Our dinner order was taken about an hour in, and arrived at about 1.5 hours in. We had a lovely waiter who felt terrible, but he was not able to help us, and we were offered NOTHING in the interim until about 2 hours in, when we were offered a free glass of wine. We were about to get up and leave when our entrees finally arrived, and one of the dishes was not what was ordered (we ate it anyway, as we did not have another 3 hours to spare). And the food was, at best, fine - certainly not worth the long wait. At the end of the day they did not charge us for the appetizers, but the right thing to do would have been not to charge us at all, especially as all the tables around us (including people who arrived after us), were being served before we were. Clearly something went wrong with the expediting in the kitchen, but the chef/owner was completely indifferent to the problem and in no rush to fix it, and not apologetic, which is really the thing I found most offensive. If we had at least gotten an apology, I would not be writing this, but it was so clear that the chef/owner simply did not care (we could see our waiter talking to him from our table). I have been fortunate to have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world, and in many high-end restaurants in Los Angeles, and I have never had an experience remotely like this. Sure, once in a rare while things go wrong, but it's what the restaurant does to solve the problem that makes the difference, and this was an epic FAIL. read more

Our friends recommended this place so we thought it should be good. The sitting is uncomfortable, the chairs and tables are old, uncomfortable, very small, the food is good but not worth the hefty price. Everything aside, the waiter was very rude! First of all we had to order the entire meal at the same time! This isn't his fault but the attitude was bad. Then he was rushing all the time, and the attitude was: here's your order, eat and leave! When the time came to pay, he stood over our shoulder until we paid, and the annoying part is that the tip amount for such a lousy service started at 18%. He didn't deserve it for sure! Bottom line: just skip this place! There are plenty of nice places that have good food with a nice and welcoming staff and ambiance, even if they have a time limit due to covid, but they act respectful and friendly as if they appreciate your business. read more

Super expensive and attitude is horrible. Wine was bad. Pasta was uncooked so sent it back with apologies, the chef said "take it or leave it" because he felt it was cooked right. We would have gotten an upset stomach if we ate more. Came home hungry and unhappy. Bill was super high. I can't comment on the food because I was not brought a menu either. While I watched my friends enjoy wine I waited for us to move onto the next spot.
