Whenever I'm in this part of town I always stop by and say hi to Tony (the owner) and order some delicious foods! I've tried all the salads. Bomb dot com. They are filling, balanced with greens, healthy fats and protein. I've tried the chicken kebab, the chicken luleh, the new pork kebab. All winners. His side options are always fresh and tasty. I knew I was going to like this place because the food is traditional Mediterranean with a twist. Tony is a top Michelin Star chef and I knew it right away with the taste of the food. So delicious healthy and fresh. Excellent customer service. And the fresh double chocolate chip cookies are so tempting and really a taste of heaven. My #1 Go-to when I'm craving a flavorful, expertly crafted mediterranean meal. I regularly order pick up from here -- about once every two weeks. Tony, the owner is a great guy, great front of the house and behind the scenes in the kitchen. I've moved to LA from NYC where the mediterranean food is amazing and I've yet to find a better place in my time here in LA. The chicken kebabs, Lulu meat, pork belly and falafel are always cooked perfectly--never dry, never over salted and all the sides--from the cucumber yogurt to the hummus, the tabouli and especially the baba are delicious. Even the pita is great! The rice and the lentil rice are also perfectly cooked and seasoned. All ingredients are fresh--I've never had anything, even the salad, that seemed wilted or past due. I have seen this spot many times, while shopping at Sprouts. Today, I decided to pop in and give it a try. I am so glad that I did, because I have found my new kabob place, (there aren't any my area). I had the chicken kabob with tabbouleh, salad, rice and a side of hummus. I was served a plate of freshly fried (?) pita chips with seasoning, which are so delicious! The owner, Tony is very personable and he engages with his customers. He was nice and warm, which is refreshing, when so many counter service staff or owners can be rude. I found the tabbouleh and hummus to be so tasty, that I ordered sides of both and the pita chips, to take to a potluck. Note that everything is prepared when ordered; your order is fresh. If you walk-in, be prepared to wait 15 or 20 minutes, which is well worth it. While I was eating, there were quite a few to go orders that were picked up. read more

Finally stopped by Eagle Rock Kabob today and tried the Frankie's Fix specialty wrap with a side of French fries. The fries and the wrap were incredibly well-seasoned and the ingredients were really fresh. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes. read more

Tony does a fine job. I really appreciate a number of his dishes. Items you likely will not find elsewhere - Pork Belly Kabob. Shwerma Quesadilla. My ONLY concern, no peppers, and I like more pickles (the turnips). But the sumac absolutely makes up for that!!! read more

What really made me want to try this place out was how the reviews consistently mention how Tony seasons the meats well and cooks them to perfection. Those reviews are not wrong. I've been disappointed with so many other places that are missing the flavor factor. Before finding this place, I was a fan of Luna Grill. Nothing against Luna Grill, they were in my top favorites, as there was nothing out there that came close to their menu. Until now. Eagle Rock Kabob raised the stakes with their menu. A unique variety of Mediterranean dishes you simply can't find anywhere else. And the main staple dishes are still recognizable, yet slightly different as he adds his delicious signature to it. Chef Tony is passionate about his food. You can taste that in every bite. Tonight I had the privilege to try the roasted beet salad with a chicken kabob add on. And I love it when mix ups happen and get to try something I normally would not have ordered. (Completely my fault. But I'm glad it happened). I meant to get the tabuleh and probably pronounced it wrong. I think what I got was the chicken lulu (I probably spelled that wrong too). And then I bought peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookies, that he gets from a local baker. I'm so stuffed. I'm ready for the food coma. But since I have a long drive. I better go find some coffee.. Don't pass this place up. Its rare to find a place who's chef is so passionate in their creations. So when you do come across it, it's an opportunity you don't want to ever miss. I used to live right by this place and was surprised when I walked in one day to a remodeled dining area and new chef. Everything is still great! The classic kabob plates are still super filling and delicious, but the last time I went in I was treated to the daily special... a beef shawarma quesadilla! Overpriced for what it is. They don't even give you a whole pita with your meal. You get half a pita! I would rather support one of the many Mediterranean spots nearby with more affordable prices, bigger portions, and better customer service. Not this place. Also as mentioned in other reviews, the big guy at the counter (and the rest of the staff) refuses to wear a mask. No gloves either. We've been there a few times since the beginning of the pandemic and never seen him (or his staff) wear a mask/gloves even when running between the kitchen and register. What a dang shame. I ate here once when they first opened and the food was super tasty! Hadn't been since Covid hit and wanted to support a local spot, so I Just ordered with a friend and when I arrived for pickup, was pretty shocked to see the owner standing at the register mask-less. Then he headed over to cook food, again, with no face covering (or gloves). I requested to cancel my order (which he did, quickly, though with no apology) and waved off my concerns, saying that masks are "just for social stuff." Uhhh - no, they're not. There's a reason people - especially health care workers(?!) wear them and they've been proven to be effective against the spread of Covid and other viruses. Just a heads up - there are plenty of other spots following current mandates and protocol to support in the area. read more

Visited Eagle Rock Kabob for the first time yesterday. I ordered the chicken kabob plate, and my boyfriend ordered the beef kabob. The two staff members were friendly enough, but neither were in compliance with the face covering policy this including the person cooking our food. It was concerning, especially in light of today's climate. In addition, neither wore gloves when handling our food. Isn't that regular restaurant protocol? The food was average, neither above nor below. In the end, they ended up messing up our order as well. Be wary when entering this establishment. read more

Friendly service and bomb ass food!!!!! Got two beef kabob plates, one pork belly kabob ala carte, baba ghanoush, and a vegan lentil soup. The meats were SO TENDER, the soup was fresh and lemony, the baba ghanoush creamy and a little Smokey. All in all, my friend and I enjoyed everything we ordered!!! I loved that they do grilled cherry tomatoes also! Make sure to ask for the sauce that goes with the pork belly, omg so good!
