Wonderful experience on a double date with friends! Portobello mushroom fries were delicious. Tomohawk steak was perfect to share amongst 4 with appetizers. The oysters were best I've had in Las Vegas and that includes oyster bar. Recommend to bring your own wine (1 bottle per 2 guests) no corkage fee. Service was spot on! First off, I just got to say their service is amazing from start to finish. We made a reservation for 8pm but got there 20 minutes early hoping we can get seated early lol (cuz we were starving...) but they were super busy so the hostess directed us to their bar first and she'd call us in right away when they have a seat ready. The bartender was amazing and welcomed us immediately and gave us the menu! I ordered their empress to dress and it was SO good! So light and refreshing and beautiful colors! My boyfriend ordered their new fashioned and he said it was really good! Soon enough we got seated, and we were immediately introduced by the manager who showcased the menu and introduced our server Lucas, who was so engaging and knowledgeable of their steaks and dishes. And soon enough we got sold on their tomahawk steak haha! Best decision though. We were served bread with their whipped butter which was so light and delicious. We got crab cakes and broccolini for appetizers. The crab cake to be honest didn't appear as tasty because it was dark and looked burnt and hard, but it was surprisingly so flaky and soft with a soft crispy edge with the sauce underneath to meld all the flavors. The broccolini was slightly spicy and cut to smaller pieces and easy to eat with all the meat. The tomahawk was so great to share. Super fatty and delicious! You get all the sauces to try as well- favorites were the charred onion and red wine demi. Charred onion had a nice tang that cut through the fattiness of the steak and red wine was just super smooth and good. We went a few weeks ago for a friends birthday brunch. Have not been in a few years but we had a very nice time. Services was excellent and hostess was great in moving us from patio seating as weather got really cold and nasty. Food was good with large portions and our waitress was super attentive and friendly. Made reservations after reading many great reviews. Arrived and we were seated near a table with about 20 people. The noise was deafening so we asked if we could be moved to another table. We ordered drinks, rib eyes, salad and some sides. White risotto, garlic mashed potatoes, mushroom fries and a kale salad and Cesar salad. The kale salad had a good flavor with not enough toppings. The kale itself was extremely tough and hard to chew. The Cesar salad was quite heavy on the anchovies. The mushroom fries were great. The mashed potatoes were not hot and the risotto was really good. The rib eyes came and we both took a bite. Both of ours were burnt and charred with an overwhelming burnt flavor. Neither one of us could eat the steak. The server took them back and it took quite a while for the new ones to come out. The new steaks were cooked fine but I had a hard time eating mine with the burnt taste in my mouth still. They did bring us some new sides...mashed potatoes still not hot. We ordered a desert for my friend's birthday and we were told it would be taken care of. When the bill came we had to remind the server since it was on the bill. We decided to order our Thanksgiving dinner from Echo & Rig this year, and were looking forward to how good it might be, especially after going to their quite beautiful location to pick up the meal. In the end, though, while the ingredients were clearly high quality, the execution of this meal just wasn't. The turkey was at least just ordinary, though for the amount we paid, I'd certainly hoped for more than that. The vegetables and stuffing were straight up bland. The cranberry sauce was extremely sour, and the candied yams were just not very sweet. I really don't know how you even pull that off. And the pumpkin pie was strangely salty. I don't know, maybe they put the missing seasoning from the other dishes into the pie. Although they were also bland and needed re-seasoning, the mashed potatoes and gravy had a wonderful texture and underlying flavor that really showed off the quality of ingredients in this meal. But they were high points in a low meal, and just a tease of a good meal that might have been. The end result was that the whole thing felt like good ingredients going to waste. For left-overs on the day after Thanksgiving, we discarded many of the side dishes and cooked new ones to replace them instead. Not remotely worth the money paid. read more

Although expensive is subjective, I'd say most would not consider Echo and sort to be that. Sure it can be, but it actually fits all budgets. Going to Tivoli Village and having a nice night out is self care. Whether it's a birthday or anniversary or just a steak craving- this is the spot. It's very swanky and doubles as a butcher. They usually have a steak walk through to show you options and to inform of specials. Steaks are perfectly grilled and served with home made chips standard. I didn't find the value for what we got. I was visiting from out of town, and my buddies brought me here. The restaurant is located inside the outdoor mall and is very nice and cozy on the inside. The video posted shows how you can buy meat from the butcher if you like. We sat at our reservation time, and our server greeted us immediately. She did a fantastic job, as did all the support staff. We ordered some appetizers for the table, and they came out in a reasonable time. I was excited to try the burnt ends, and you don't get a lot for the price you are paying, which I guess is expected for a higher end restaurant. My buddy recommended I get the burger and they would get the pay per oz t-bone. Which was cool as they brought a tray of meat by the table and you got to choose which piece you wanted, side note, another cool thing is you can bring your own wine. However, when our steak and burger came they were pretty undercooked. The tone was ordered med rare and looked as if the cook only walked the meat by the grill and introduced them to one another. My burger was ordered medium and it came out completely burnt on both sides and cold/raw in the middle, similar to Pittsburgh style. I sent back to be cooked more. But it just came back more burnt than it was previously. I asked my party if that was common and they said it indeed was. All in all, I enjoyed the experience, but not the food. My husband and I decided to come here for date night. We don't go out for steak much much decided that we would go to a place closer to home. This place did not disappoint. We have walked by many times without going in but tonight I made reservations. Everything we tried was amazing my favorite thing was the portobello mushroom fries I had never thought something could taste as good as that tasted. My steak was amazing super soft I had it with chimichurri sauce. Had some family in town over the weekend and we came to Echo & Rig for my birthday. Started with the calamari and some burrata. The calamari was outstanding, and the burrata was good too but I wasn't the biggest fan of the orange marmalade they served with it. As for the steak... I had the Spencer steak and was really happy with how it turned out. Tasted great and I love they grill the steaks over an open flame. Sides we had were fries, mashed potatoes, and the cauliflower. Our waiter was a superstar too! I wish I remember his name because he was outstanding! All in all, excellent meal and experience. The location of the restaurant is tough to beat too. read more

My new favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Of course I found this place on yelp and it didn't look too far from the strip, but let me tell you this place is a solid 20 to 30 minutes away. But with that 20 to 30 minutes you'll save literally 50% of what you would pay on the strip you can get a solid steak dinner here for like $30 I supposed to $60 to $100 on the strip. Parking is ominous because you are in the Tivoli Plaza. I recommend parking in the parking structure and going up to the main floor. The restaurant is close by this place is a zoo get here early. Also, there are a couple Tesla charging stations there like a home charger so plug in before you start dinner I know it says a 30 minute limit but of course it's not a super charger so even if you plug it in for dinner for an hour and a half it's only going to give you another 20% or so but it's free. This place is a total locals place, most people you will see eating there live there, so you're going get better service, way better prices and higher quality. We got the little gem salad which was very good along with some salt pepper french fries, let's be honest have we ever had a french fry we didn't like? My wife got the skirt steak. The waiter actually recommended it because she eats her steak medium well and he said this is by far the softest most succulent mean if you eat your meat medium well-done or above. I had the Bronzino fish which I highly recommend. It's a big portion it was super clean and yummy. From the manager coming to the table to welcome us and the excellent service by (i forget his name) very loud big bellied (he talked about his belly often as we laughed all evening) amazing waiter this place was incredible. We celebrate my husband & one our adult daughter's birthdays every February at the Tivoli Village location. Echo & Rig is not just another steakhouse! They have become part of our family's annual tradition & it's superb! We have been regular diners at the Las Vegas location for quite a few years & can honestly say that we have not one time had a negative experience. Actually, we have only had exceptional experiences on the whole! We are pleased with the pricing, feeling that they have been diligent to keep their menu items priced at a point that a middle class family can dine, all the while providing an experience that one would expect from a restaurant with a much higher price point! The wait staff have never let us down, even though many of my family members come from the service industry themselves, which tends to create high expectations. Furthermore, we have yet to dine at the Tivoli Village Echo & Rig where the management has not, at minimum, introduced themselves & checked in on us to see if we had any needs. It's remarkable what a great hub the entire staff does at working together as a team! They function like a well oiled machine & it definitely adds to our significant satisfaction! If I had even one negative thing to say, is when the inside dining room is full, it can get particularly loud. It makes having conversations amongst your table more challenging. We have found that the patio is an excellent alternative. Lastly, can I say how much I miss the lovely sugar scrub they formally had in their restrooms? Perhaps, a nice lotion on the counter would help me not feel so disappointed . My complaints are so weak in light of the phenomenal quality provided overall by Echo & Rig! Thank you! read more

Rib Eye Cap was insanely delish, the server recommended medium even though I usually get medium rare, medium was perfect. We've always been fans of great service, and that's exactly what keeps us coming back. We used to be regulars at Derek's last restaurant, and once we found out he was working at Echo & Rig, we had to come check it out. First off, the vibe here is great. The steaks are incredible - I had the ribeye cap, which was unbelievably flavorful without needing to add anything extra. The sides, especially the sweet fire cauliflower and Mac and cheese, were delicious too. But truly, what made the experience stand out was the service. Derek has always been attentive, genuine, and knowledgeable about the menu, and nothing has changed here. It just makes dining out feel more personal and enjoyable when you're taken care of so well. Highly recommend Echo & Rig if you want quality food with service that makes you feel like a valued guest. We're already planning to come back next week. read more

I've been to a few fine dining experiences and this is top three in my experience me and my girlfriend are younger 21 and 23.. sometimes being so young and entering a environment like this can be offputting but not the case here we seen online that this was a very budget friendly fine dining in Vegas still paid 123$.The host was very nice. We called ahead to get reservations. We were seated five minutes after we entered into the restaurant cool to see the steak cuts sitting in refrigerators with glass windows when we sat down, our waiter was very nice. The food was absolutely amazing. Besides the fact that they did not have mashed potatoes at the time we were there which was a very disappointing because that was one of the main reasons we were there so they must be good to be gone. The manger with out asking came and said he over heard we were disappointed about not having mashed potatoes as an option so he told us that he would send both there desserts on the menu after our dinner .... This time, we celebrated our anniversary. Reservation Process: The reservation process is easy and all around fantastic! We have consistently been able to get the date/time(s) we wanted with no challenges. Location: Echo & Rig is located in Tivoli Village right across from the fountain. There is complimentary valet but plenty of parking in the lot as well as the parking garage. The Atmosphere: Echo & Rig has a very nice vibe. The downstairs area has a couple of tables and a bar and upstairs is where you will have more seating. I still love that it has a rustic vibe. Service: The hostess was great! She was friendly, asked us how our day was going and if we were there for a special occasion, and really made us feel welcome. We were seated pretty promptly. Our server, Lucas, was hands down the best server I have ever had in both Las Vegas AND Los Angeles. I am sure there are other lovely servers at Echo & Rig, however, we honestly will be requesting his tables only in the future. He knew the menu as if he wrote it out himself, his presentation and overall energy was absolutely phenomenal. It felt like we were guests in his home having a nice dinner. 100% Top Tier service for sure. Beverages: My Old Fashioned was amazing as well as my red wine! I was really looking forward to trying the brunch menu. I had the eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes and toast. Eggs and sausage were good. Bacon was burnt, it broke into pieces and potatoes were very crunchy like they had been cooked earlier in the morning. Coffee was great. My husband had steak and fries, he said the steak was average. We have been here before for lunch and both times we were there we had steaks. You can't be wrong with this steak joint. First time we had 30oz of porterhouse steak with mushrooms with delicious sauce and we shared the wedge salad with boiled eggs and bacon and red house wine. The 2nd time we had we cowboy steak and we shared it with chopped salad and red wine. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. She's always around and to make sure we had a good meal. We were placed dead center in the restaurant near the kitchen. We heard managers discussing operations and were caught up in the foot traffic. It was not ideal. The food was just ok. The steak was not prepared how we ordered but it got the job done. I did really enjoy the wine and the portobello mushroom fries. I think I'll circle back and try them again for happy hour.
