Scheduling with Molly was easy and straightforward. She sent me a booking email with all the pertinent info, confirmed, and sent my deposit. She suggested a 9-10 am arrival window but I requested 9:30 specifically due to street sweeping at the pickup location. My only (very minor) gripe initially was the movers contacted me around 8 am (thankfully I was awake) to say they would arrive at 8:30. Normally this wouldn't have been an issue but being 9 mo. pregnant with a 2 year old made this difficult. They were very understanding and they waited until our agreed upon time even though they did arrive much earlier. I hired 2 movers for 3 hours but ended up needing them for a little over 4 hours. We have moved many times in the last few years and did not take more than 2-3 hours but it was the quality of the move that was different. They wrapped everything, which we didn't do with previous moves, and they did it quickly and carefully. They were organized and were in constant communication throughout. My husband and I were still packing boxes and putting things away but they moved pretty seamlessly around us in a moderately sized second floor apt unit. The drop off location was a back house on ground level but located on a street with an incline and only had direct access via a narrow alleyway. They maneuvered through all these challenges and had everything in the house within an hour and with nothing damaged. Even though I underestimated the time needed, there were no hidden fees in the final cost so I paid what was due + tips because they were great and easy to work with. Thank you Ilya and Ali!! Do NOT use Eco Moving Company. Our recent move was an absolute disaster and a costly example of extreme unprofessionalism. The move was scheduled for 9:00 AM but the crew showed up 45 minutes late. Despite everything being fully boxed and ready to go, the first group of movers was clearly inexperienced and worked incredibly slowly. The situation escalated when, after two and a half hours, we found one mover sitting in the truck attempting to order lunch while still on the clock. We contacted management (Molly), which resulted in them firing a mover during the job. This internal chaos forced us to wait for a second crew, holding us back over 6 hours. The replacement crew didn't arrive until 5:00 PM, and the entire move did not finish until 1:00 AM the following morning. To top off this nightmare, the movers' careless placement of items at our new home resulted in our TV being broken overnight. This company wasted an entire day, demonstrated zero quality control, and caused property damage. Save yourself the stress and money--hire a different, professional company. read more

Eco moving is amazing! We had two movers helping us moving out of a storage full of stuff and furnitures to a 1 bed loft apartment. Although we've boxed and wrapped everything already, they were still really careful with our stuff and even double wrapped some of the furnitures! They made the most efficient move with no rest in between. Our loft has a really narrow stairs which was impossible to carry the mattress and dresser up. They had the tools/ropes ready to pull those upstairs instead. We couldn't make this happen without them. Make sure you provide all the necessary information to them prior to move date. The selling of our old home and purchase of our new home was...interesting to put it mildly. Dates and times moved constantly. One thing that held constant was Eco Moving! They were so flexible and patient with us as we changed plans about 5 times! They moved our our things and took great care with it. Look no further! These guys are quick, efficient and SUPER careful with your belongings. We moved out of the second story of an apartment building and I was so worried about our newer and heavier furniture, but they made sure to wrap our stuff heavily and handled everything with the utmost care. Wow! You should check out the website of this company. The idea of Eco-Moving is incredible and simple at the same time. They pick up unwanted clothing and fabrics during moving and send to a textile recycling company. We were very impressed with how efficient and professional the team was. I had a team of 4 men and they each did a terrific job. I highly recommend using this company. No broken furniture or missing parts. They are very HARD workers. They do very well with specific direction. Very nice people too and pleasant to interact with. They were courteous and friendly. They worked very hard from the beginning to the very end. We had much more stuff to move then they expected but they worked extremely hard, and to speed up the move, they got an additional help and even a second truck. They were still with us past midnight and never showed fatigue and never slowed down their work pace. I would definitely recommend them and I would absolutely use them again. read more
