Like this place a lot. Creative menu with loads of choices for any breakfast lover, and the portions are large. Service is very good here as everyone knows exactly what they are doing and they are trained very well. The dining room is expansive and can seat many customers ... and that is a good thing since there is usually a line and the parking lot is full. One of their highlights is the juice bar ... serving up all the usuals and many combinations that are sure to please. Ambiance wise, the large dining room creates a noisy but happy place. Kids are welcome and families are all over the place ... all adding to the noise levels. They also serve brunch and do that just as well as breakfast. Food wise ... what can you say about eggs, or French toast, or pancakes that hasn't been said before? They bring off all these treats very well and they do it very fast. You won't be sitting around waiting for your meal. While just off the beaten path over here on Oak Park Avenue, do make a point of trying this place out. Very good all around. read more

We loved this place. Found them on Yelp, they were 10 minutes from our hotel, and the pics looked fabulous so we gave them a try. Very glad we did. It was very clean here, and welcoming service. Pretty busy too. Booths were roomy. A lot on the menu to choose from but she got the French Toast and Pancake special combo, and I got the omelet that had a lot of veggies in it. Food came out in a jiffy and wow - the portions here were great! We loved all of the food, and I really enjoyed my omelet - because it was huge, plenty of eggs too, and a very hearty breakfast. They make banana bread here and sell it by the loaf - well I had to get some. Took that puppy home and put it in the freezer. After a week or so we took it out - and it was excellent! Not as good as my mom's but it's still very good, and I highly recommend it. Not too sweet, large loaf, and I got enough banana flavor too. If I am ever back here in this area we are going to stop here for sure. Excellence customer service too! read more

This brunch place was a completely unexpected find during my stay in Tinley Park. Service is great and there was no wait for a table of 2, even though the restaurant seemed fairly crowded. My friend and I dined here twice during our trip, sharing 2 items each time. The portion sizes were more than enough for us and we did end up having a tiny bit leftover during both meals. We tried: - Santa Fe Benedict w/ bacon on the side - Eggs were cooked perfectly and chicken was moist and flavorful. The chipotle hollandaise sauce was not spicy at all despite saying so on the menu lol, but still delicious. The hash brown on the side was also perfectly crisp with enough salt, which is unfortunately a rarity at most of the trendy brunch places I've been to. - Navajo Skillet - Flavorful and delicious, again with perfect eggs, moist chicken, and crispy hash browns. We chose raisin toast to accompany it but had to take it to go since we were so full, and it was still delicious hours later. - French Sampler - this was the real star of the show imo. Each type of french toast was incredible - not too sweet and perfectly accompanied by the included sauces/fruit. I highly recommend sharing because it's more filling than you'd think. I've tried many a trendy brunch place in California and this is on par with the best. I'm still dreaming of the red velvet french toast lol. read more

I heard that this place gets absolutely packed but I happened to stroll in at about 1:30 so it was nice and quiet near closing time. The service was outstanding, my waitress had just a beautiful personality. The food was excellent as well, I had the Oreo pancakes no syrup needed. That creole omelette was straight fire emojis, imitation crabmeat but still delicious. I might've found my new breakfast spot, I will definitely be back! read more

The food was amazingly delicious and the service above normal. I cannot recommend this location enough. My daughter and I walked downtown and saw this place and thought we'd stopped by. Best. My son raved about this cafe and since we both are off from work, we came here for breakfast. The parking lot was packed but several patrons were leaving and some did carry out so thankfully, we didn't have to wait for a parking spot. Once inside, the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We were immediately greeted and seated in a booth. Upon being seated, we were greeted and given water by a male staffer and I typically get names so I can jot them down on my reviews, but I forgot to ask. In any case, he was very friendly as well. Our server was Eileen and she was just as welcoming and friendly. They have quite an extensive menu; everything looked so good and settled on ordering the corn beef hash. My son ordered the New Mexico omelet. We chose toast versus pancakes and hash browns versus grits. Our food came quickly and everything was good. Overall, this was a 0 out of 10 experience. None of the meals my family ordered had any flavor or seasoning whatsoever. I ordered the EggHead Skillet and it was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food is completely unseasoned, which was confirmed when we asked if the potatoes were seasoned and the waiter flat-out told us, "No, they don't season the potatoes, period." If you enjoy bland food with zero effort put into flavor, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Egg Headz Cafe does not disappoint. It has been years since I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant. I was pleased to experience the same delicious food and great customer service. I ordered a veggie omelet with cheddar cheese, grits, and a pumpkin pancake with cream cheese & nuts. Chefs kids muah! My food came out quickly was hot and fresh and honestly was enough to share. Not only was the price reasonable, but the food was delicious. It's a decent size café style restaurant. We thought it would be packed on a Sunday morning. We were right! After landing at O'Hare the night before, I awoke hungry and tired. My husband brought me here for breakfast as a surprise. I ordered coffee, a bacado (omelette with bacon, avocados, cheese, onions, tomatoes and jalapeño peppers), blueberry pancakes, and hashed browns. The coffee was so-so, however, the pancakes were buttery and dripping with hot maple syrup. My omelette was cooked perfectly as well as the side of hashed browns. Wow, the portions were enormous. My husband and I could have shared the entree, but he wanted something else. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Perfect! BTW, the menu has a huge assortment of choices. They even have a juice menu. If you visit, take a minute to look at the Michael Jackson art tribute outside of the restaurant. I thought that was odd. I didn't say table for eight, I said 2. I sat there for 25 minutes. My friend didn't show. Meanwhile, 2 other people come in, say table for 2, and they are seated. The one person was seated. But not me? RUDE. I would have ordered coffee and breakfast. I was hungry. Regardless of if my friend showed. I would have ordered breakfast. These people are racist as heck I was sat down I ask for a skillet I was unaware of gravy the waitress was partially yelling at me telling me it was on the menu. On the menu I understood okay I'll keep the skillet I TASTED THE PANCAKES AND THE WERE COLD then she ask me to put it in the microwave I said no can u just replace with regular hot pancakes and she ask me if I wanted a Togo plate mind you I barely ate my food. The owner of this restaurant was belligerent and rude with our family after we waited an hour to be seated. We were asked to ignore the owner by our waitress because of his attitude but we decided to leave. I've never had an issue like this before and will never return here because of it. read more

The Hubski and I went to have brunch here to kick off our 7th anniversary . We will definitely be back. Clean, inviting, perfectly lit breakfast , brunch and lunch spot! Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and sweet (hostess, waitresses, bus boys...all the employees). The food was fresh and well prepared and the coffee was really good; hot and freshly brewed :) Hubski got a bacon Florentine omelette and I got a veggie + goat cheese skillet The skillet was fully loaded with fresh veggies in abundance (broccoli, zucchini, roasted red peppers , spinach, portabella mushrooms & onions) on top of a perfect bed of hash browns . If you are a fan of goat cheese, please give this a try! You will not be disappointed I got a sampler of the navy bean soup , you bet there is a quart on my kitchen counter now hehehe . We had 8 people kid wrote down 7 and so they misssed a chair we moved our chair to head of table to make room for an extra chair and owner of resturant came through and started fighting with us calling us an asshole even though he had more than enough room to get through. Everytime I've come here that man has given customers an attitude. We ended up just leaving before we even ordered. Waitress even came over to tell us to ignore him because he always has a bad attitude. I ordered the crab cake benedict, a side of shrimp, a chai tea latte, and pumpkin cheesecake pancakes. The crab cake had a mushy texture and wasn't seasoned. I added hot sauce, which helped a little. While the food was decent, service was average. Don't plan to make any substitutions as most items on the menu state this. Breakfast is not my favorite meal of the day or food group. But with Egg Headz Cafe, I can be persuaded. I was meeting a date in Tinley Park and she knew I was doing a low-carb diet. Egg Headz was perfect because I could get a skillet without the hashbrowns and the side of the pancakes and toast. I went with The Ricky. This skillet came with chorizo, eggs, red peppers, onions, salsa, cheese, sour cream, and since I was debating with the New Mexico omelet, the waitress said she could have the chipotle hollandaise sauce added. Anything with chorizo is amazing in my opinion. This skillet was spicy but so satisfying. It was a great low-carb meal and tasty. I would like to come back to Egg Headz and try other things on the menu. The menu is humongous! There is so many breakfast meals and some sandwiches for lunch to choose from. read more

I went to this restaurant on Sunday, October 2nd. The food: The food was great! Our table ordered the Ambrosia waffle, an eggheadz classics with turkey sausage. The Turkey sausage was a bit dry and over cooked. They eggs were fluffy and the pancakes were typical. We also ordered a farmers special with some substitutes that they were happy to accommodate. The skillet was full of flavor and a hearty portion size. The fruit on the waffle was fresh and the whip cream was light and airy. The restaurant: The wait time was quoted at 15 minutes and that was spot on. The hostess who took our names down and sat us was very friendly. Our waitress was all smiles and welcoming. The restaurant is a good size for breakfast/brunch. What I would say needs adjustment are the two bathroom stalls in the woman's bathroom.
