Creole Omelette
Teddy D.

I heard that this place gets absolutely packed but I happened to stroll in at about 1:30 so it was nice and quiet near closing time. The service was outstanding, my waitress had just a beautiful personality. The food was excellent as well, I had the Oreo pancakes no syrup needed. That creole omelette was straight fire emojis, imitation crabmeat but still delicious. I might've found my new breakfast spot, I will definitely be back!

Food was great, and restaurant was very clean. The only odd thing was the noticeably different and lesser service we received compared to those around us.

Classic Eggs Benedict

Decent brunch spot with a huge menu! I tried the Eggs Benny. It was a good portion size. The English muffin was a little burnt in various parts, but the hollandaise was lovely. Biggest highlight was the service! Debbie was my server and she was so friendly and kind.

Corn beef hash

My son raved about this cafe and since we both are off from work, we came here for breakfast. The parking lot was packed but several patrons were leaving and some did carry out so thankfully, we didn't have to wait for a parking spot. Once inside, the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We were immediately greeted and seated in a booth. Upon being seated, we were greeted and given water by a male staffer and I typically get names so I can jot them down on my reviews, but I forgot to ask. In any case, he was very friendly as well. Our server was Eileen and she was just as welcoming and friendly. They have quite an extensive menu; everything looked so good and settled on ordering the corn beef hash. My son ordered the New Mexico omelet. We chose toast versus pancakes and hash browns versus grits. Our food came quickly and everything was good. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Wow, what a place! Their menu is enormous, so hard to choose from!! Service was amazing, they all have such smiles on their faces. Even though it was extremely busy, they didn't let that determine their mood. The food was absolutely delicious. My skillet was PERFECT. My chai, is very tasty, I'm not sure how they did it this good. That says a lot, I'm a big Chai critic and their chai definitely made my list.

French Sampler

Ordered the French Sampler. It comes with a piece of: stuffed French Toast, banana bread French Toast and Red Velvet French Toast. Also got a side of hash browns. Wife built her own omelet. We both loved our meals. Highly recommend this place. Serving sizes are very generous.

5 5 5 First time here. I ordered the American Breakfast (2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage links, and 2 pancakes) and a carrot cake waffle. Not only was the price reasonable, but the food was delicious. It's a decent size café style restaurant. We thought it would be packed on a Sunday morning. We were right! Just missed the after church rush. Parking can be hard to find if you arrive late. The waiter/waitress will give you the bill, and you pay up front. Great and friendly service.

Always good!!!

This is our favorite brunch spot in all of the southwest suburbs. Food is always on point, huge portions, menu is huge but yet they are still consistent. Eggs Benedict is excellent, their omelettes are huge and fresh, red velvet French toast is to die for, fresh juices are also awesome!

Food was fresh , friendly service. Staff was quick. Delicious!

Food was gross....service was spotty. Too many people crammed into one place made the ambiance LOUD and you could nearly think.

It's located in a…read morestrip mall but the inside is adorable with a homey/living room vibe, fun decor, and local art on display. They had a large main dining room with coffee bar to sit at as well as some back spaces to host events. They recently got new owners who are going to revamp the menu and offer more events to the community. Their menu was smaller but intriguing. They had great signature drink flavors that could be applied to different coffee style drinks. I got the Lavender Shortbread flavor as an iced latte and loved it! My husband got the Chai Latte which he wasn't quite fond of but they asked if he wanted cinnamon on top which was nice. Overall, coffee is their specialty and there's a reason why. I'm sure they have other tea drinks that may have been more favorable as well. I wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy a cup inside rather than to-go.

Pekoe & Bean is a longtime local favorite for breakfast and lunch too. A pretty simple menu great for groups. The prices are kind of high on a few items but it's great quality. Basic items are on the menu that are familiar. It's of course got coffee and tea. They have quite a variety. A lot of the classic favorites. Some unique specialties. It's about $6 to get a latte. They have a few of these. I got the Bananas Foster Latte. This is made with banana syrup. Also they have non dairy milks. The food menu includes salads and sandwiches. It's about $7 for a bowl of chili. This is vegan. Has quite a bit spiciness to it. This is a great one to warm up with. Also they have carrot soup which is great. They also have lots of pastries. Get great stuff at breakfast or lunch and enjoy it. It's open at breakfast and lunch. This is located on Oak Park Avenue at 171st Street.

A number of these cafés…read morehave started in Orland Park, and we're making the round of them ... the last one we were at was Marouf Café, which serves that namesake coffee). Cello was the same, but different. Similar to the Starbucks ethos, they specialize in a number of fancy coffees, yet still offer plain old brewed coffee. We tried the brewed coffee (5-star fresh and hot), some Green Tea called mint (5-star delish), and a fruit crêpe. Now the fruit crêpe was also a 5-star offering, but you better come hungry ... it was a huge helping, and we ended up splitting it but still could not finish. It was a freshly made crêpe with Nutella and a light cream sauce inside, piled with fresh fruit and then a drizzle of Nutella and the cream sauce on top. This was a meal-sized delight. Many of the other offerings seem to be simply a different riff on the fruit crêpe, which can also come on a fresh waffle. Now this is not the kind of place where you pop in for a quick coffee to go ... but, rather, it takes time to get food (service) here because most of it is freshly made. But that said, if you have the time the food (crepes, coffee, and tea) were worth the wait. Ambiance wise, the decor was very nice ... just enough fru-fru to make you forget you're in a strip mall. There are a number of chairs, tables, and and sofas around to make many seating arrangements, which was nice; you can come with a group or as a single and feel welcome. The only negatives on our visit: the music list was fine, but way too loud; they must turn the music down so patrons can have a conversation. When we arrived we noticed an employee parking their car right in front of the establishment (5 feet from the entrance) and we thought that maybe they could have parked in the spaces just across the lot (35 feet from the door); it just makes sense to cater to your customers, rather than yourself. But all that said, this was a nice new offering in Orland Park.

The server was friendly, started out promising, but kind of dragged at the end bringing out the check. It's convenient to the large music venue in Tinley Park if you happen to be headed there for a show. I'm not going to identify the music venue by name, because it keeps changing every few years. I tried the z Mediterranean pita, grilled chicken with sautéed green peppers and onions, it was just okay but leftovers tasted better for next day breakfast. Reuben sandwich was lean and tasty, Monte Cristo nice, and souvlaki very appetizing. Portions are huge. If I return, I will choose breakfast!
