I have been here several times when in the area. Nice atmosphere. To start I ordered sugar free vanilla latte. Note: vanilla is the only sugar free syrup. Once again I had Salmon eggs Benedict. Side item I had Arugula Mix. Eggs Benedict were amazing. The Arugula was disappointing as it had too much oil that it made Arugula "limp". I also ordered beignets and they were tasty. My wife and I too the day off Friday and wanted to just enjoy some great food and company and we decided on Egg Posh for brunch. She's been there before but I haven't and I always love a breakfast spot. Nestled in the corner of the shopping center off Legacy and Lebanon is this quaint and bustling eatery. Your first good sign is the full parking lot; we have to park in Kroger parking and amble over. Inviting frontage and the room is shielded from the sun; there is also plenty of patio seating on the side. The only downside is a bit of a wait because they are very busy; and this was a Friday at 10:45!!! Finally got seated and promptly given waters; and our server came over and took our order right away. We had the benefit of perusing the huge menu before we were shown to our table. We kept us simple; 2 coffees; the berry explosion with crepes(you can have this with waffles, pancakes or French toast!!) and then Ensemble; 1 egg over easy and one well done. I sh*t you not; the food was out in under 5 minutes!!! 5 minutes guys!!! I almost sent the guy away because it was way too quick. But it was our grub; and it looks beautiful!! We had only just gotten our coffees a moment before. In these large classy mugs; and boy did it smell like quality coffee. Throw in the habanero and jalapeno sauces and we were good to go! The food was fantastic!!!! The crisp to the bacon; the flaky biscuits; smooth sausage gravy; the eggs were done perfectly-one firm, the other runny! Then the berry explosion; a waffle cracker to make it look pretty; 3 light crepes; chopped berries(all fresh) and some homemade whipped cream. Fan-effin-tastic!!! The bill was the topping I the experience. It was $42 with taxes for the meals and coffee and honestly very much worth it. It's rare you get great service; great food in a nice setting and not feel like you paid through the nose. The French toast was dry, the sunny-side-up eggs were overcooked, and the cappuccino resembled a watery, flavorless latte more than anything else. Went on a Sunday at noon and almost left as the wait was 45 minutes. But after we ate we agreed we would totally wait again next time. Very attentive service. Enjoyed talking to the hostess outside who has amazing patience dealing with impatient hungry people. She chatted with my group and told us the things she liked on the menu best. We sat outside and the flies were annoying but not their restaurant fault. Maybe place some bug zappers in that area? I had the crab cake Benedict which was a 1000/10. Love that it is on pita bread. I don't always like hollandaise but this was phenomenal. The gouda grits was good as a side. Tasty coffee drinks. Great presentation and loved that the chef came out to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Just plan ahead if you are hungry at a rush breakfast time and maybe get someone to go early and get on the wait list cause it's worth it. Was really excited to try this place out considering how much of a wait there always is. We finally were able to get a table with no wait on a Friday morning, however, the food was severely disappointing. I ordered the short rib benedict. I would not call what they served short rib. It was just sliced pieces of overcooked steak that tasted like it had been cooked a couple days prior. The food came out suspiciously fast as well, the hollandaise had a look to it where you know it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The croissant with bacon jam just tasted like overly sweet bbq sauce that overpowered everything, and they forgot to put the feta on it (not that we would notice as per the previous statement). The french toast was just okay. If I came here again, I would get a simple egg breakfast or plain pancakes. I wouldn't fall into the gimmick of ordering something "fancy" here, as all that is underwhelming food with a flower stabbed in the middle of it. So I was so looking forward to this experience. I met my girlfriend for breakfast you know to catch up on all the things. The location was great, the atmosphere was too cute. Not sure who picked out all of the decorations but details matter ans they did a great job. Service good/okay. They were attentive so that's the good part- but when you ask your server about what's their favorite or what the restaurant is really good at and they respond everything - you know i'm skeptical. I was right. I ordered a vanilla latte (small cup) but good. Lobster Omelet- I asked for no onions (shallots) but the butter sauce had onions in it. Also the lobster was a little dry. Let me tell I me some lobster so I was disappointed. I didn't like ven eat the little pieces of meat that fell out the omelette. I ordered the grits bc the server said it's had cheese and bacon so i thought i would risk it (no clover even after salt n pepper). Should not have - had to exchange it for hash browns. My friend ordered chicken n waffles - she didn't finish half nor did she take it home - I remembered her saying it was dry and not very flavorful. We also ordered the beignets it was $11 for a small order of small beignets. They were not fluffy and airy they were heavy and moist dense like. I read the reviews and just had to try this place out. I live close by and drive by several times a week and never knew it was there. Based on the reviews I ordered the lobster omelet, and was blown away. It was so decadent and amazing. It was so good, I felt guilty putting ketchup on my hash browns which were on the same plate. We went on a Tuesday and were surprised at how busy the restaurant was. We were seated immediately at one of the few tables that were available. To our very pleasant surprise, our server greeted us almost as soon as we sat down. He introduced himself as Jaime & took our drink order. We ordered beignets with our drinks. The drinks came out immediately, and the beignets just a minute or two after. Jaime answered our questions and made suggestions based on the questions asked. I will save the best for last. Parking is not great and it is packed on the weekends so make sure you get there early and be willing to wait. But it is worth the wait. I guess it being packed is a good thing. That says a lot. One of the best breakfast places in DFW. Lots of choices to choose from, but it doesn't affect the quality of the food like a lot of places when they have too much on the menu. Quality of food and presentation is absolutely divine. When I'm eating a high carb or heavy meal I like something light with it to bring balance. They have this amazing simple bed of arugula with pickled red onions and Its just so delicious with everything on the menu. I always get it as my side. I had the lobster omelette The first time I came, which was very good. You don't see appetizers often on a breakfast menu but here they have them and they are fun. I love the different Birria and short rib options as they are some of my favorite. I do wish the portions were a little bigger, but the pricing isn't bad for the delicious food you're getting. The food is always great, beautifully presented, a lovely restaurant, and the owner and his staff are so friendly that you feel important and seen. Tried this place out for the first time and there's a lot to unpack. The restaurant is decorated nice, plain and simple nothing wild, but cozy. One thing though, it seems like they tried to pack as much into this space as possible because it's super LOUD. Parents were letting their kids bang silverware like they were Phil Collins performing his solo for In the Air Tonight. It wasn't until a waiter said it's a little loud that the parents stopped their very important talk about Pilates to correct their child. The food was delicious and the service was standard for a brunch spot nothing wild. Small bite came out before main course which is always ideal, FYI it's not, it's sarcasm. The only complaint would be that their cocktails are more expensive than others in the area for brunch ($10 mimosa versus down the street are $5). That being said, the mango mimosa was delicious and definitely ask for Heidi, she was an excellent server. One thing to note is that you really need to be already here when you check in for the waitlist. They have a 15 minute limit on how long you can check in, in person Before they remove your name off the waitlist. This isn't well publicized so there were quite a few people perturbed about this process when their name got dropped from the waitlist, including myself.
