My wife and I recently started eating Brueggers and have had it about 3 times each and absolutely LOVE IT. We always go the same location off Alton Parkway. Before I give my review on the food, I want to give a big shoutout to the GM Raymond Kletke. He was extremely professional explaining a situation with payment and we had a awesome conversation about other things. Far as the food, we have to say Brueggers is more refined far as tasted and even quality. The bagels were extremely hard to where "BOTH" of our jaws were hurting from the excessive chewing. The sandwich was ok but was underwhelming. It lacked a depth of flavor and even the texture of the bacon was extra chewy. The hashbrown lacked flavor all together where I didn't even finish it. The only thing I felt tasted decent was the blueberry muffin which is saddening being that that's not intended to be the standout of the meal. But my wife didn't eat hers because was too sweet (she said it tasted like breakfast cereal). I admit, I started to give this a 2-3 at first but when I watched my wife struggle to bite into her bagel and after few minutes she said her jaw was hurting as well, I had to be honest. Also, they don't take anything such as PayPal, Cashapp or payments to that nature (even though Brueggers does) I got charged twice and have to wait for bank releases the hold of funds back into my account. The price for everything was GREAT even though the quality wasn't and because I have the app, I get rewards we can be used at Brueggers as well. I'm hoping this reaches management and higher up to improve quality, because their sister restaurant is 10 times better or some form of action taken. read more

This is one of my favorite places to get bagels. My favorite bagel is their Asiago cheese bagel. They add just the right amount of cheese to it. The employees are very friendly as well. Their cinnamon rasin bagels taste good as well. I highly recommend this place if you like good bagels. They also have a good selection of bagels. I also enjoy ordering their bagels and lox. I ordered early morning and everything they gave me was like dried out and stale and Cold. They charged me $7 for a stale dry cinnamon roll that wasn't even warm. For $7 they better give me a freshly made piping hot roll that is warm enough to melt the icing and make it nice and gooey. The bagel pizza was bad for $12 just can't even go there. It's like they skinned a bagel put some cheddar cheese and a pepperoni on the skin and toasted it till it was dry and weird. Not good. And the everything bagel that was $6 ($2.50 to add cream cheese) I requested extra toasted and came cold and stale and soft and the thinnest skimpiest brushing of liquified cream cheese on it. Is that $2.50 of cream cheese? I wouldn't even charge a penny for that. I would make it free cause I have shame. Have been a member for years. Every Monday I would go to my local store and buy a dozen bagels during their Monday member discount. I was out of town for a few weeks and when I returned I was told I could not have the deal because I did not make a purchase the week before. What???? I have been a member for years and was basically told I needed to make a purchase to get the discount. But... I'm a member. It's a member perk. I have been a loyal member for years. My nieces, nephews, and my kids wanted to get together for breakfast at my daughter's new place. So, I immediately searched a place that is open on a holiday, and this location surprisingly was open, as their other branches were closed. I ordered online and got their HALF DOZEN SIGNATURE EGG SANDWICHES ($46.99) and their BAKER'S DOZEN BAGEL BOX ($18.49). These are such awesome deals to feed picky spoiled eaters like my kids. The signature sandwiches came with 1 Turkey-Sausage & Cheddar, 1 Applewood Bacon & Cheddar, 1 All-Nighter, and 1 Garden Avocado. The favorite was the All-Nighter. It was very delicious and wished I got a side of it for myself. The Baker's Dozen Bagel Box is such a great deal. I used to bring it in the office pre-pandemic. You get a dozen bagels of your choice of flavors and 2 tubs of their SHMEARS. It used to be $17.99, but I just checked their website and is now $18.49. Still a good value in my opinion. Their bagels are delicious and larger than the store-bought ones. But the one that makes their bagels extra tasty is their Shmears. My favorite is the HONEY ALMOND. I usually order online, and it's ready by the specified time you requested. Service is limited when you order online, and I highly recommend it as it's fast, and easy. I've walked in their store couple of times before and it can be painfully slow especially in the morning when they're busy. We had a large meeting yesterday and I needed to provide coffee and some snacks. I wasn't in the office so I needed something delivered. I ordered from their catering menu: 2 coffee canisters and pastries. I received the confirmation email so I thought everything was good to go. When the delivery time past and nobody showed up, I called the store. Luckily, the GM picked up the phone. He let me know that the order shouldn't have gone through. Any orders placed after 3PM are available for pick up/delivery the following day. Their system must have glitched because my email confirmation contained an invoice with the delivery date & time - which matched what I had requested. The GM was super helpful and was able to help me out still. He quickly got my order together and PERSONALLY delivered it to our office and set it up in the conference room for us. Now that is AMAZING customer service. He literally saved the day. Thank you for going above and beyond for your customers. PS - I love their bagels. The garden smear is a MUST! :) read more

Honestly I love the food here soooooo much. But since I stopped going to my on campus one and just come here all the times have not been good. Oh wow wow wow. Where to begin. I had such a horrible experience. Let me tell you, if you want to wake up in the morning, visit this location and ask for Zach. Zach was very rude to me right off the bat. I wanted to make it easy for him so I specified my order saying, "Can I have a bakers dozen, just bagels, no cream cheese please?" I guess I wasn't specific enough because he responded very rudely saying, "What do you want." I thought maybe it's a one off comment so I continued with the order. I looked down to my phone to see the list that was provided to me and answered him. Whilst answering Zach, he walked away and yelled at me from across the room "I can help you over here." I was shocked and just went over there to attempt to finish my order. Once I got there he demanded, "What do you want." So I read the list to him again. When he finished getting the bagels, Zach curtly responded with, "There's only 11; you have 2 more." I responded with, "I'm not sure which 2 are missing but I'll reread the list." I gave him the list one more time, which he rudely cut me off saying "you did NOT say 2 cinnamon bagels." He then replied saying you have one left in your order. Then I said "I don't think so because 11+2=13 right?" He then said Ok and walked away. By now, I was so confused in our interaction. I met him at the cash register where he rang me up. I didn't want to mess up the order because this is for work so I asked him to count the bagels again where he screamed at me saying "There's 12." I asked him if I could have one more and he rudely said "What do YOU want!" At that point I gave up and said, "Just surprise me." Now some background. Another lady at work usually picks up the bagels but she had an appointment to attend so I volunteered to do it this week. I went to a different location than where we usually get it from because this one is closer to where I live. I have never ordered from Einstein Bros. Bagels before. This was my very first time. To have this experience, I was shocked to say the least. I found out later that I needed to ask them to slice the bagels. But I wonder, if I did ask Zach to slice the bagels, would he start throwing the bagels at me? I just felt like I annoyed him by just walking in. Nestled in a nice shopping next to Ralph's and kitty corner to Corner Bakery sits Einstein Bagels. As mornings go they can go slow or busy in a heart beat. When first in it was quiet and as I ordered and after order pick up it got busy. The team handled it in stride. No rush on anyones part and things ran smoothly. Customers each left happy with hands full of bagel delights. I tried the the Garden Avocado. Food was good A bit disappointed with the service. Had order messed up with multiple items forgotten and one drink was rung in incorrectly so they charged me extra. To the batista credit they did give me a food item to compensate me but I'd rather they'd just get my order correct. It's a bit cramped in the restraunt, not too bad but might be better to take your food to go or dine outside if the weather is nice. read more

I have been here a few times and all I can say is that it must be a nightmare to work here, it is not hard to see that all of the workers at the front are giving 100% of their effort during the rush except for the manager Raymond. During lunch hour today the customers were able to hear the manager screaming at one of the workers in the back from what seemed to be about boxes, making it uncomfortable for all of the workers as well as the customers that were being served. Will not be coming back again. I have never left a yelp review before but I had to for this place because this is no way to treat your workers. I stopped in here this morning around 6:45am. I walked over to where the bagels were as I figured that's where I ordered. Two employees were over by the register to the right of the bagels working, but also chatting away. There was one other customer there, and he was waiting on his order which was being made. There were three other employees, so five total. Five employees to two customers and no one could be bothered that I was there - until the guy in front of me got his food, one woman by the register finally said I needed to walk up to the other register to be helped. While the employee behind the counter made the other customers food, he was flirting with another female employee. She easily could've taken my order but clearly no one cared. My order was simple. Plain bagel, easy cream cheese, cucumber slices. I will say, the second star is because he actually listened to me and gave me easy cream cheese. That never happens anywhere - it's always piled on. So I'm thankful for that. My bag with my bagel was tossed up on the counter when it was done. It was bland, and really not anything to write home about and the bagel was a little tough. I live super close by and am a rewards member, so I love stopping by for a bagel or a sandwich every now and then, especially during Covid. Although some people say Einstein's is overrated, I actually have enjoyed all the items I've tried on their menu. The Pizza Bagel and Avocado Toast are items I have gotten more than once, so I'd say I do enjoy those. As for the egg sandwiches, the Farmhouse or Chorizo Sunrise are both delicious but on days I'm feeling healthier, I'll get the Garden Avocado haha, The Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich is also a great option if you're in the mood for a more traditional sandwich. As for the bagels, I actually really like the Ancient Grain.. LOL it may not look the most appetizing but it is very hearty. The Everything Bagel and Onion Bagel are my go-tos. I'm a little pickier about the shmears. If I'm going for something savory, I do Plain or Garlic Herb, but I love the Honey Almond if I want something sweeter. Want bagels? Einstein has you covered!! They have tons of options, from bagel sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, to savory and sweet bagels, to tons of cream cheese varieties. I am only docking 1 star since their cashier can get really busy and the wait time can be annoying some mornings. Otherwise, they have easy options for grabbing a baker's dozen (12+1 bagels plus 2 tubs of smear) that make it simple for getting bagels for a large group. I usually come here to pick up bagels for my coworkers when we have a special event or team breakfast and so far they have always been consistent. I just wish they would offer some of their "premium" bagels in the bakers dozen box without upcharging. Easy parking in the plaza! Seating seems limited at the moment inside, but you can still grab a table outside. read more

While we were out shopping for bathroom tile and cabinets, my stomach started growl so we stopped at Einstein Bagels. Wow! They have some of the best bagels and amazing, unique choices. We ordered a Chorizo Sunrise breakfast sandwich. As soon as I saw a Green Chile bagel, I knew I wanted it. It had a Chorizo Sausage patty, Smashed Avocado, Cheddar Cheese, fried Egg and Jalapeño Salsa Shmear, all served on a Green Chile Gourmet Bagel. We also ordered the Texas Brisket Bagel Sandwich. It had smoked beef brisket, cheddar with smoky chipotle aioli on a new Jalapeño Bacon Gourmet Bagel. Super yummy! You can't go with any of their sandwiches or bagels.
