It opens earlier than most bagel places in the area. Their nacho cheese bagel was delicious; however, their "Darn Good" Orange Juice was of poor quality. The orange juice was watered down and lacked any sort of taste, definitely not worth the money for that. read more

We went here for breakfast this Sunday morning with my daughter. Mixed review. We arrived before 10 am just in front of the crowd. Not certain why, but it appears a wide difference in attention to quality from sandwich to sandwich. The cheese and bacon bagel was not received well. One small slice of undercooked bacon and a dollop of mayo in the center. All other sandwiches were cut in half except this one. Bagels are great! I highly suggest a pretzel bagel with blueberry cream cheese its a great blend of salty and sweet. The service is terrible. The line never moves quickly. They have gotten my order wrong three separate times twice the wrong cream cheese and once the wrong kind of bagel. I now always check in my bag to see if it's right before I leave. read more

I called to make a large order and they informed me they are no longer taking phone orders you must come in to order (how does that make good business / covid sense) So I go in and order breakfast burritos and they ran out over the weekend... ok then I place a different order. I ordered coffee and the manger "huffed" at me and said it would take 15 min. I said ok, as she's walking away while we are talking. When she came back I said I do want the coffee order, she said fine I'll make it and charge you after. So I leave for 15 min come back and there is a line, as I go in to retrieve my order she states she hasn't started the coffee yet the line is to long. Wasn't my order before this line? I then said that's ok I'll still wait and she said no we don't have time to do it now there are only the 2 of us on shift and they couldn't do it anymore. She clearly didn't want to do it in the first place. Why offer it on the menu if your employees are going to refuse to make it. My first time visiting this location and was overall very disappointed. Customer service was lacking greatly and they quite frankly just didn't seem to care about anyone who walked through the door. I ordered the avocado toast and when I got my bagel it was untoasted with a skimpy amount of avo, so I went up to the counter and said that I apologized & I didn't know I had to request for it to be toasted (even though on the menu it said that it came toasted). They went ahead and remade my bagel from me with even less than the little avocado I began with. I asked another team member if I was able to get more avocado or if the little that I got was typical despite the picture and she said that it was the usual amount of avocado that they put. I was surprised that she didn't offer to add more for me especially since you could tell I was disappointed with it considering the price. I ended up just asking them to wrap it up to go because it took too long and i didnt even want to eat there anymore and left. Had high hopes but left overall dissapointed and ended up just going to corner bakery. read more

5 stars for the bagels; zero stars for customer service. I placed my order on 3/7/18 around 10:15 am. I have been purchasing bagels from Einstein's all my life. I seriously love their food. I used to go here every week with my friends and the customer service was always great. Recently, I have been going once a week and buying the Baker's Dozen(13 bagels and 3 shmears) to use as breakfast for my family. It lasts us a week if I freeze some bagels. I was observing the young woman who was putting my order together and noticed she was slicing all the bagels. This in itself is not even what created the poor experience. In all my years purchasing from this shop, they have never once sliced the bagels. Not once. They have never even asked if I wanted them sliced(like Panera Bread Does). Not once. So naturally I've assumed that this is the status quo. When the associate brought me my order I asked if she had sliced all the bagels and if they normally do that. She said they come sliced and that the gentleman at the register had told her to. She asked me," how many did you want sliced?" Truthfully, I didn't want any of them sliced as they were not all meant to be consumed today and having them sliced would affect their quality and possibly cost me money if I had to throw them away. As a customer, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of throwing away food I had paid for. I told her very politely, " I didn't want any of these sliced as they aren't all for today." She practically huffed and puffed her way to the register and treated me like it was my fault. It was pretty embarrassing that someone who was getting paid to work there gave a customer such a huge attitude. The gentlemen on register obviously noticed her storm back behind the counter( as did the entire cafe). He asked loud enough for everyone to hear, " WHAT HAPPENED?!?" She replied, " SHE DIDN'T WANT THEM SLICED!!". She proceeds to angrily throw new bagels into the box while both of them shoot looks time from across the room . No engagement, no questions, no apologies. I work at Starbucks. It doesn't matter whose fault it was... you always make it right for your customers. Thanks to you both for such a terrible anxiety filled experience. I will not be returning to your location( the location I spend the majority of my purchases at for the last 7 years). I'd rather drive the extra 6 miles to the Huntington beach location. read more

I was just at this location and I will say the service and quality was far from what it used to be. For starters, when it was our turn the gentleman at the counter began to take our order and then walked away from the counter mid-order to help out another employee. When he came back we finished our order for 4 bagel sandwiches, (two of which included a side and he ended up charging me for one, then ignored the other side request). As we waited they called us up to the counter and stated they were out of a bagel usually used on one of the sandwiches. We requested which bagel we desired and they also offered to exchange and toast the bagel on my sandwich. Obviously, I chose to take them up on that only to come home and find that our sandwiches were all pretty measly, and my bagel was not anywhere near toasted. With the service being incredibly slow and the fact that they couldn't take down a simple bagel sandwich order I am giving this location 1 star. The Tasty Turkey on toasted asiago cheese bagel is delish!

Some of the best bagels and coffee around. All of the new faces are slow, and somewhat unfriendly though. The bagels and coffee are still good when they manage to still have them...bring back the old Einstein's! Since this makeover, I've been less than pleased with the place. And I come here a lot... Not to mention that I followed 2 people in today near closing time and they served them directly in front of me and turned me away. Not the way to treat a regular. I just wanted a soda on top of it all and they still said no. Poor service can really ruin even the best places. I suggest customer service training classes. read more

I love stopping at this Einstein Bagel. I usually get a coffee and a bagel. I'm always helped right away, the employees are nice and hard working, and the food is great. The only negative is that when gets really busy though, it's difficult to walk through the dining room area from the counter to the coffee pots, because some customers try to order bagels at the register instead of ordering at the far end of the counter. If the traffic flow issue was resolved, I would give them an extra star on the ratings. read more

We have this thing called "Bagel Friday" in our department. The bagel boy got our orders from Eistein Bro each friday before coming to work. All I have to say is, we can't live with out the bagel on Fridays. We are like pavlo's dog,on Friday morning, we start to salivate when we arrived work and the first thing to do is rushing into the Finance Office to see if the bagel boy has arrived or not. It's not hard to figure out whether bagel boy is in the office on Friday or not simply just look at the happy meter in the office. If you see people with sad faces, walking with their head down and dragging their feet around the office like there's a heavy weight tight up to their feets vs people running around w/ bagel on their hands and a big satisfy smile on their faces. Hmmm... My usual is jalapeno and cheese which is so called the special, and it cost $2, sometimes I would crave for chocolate chips bagel $1.50. It's pricy @ work but who would cares if someone deliver to work and it always come w/ unlimited cream cheese and friendly smile? You can charge everything to visa card.. but satisfaction after eating Einstein Bro's bagels in D&CS? Priceless..... read more

Don't come here for breakfast if you're trying to start your day on a positive note. Stopped by here last week when I was in the area around 10am and it was pretty empty at the time. When I went up to order I politely said hello and asked the girl how she was doing. I didn't think it was that weird or out of the ordinary but then the girl just gave me a stare that said "I don't care". Fine. Then in the middle of my order, the girl started shouting out the back that they were running low on a certain bagel. I'm ordering ONE bagel, you can wait until I'm done to start screaming. Then when she asked for my name, I clearly spelled it out for her but she didn't even try to spell it correctly. I know I don't have a common name, but when my order was ready they called out "Dora", which isn't even close so I had no idea it was mine. When no one went to claim it, I realized I was Dora, but when I went up to ask about it, no one wanted to be bothered with my question. Obviously I'm not expecting extraordinary customer service from a place like this, but some common manners and decency is appreciated. 2 stars for the bagel being good, but I will not be coming back here. read more
