SO GOOD! I came here during a weekday for lunch and waited about 10 minutes for my food to come out. I got the #10 combo- tacos dorados (beef) and it was delicious. They give you a red sauce too to put on the tacos - absolute must! Adds even more flavor. You can either eat there or get your food to-go. I opted to eat in the restaurant today. Once they called my number, I got a tray of my food all hot and fresh and ready to eat. Before I knew it... my plate was clean! It was my first time there but I took the cues from other patrons and threw the trash from my tray away and placed the tray on top of the trash cans when I was all done. Very casual (and delicious) sorta place. Overall very filling and great portions of the beans and rice too. Mmm... I need to go back already!! :9

We love this place. When you walk in they have all the food there on display and you can watch them prepare the dishes. They have two registers to speed service and once you place your order you can find a table. This is a paper plate kinda place, bus your own table and noisy. Everything we have had (and we eat here often) tastes home made. So this visit I decided to try their Ensenada Style fish tacos and honestly these were the best fish tacos I have ever had. The fish taco plate was enough to feed a hungry appetite, two tacos, beans and rice for $12!!

Came across because a friend referred me to this Mexican restaurant , and it definitely delivered. The place is simple and straightforward, but don't let that fool you--the food speaks for itself. I ordered the carnitas plate with rice and beans, along with some tacos, and everything had that authentic, homemade flavor. The carnitas were tender, juicy, and full of flavor, not dry at all. Rice and beans were solid, just how you want them, and the tacos were loaded and fresh with crisp lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a good balance of salsa. You can tell this is one of those spots where they focus on doing the basics right. Portions were good, food came out quick, and it hit the spot. If you're in the area and craving legit Mexican food, especially carnitas, this is a solid stop.

Great food, quick, friendly service, tasty, tasty, tasty. Nuff said. Oh, this was Kobe Bryant's favorite Mexican restaurant. GOAT NBA player; Kobe or MJ? I loved Kobe, but I gotta go with MJ. LeBron isn't even close. Just my humble opinion.

Good variety of plates and combos. Second time here, I think the prices are fair and the servings are good. Hits the spot everytime

Food- A+ Service- B+ Ambience- B This restaurant is a long-standing favorite for those near and far. There are so many things to choose from. I had watermelon agua Fresca and it was delicious and refreshing. Be careful when ordering because it's easy to over order. I had a chile relleno plate, number 12 it was. It came with rice, beans, tortillas and a small salad. I also got an al pastor tostada, but I ended up taking it home. The rice is perfect, the beans are tasty and well seasoned. The relleno was delicious and it had a red chili inside instead of green.

If anybody knows, this was Kobe Bryant's favorite Mexican food spot. Came here to see what all the fuss was about. It surpassed expectations. Carnitas, green salsa and beans, a win!!

They could handle large orders at this location. Time Needed is minimal if ordering just meats. If you need sides like rice and beans then best for at least a few days time. But if it's just meat, 24 hours would suffice. They did in my situation.…

I have to say that we had a wonderful time eating some scrumptious food! Everything was prepared to our satisfaction and tasted absolutely delicious! My daughter (my Princess) had Birria Al Vapor which were seasoned perfectly. She really loved her dish! My wife (my Queen) had fluffy Waffles with tasty scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. She was totally satisfied as well! I had the combination Flajitas Flat Iron with tender chicken breast meat, juicy sautéed shrimp, and moth watering steak. My meal was Bomb!! Both the Flajitas and the Birria Al Vapor came with rice and beans as well and were quite filling! Lagos gets an A+ for the food for sure!! We were fortunate enough to have Rene Gonzalez as our waiter and he took excellent care of us. He was pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He took his job seriously and seemed to enjoy every minute of what he was doing. He kept our drinks refilled and ensured that we had everything that we needed and wanted to enjoy our meal at this establishment! Shout out to you Rene, as well as all of the other waiters and waitresses who worked and also stopped by our table during our meal to see if we needed anything . It was awesome to see everyone working together and getting along so well! I can see how this place can be so popular because of staff like these guys!! Thanks to you all for handling such a busy day with professionalism, grace and warm smiles while doing so! This is truly commendable! We will definitely be back! As far as the ambiance is concerned, Lagos is a stunningly beautiful building on the inside and outside! It has beautiful arches and high ceilings which are adorned with authentic sculptures and pristine lighting. There is ample seating in various sections of the expansive restaurant, with comfortable seating both inside and outside! The atmosphere is warm and comforting, and all patrons seemed to enjoy their stay while eating and fellowshipping together! This was totally Awesome!! I ordered the asada taco plate; they were the most plain and dry tacos I have ever eaten. My first thought at first bite was that even street tacos taste better than these. It's not a big restaurant but they spaced it out great and have a great bar, western, Hispanic vibe to the whole place. I loved the artwork and photos with frames. The service was great, between the bartenders, check in and our host we were always tended to and asked how we are enjoying our experience. Now.. when I heard taco buffet... I'll admit I was skeptical. So when my buddie suggested this for our foodie group I figured give it a shot. I'll start by saying ... I'd go every Tuesday lol it was a simple buffet they had every meat you needed, the carne asada was good, the chicken was good, the barbacoa was friggin delicious my favorite was the Al pastor. And the mushrooms ... usually at buffets have dry or oily food and this was pretty damn good to be honest. I think it's a solid business plan to do taco Tuesday like this. On top of all that the mini churros were good, the salsas were delicious. The chips were alright I think that's the only thing that was ok for me but overall I enjoyed myself very much. ALSO!!! My no-carb-loving husband was ultra jealous. The options at this taco Tuesday bar are seriously impressive--at least six different proteins, nacho cheese, pozole, all kinds of salsas and toppings, plus four flavors of agua fresca to try. And to top it all off, you can end your meal with crispy, sweet churros! This spot is definitely worth checking out, especially on Tuesdays. Come out and have some fun!

You're better off parking along the streets and walking here. It's a casual dining so you order and then sit wherever you want. There's indoor and outdoor seating. During rush hour, it's pretty hectic. The salsa and toppings bar is located right next to the ordering line, so people were constantly squeezing past each other to get through. It wasn't very convenient, and with the restaurant already being on the smaller side, it could easily feel cramped and overwhelming for anyone who doesn't like tight spaces. However, I do like that there is an open salsa and toppings bar. They even have pickled onions, radish, and carrots. The salsas were very good as well, not overly spicy. I tried the carne asada, pastor, and chicken tacos. All of which were really good and well marinated. Meats were tender and not dry at all. Just on the taste alone, I'll definitely be back and will be paying with cash or debit next time. They definitely need a warning for credit surcharges and hopefully it won't be a rush hour next time I go.
