The asada is awesome delicious, it also comes with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and jalapenos, rice, beans and your choice of tortillas. Usually over for lunch, the customer service is usually pretty but did find a hair on my ceaser salad, dicided to give it a second chance and then my co-worker found a dead fly again on the same salad. I've passed by this Mexican restaurant whenever I would drive to the Norwalk/Downey area but I haven't given it a try until recently. The location is conveniently located near the Norwalk Civic Center and numerous shops around the area like Shoeteria and there is plenty of parking on the lot. The restaurant has that typical "hole-in-the-wall" quality one would expect when they step inside. The atmosphere of the place isn't why I came here; it was the delicious and generously-portioned food. I ordered a carne asada wet burrito & a sweet, refreshing medium horchata. I was also served chips & medium spicy salsa. The cashier and servers were friendly and made sure that the restaurant was clean. I will eat here again the next time I'm passing through Norwalk. read more

this place is awesome. great service, great food, homey mom n pop atmosphere. the refried beans are lard heaven! the rice is good.... you know what, i REALLY havent had anything bad heres. at worst, it's good, and at best, it's awesome. oh and cant forget the chips n salsa. there's something about them that really good. it IS the mexican lunch spot for all of my coworkers. why cant they have something like this on the westside? oh and the little waitress lady is so nice. she must make a killing with the tips. only complaint... they dont open early enough for me to take advantage of the breakfast burrito they got goin on. :( read more
