I reserved a seat in advance when I came on Saturday night it wasn't that full. I was immediately seated and had drinks out pretty fast. Staff was great. The environment was very modern clean and friendly. I tried the margarita fire bread (aka pizza) and it was the best pizza I've ever had! The pizza was served with fresh basil, and it was served very warm. after the pizza, I had a brownie dessert! it was amazing. It was served hot and gooey just how I like it! i'll be coming back soon five stars for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ember! Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. After enjoying happy hour drinks ($4 for house wine), we opted for the wood-fire pizza, which did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious and so was the Eula Mae dessert (pound cake, fresh cream, and berries). 10 out of 10 experience!

Very nice - elegant - expensive - steak and seafood restaurant. We had the Hogs in a Quilt as the appetizer and they were amazing! The steak was very very good , definitely the best steak on the island and in the Brunswick area.

The great place to celebrate! We were able to celebrate my sister's 58th birthday here before we ended our weekend trip, and we are all happy we were able to get reservations. The ambience, decor and service, met our expectation for "fine dining" and the food provides a delicious experience sealing the deal. The poundcake is the best dessert- we all got a second order to go.

Ember is one of my favorite restaurants on St. Simons Island! The food and service are always great and the ambiance is perfect for a great evening out with friends or date night! I love that many of the menu items are locally sourced! You can choose from delicious pork, seafood, or beef dishes that are paired with tasty vegetables and sides. So many unique options that change with the seasons. I love going to Ember and trying different masterpieces the chef has created!

There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). Good bathrooms and lots of tasty looking items in the refrigerated cases (including various types of seafood to cook).

I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return!

One piece of advice.....stay away from the scallops. Worst scallops I've ever had. Ordered them grilled but they looked like they had been boiled and covered with heavy spice.....terrible! All the other meals looked great but they really need to simplify the scallops. It's not that hard to do.

Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.

I highly recommend their buffalo crab dip, a concoction that is a buffalo cheese dip served with fresh lump crab. You can really taste the crab in this dish. They don't skimp on it at all. The most clever thing that they did here, though, is to serve it with wonton chips. It's something that's truly unique, as most restaurants would serve a dish like this with regular chips. The wonton chips are a treat unto themselves, having great wonton flavor. However, when you combine it with the dip, it really takes it over the top. Highly recommend. For my entree, I had their Cajun Alfredo pasta. It is linguine served in a "Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce". It is "served with tasso and smoked sausage", and you can choose to have it with either chicken or wild GA shrimp. In either case, once again, they do not skimp . You get a heaping portion of either chicken or shrimp, and the sauce is very tasty. It is just as described, an Alfredo sauce with a little Cajun flavor, though it is not spicy. It is served with no sides, but no sides are necessary as it is a hearty portion all by itself. Very delicious. The most impressive thing that I saw is that the owner is very hands-on. They have these new-fangled mobile electronic lamps, and the owner came by and noticed that ours wasn't quite working. He replaced it immediately himself. He was very friendly and chatted us up. He also went around and was serving and clearing tables himself. It seems that if you eat here, there's a strong possibility that you could end up meeting the owner! Meeting him was a very nice touch. The only thing that I had a hard time with here was choosing a dish because everything looked so good on the menu! Delicious food and great service. I strongly recommend this place!
