Not sure exactly where this place is located however I have DoorDash from them a few times and they never disappoint - I first started eating epic wings back in the day when they were based out in San Diego area off the Mira Mesa exit. I'm so happy that they branched out to other locations for everyone to be able to eat their delicious wings! Hands down this place is much tastier than buffalo wild wings or Wingstop. read more

The food is amazing if you can handle the heat go reaper but if you want just the right amount of zing get the epic fries half extra hot and half atomic it won't steer you wrong and forget your extra chipotle ranch on the side! An entire plate stuffed with thick, freshly cut fries, the Epic Fries were tummy stuffing and good! I don't partake of fries that much, but made the exception for my birthday month treat. Ample amounts of boneless chicken, too! Service was great. The woman at the register was friendly, and my Epic Fries were cooked to order, so it took a bit of awhile. There is a good amount of interior seating, with a spacious patio for dining al fresco. Epic Wings is located at the Bixby Knolls Center, with plenty of parking available. With a Weekday Happy Hour 4pm - 7pm, and a not too shabby Birthday Month freebie for Rewards members, Epic Wings highly impressed me. As a guy who soured on Buffalo Wild Wings & Wingstop, it's nice to know there's a wing shop that goes above & beyond, despite not being the best for the bottom line. My friend from San Diego told me about this place, as that is where they started, so I was eager to try the location within a reasonable distance from me. First time here. Before grocery shopping next door my wife & I decided to try this place out. The menu was fairly small & simple, which wasn't bad just for the record. They have bone in wings and strips as far as chicken goes. We had George as our cashier, he was friendly and explained how the strips were breaded & very tasty. We werent sure which sauce we wanted, he offered us a sample of the sweet chili sauce, it was so good. We ordered the #1 combo, 3 strips, fresh breadsticks, some.celery & carrot sticks and a drink for $13.95. Now we expected to receive some small strips and skinny bread sticks but that's NOT what we got. George delivered our food to the table with a smile, asked if we needed anything. When he walked away we both looked at the plate, the atrips were big, thick, and hearty (and juicy). The breadsticks were filling, very full and fluffy for lackmof other words and the strips had a generous amount of sauce, we were both quite pleased. I also ordered the fries, I love me some good fries. These were the best, hot, lightly salted and so fresh. Very happy with the food! The inside was clean and spacious. The restroom had 2 stalls, 1 was pretty cramped, a bit small for us full figured women. But very clean and well kept. George came to.the table a couple times to check on us and to offer us a catering menu. He was such a friendly guy and was attentive to all.customers as they came in. Structure- Prices have gone up. Which is acceptable, inflation has pushed a lot of prices up. But these prices are no longer fair. You don't even have single wings on your menu anymore. You push people directly into family meals. At 4pm on a national championship night, you only have one cashier and one cook. Your wait times are excessive and not even accurate anymore. 35 minutes for 16 wings is ridiculous. You started off great, but at this rate, you're gonna be closed before the end of this year. Seen it happen to. All the others who started a hot like you, and then start cutting and all the wrong ways. And raising prices. This is my last time I will purchase from your store. Well, I was excited to try it because of the great reviews. I'm sure the wings are great but a gentlemen walked in in front of us, then we came in after and stood at the register with no service. There was a guy in the back making orders that wouldn't even make eye contact with us. The gentlemen in front of us left after waiting forever. Then we proceeded to leave as well and the kitchen guy happily didn't stop us. Maybe it's just take out. But wow! Really sad. I also ordered the Pizza Stick. Probably a slight mistake on my part, but a welcomed one at the same time. I underestimated just how big one the stick was going to be. My daughter wanted the garlic Parmesan pizza sticks and boy was it hella SALTY and SUPER GREASY. She couldn't eat it from how drenched the bread was of butter. We could even see the bubbles as we squeezed the bread. Now, I get that might be the recipe, but the cook over did it. It was my daughter's bday and all she wanted was the epic pizza sticks. We both really liked the mild buffalo flavor. The lemon pepper was just ok. We felt it needed more of the seasoning. The bread sticks were soft and delicious! I didn't care for the blue cheese but the ranch was good. It was a good amount of food as each meal comes with 4 tenders (or 5 if they are small), 2 bread sticks, celery/carrots and a side of dressing. I just want to say that I am a loyal epic wings consumer and have visited most if not all locations in the Los Angeles and San Diego area but this location by far has taken the cake. The service was exceptional. Dylan made sure that my food came of hot, just like I wanted it and made sure I had everything I needed. He was super attentive but an amazing person overall.
