The vibes at this place are off the charts! We came here for a girlfriends lunch, I hadn't heard of it before, let alone that they JUST opened. They were packed! Christina even gave us a round of champagne as we waited for a long time. So thoughtful and didn't go unnoticed! So happy to see a business thriving. It's beautiful, the staff was amazing! Our served V was an angel, so fun and knew the menu. The little gem salad, chocolate cake, and the crispy chicken sandwich were SO good! Check this place out, you won't be disappointed. I have had etta multiple times now and it has been delicious every time. They have great pizza and pasta, but the brunch is my favorite. Very professional and friendly staff. I have dined here 3 times and it seems to have improved with time. As most restaurants have bugs to sort out in the beginning and I'm well aware that staffing is challenging in all restaurants these days. We went for brunch on the weekend and it was busy but service was still very good. The food was as well. Love that bread! Had an excellent salad as well. The food here is simply incredible. Every dish I had was amazing. The focaccia bread to start, salads, fish, pizza, pasta, all great. The drinks are DELISH as well. The vibes and low lighting are sexy, great music on the weekend evenings. Can be a bit loud so definitely more geared towards a younger crowd at night. read more

Let me start this off by saying that we love the etta in LA and thought it would be a good spot to take our family while visiting Scottsdale. On top of the great food, the dog-friendly atmosphere has always made it a pleasant dining experience We made a reservation well in advance and at no time during the reservation process were we asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating (we even tested this after leaving and tried booking for the same day and other days). We had our dog with us, so we were expecting to be seated outside. Upon arrival, the rude hostess looked us up and down and said, "Oh you have a dog?" We asked if there was outdoor seating, and instead of saying, "we are so sorry, we have an outdoor event going on and will not be able to accommodate you today," she said, "did you book outdoor seating? There's only indoor seating available." She essentially put the blame on us for something we could not have controlled during the booking process and didn't apologize AT ALL for having to turn us away. Just a crappy experience all around. We will not be returning. P.S. We were shopping for 3 hours after our reservation and did not see an outdoor event going on in that time. read more

We made a dinner reservation here for my bachelorette weekend and it was such a great decision! We had the most friendly waitress and I wish I could remember her name because she deserves recognition!!! We had a party of 10 and our food came out very quickly. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and our food was amazing!!! I had such a good experience here. Meal was good and our server was outstanding. The only setback in my view is that you quietly slide a 5% surcharge on the bill which is labelled as an "employment benefit charge". We were never informed of the surcharge until we brought it up at which time they said they could take it off the bill. I am all for employee benefits however the customer should not be paying for that. As an employer that is a cost of doing business.Food tasted good but the surcharge left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

There was nothing we didn't eat that we didn't enjoy: apple fritter, cinnamon bun, meatballs (we ordered a second round) sizzling shrimp (poorly named, but still good), huevos rancheros, French toast and chop salad were all great. The drinks were well balanced and delicious. Things are a little pricey, but it's to be expected at a place with great food and great ambience. Was beyond pleasantly surprised by how good Etta was today with a great server, Bradley. Bradley described the unique side if Etta (food comes as it is cooked -served fresh & hot) & how the pizzas could be shared as an app. The three of us had the killer Foccacia bread w/ amazing butter & a margherita pizza as an app. It came w/ amazing hot oil, 3-cheese Parmesan, and some peppers that were to die for. The pizza was terrific. My wife had a huge Italian salad, while the rest of us had the crispy chicken sandwich - which rocked (make sure to keep the pizza seasoning/Parmesan & oil as I added that to my chicken sandwich). The dessert , Bunnuelos, was delicious as we had what in would call a beignet w/ chocolate sauce dip. Scrumptious. All in all it was a delicious meal with terrific service and Bradley and we live in Kierland and are going back for sure very soon! We've been so disappointed trying new places that just don't have that draw to come back sometimes service-wise & food-wise. However, this time we found someplace that we think is going to be a regular spot for us. This is a great addition to the Scottsdale Quarter! PS clean & nice bathrooms. Beautiful restaurant. Focaccia bread was excellent. Never fails though when the food runner runs out the food and you ask for extra sauce, he says absolutely and then completely forgets/disregards. Not sure who patrols the dress code but our server had Pamela Anderson hair, a very tight black top with a deep mesh V neck to show off her Pamela size "twins". Etta did not disappoint at all. Greeted warmly by the host, was promptly seated for my 5:15 reservation. My party of 6 was running late and server Dylan was very accomadating while I was waiting for my party. When my party got to Etta we all shared the oysters, ricotta pillows, focaccia bread, elote pie and meatballs. When I say this is the best food I had in a very very long time I MEAN IT. So good. The focaccia bread and meatballs are a must!! Cocktail and wine list were amazing and had a wide variety for all! Dylan had great recommendations and had extensive knowledge of wine, cocktails and food. All around this will be by new spot to bring family and friends because I am hooked. Went to Etta for Friends and Family night and you would have thought this restaurant had been in business for decades. A well oiled machine with a menu from Heaven and staff that treats you like family. Still dreaming about the beets, pizza, and pasta. 10/10 would drink the Giardinera they serve with your pizza. This is a lovely brunch spot which is an absolute MUST! Everything was great from the food to the cocktails especially the service. Alexis was our server and gave the best recommendations for what to order and drink. She was incredibly polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Her attention to detail is more of what sold it for me. Predicting our needs from refilling water with out asking, replacing silverware and even to the point that she refolded the napkins once someone got up from the table. The little extra things are what made this dining experience fantastic. All the staff was so nice even a little gesture of hello while walking to the restroom. The place is beautiful, but it's overpriced and overrated. Food was okay. I came here for the first time on my birthday, and the requests I made regarding the spiciness of the food were treated as an insult. The waitress seemed bothered by everything. We left the tip in cash, and as we were walking out the hostess rushed out to ask me why I didn't leave a gratuity, which frankly insulted me. I will not go back. It all started off with our warm and friendly waitress Day, she was so helpful during our visit, and we pretty much let her plan out our whole meal. We had the focaccia, meatballs, the Caesar salad with a nice piece of salmon on top, and the wood fired asparagus. My personal favorite was the chocolate cake with peanut butter ice cream.
